I paid extra for the "free" breakfast when I made my reservation online. However, when I inquired about it, they said I didn't get free breakfast. I showed them my email confirmation that said I did have breakfast included and then they allowed it. There wasn't a huge selection but what we did order was good.

I didn't love that I had to pay extra for parking. It was also a little loud being next to the hospital. We did hear ambulances sometimes. Also, the a/c and heat "machine" was very loud.

We came to Charlottesville because I had a doctor's appointment downtown. I wanted a hotel close enough within walking distance. This location was perfect.

Never have I had to pay for parking at the hotel I was staying at for the night. This is a negative as far as using the Marriott again. Being a senior citizen, the Marriott should take this into consideration.

The property was in walking distance of UVA medical center. Shops and restaurants were steps away. Staff was very accommodating.

We had a difficult time finding the property because of the small signage on the main roadway. We were a little confused with the main entrance being on the side street.

My father had an early doctors appointment, therefore, we couldn’t work in a quick breakfast but I’m sure it would have been great. I’m very familiar with the breakfast selections at Courtyard.

It was a very long walk from the parking deck to the handicap accessible room for my 87 yr old father on a walker and I didn’t recall a place to park outside near the front desk/lobby area to have enabled me to make the trip to the room shorter.

Perfect location for accessing the University and the Downtown Mall on foot, once we parked in the hotel garage. Very friendly and helpful staff and clean and comfortable room. Also, we were given a room with two queens, which worked out better than what was available at the time of booking (one king).

A little pricey for a midrange hotel experience and slightly noisy since we were on the ground floor.

Location is very good . The handyman repaired something in our room very quickly and was quite helpful.

The room was not cleaned daily but perhaps we could have requested it. The towels were replaced though every day .

The breakfast was delicious, it was a lot of food for the price, well worth it. I got the Breakfast Burrito. The location was excellent, right near the hospital, perfect. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a bigger sign for the hotel. I drove past it a couple times until I noticed the sign, but I am not familiar with the area either.

There isn't anything that I disliked.

The location was great for access to the conference. The room was comfortable. The employees were pleasant and helpful. It was a nice large room.

There was some evidence that the cleaning crew needed to be more careful. The room, for the most part, appeared clean, but there seemed to be some places overlooked in the cleaning.

The friendly staff. Very nice e and helpful.

My refrigerator and micro leave were unplug and I couldn't get to the outlet to plug them in. Called front desk and someone came and fixed it within the hour.

Great uptown location.

My room was by an exit to the parking garage and every time someone went in or out, I was disrupted by the harsh slamming of two separate doors!!!! Had to deal with this up into the night... there was no rest!
