The staff were incredibly friendly. We enjoyed the rooftop poolside bar, the bartender Stacey did not miss with those drinks! The rooftop has plenty of outdoor lounge style seating perfect for watching the skyline in the morning or evenings. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a huge shower to top it off.

Parking. Parking. Parking. Do NOT book at the downtown location if you do not want a headache with the parking. Valet here is more convenient but it is a third-party company, please look at your receipt if you do use valet. I payed $226 and some change for 4 nights of valet, and somehow they changed it to 3 after already charging me for 4. After the 4th night they did not let me pickup my car in the morning without dishing out another $50+ for a "4th night" . This pool was a little dirty and this location also only has one working elevator but those two things were minor inconveniences to us.

Very nice hotel comfortable beds bedding. A nice little bar with cheerful and accommodating staff gave us nice referrals for dinner.

What I didn't like and was very disappointed was I brought my swimsuit to enjoy hanging out at the rooftop bar and swimming pool and it wasn't open so that was a big disappointment to me. They're also was a bullet hole in the window that was shattered but hadn't broken and I kind of thought that was weird!

Overall the stay was good. Felt very firm-ish inside. Not many other guests staying at the time and they weren’t able to put us on the same floor as our friends.

The valet parking was astronomically expensive! $50+ fees overnight. That was 50% of our overall cost to stay for the night.

The friendliness of the staff and the great prices. The resteraunt was good and convenient.

Room service did not clean the rooms even after I requested it.

Aloft Houston Downtown was in a great location. The hotel was clean and the staff were nice and helpful.

Appeared to be only one working elevator.

It was clean and it was very convenient to go out to fun places that was near the hotel.

The pool was very small, they didn’t have enough washcloths, every time I went to get some they didn’t have any we had to use the medium towels to shower with!

Comfortable rooms - spacious shower and bath Parking was secure across the street and cheaper by half to self park when the valets Use the same garage!

The pool needs more Umbrellas- there is no shade and two umbrellas are not enough.

I do like that the hotel is in walking distance to restaurants. I love that the beds are super comfortable, it's quiet, beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and I love I didn't get a room next to the brick this time.

The bar wasn't open my whole trip, there's no complimentary breakfast, and my room didn't get as warm as I wanted when I turned the heat up.

Location was perfect for the Astros game. I felt very safe once I was in the hotel, in order to use the elevators your room key must be swiped.

The parking was a bit confusing and due to the reviews about the valet sometimes charging you for an extra day had me worried the day of checkout.

We loved the rooftop pool and even though we didn’t have a view our room was nice. We loved the stand up shower as well.

The price of the valet parking but it wasn’t mandatory so that was a plus.
