Breakfast was the standard scrambled eggs, potatoes (varying types), and meat (bacon, ham, or sausage). There wasn't a lot of variety with these main dishes. Some days there were hard-boiled eggs in addition to scrambled eggs and pancakes or french toast. There were bananas but not a lot of other fruit. They have white/wheat bread, a small variety of bagels, and various danishes. The food staff were polite and friendly and kept the food areas clean. The room cleaning staff did an exceptional job keeping the room clean and providing fresh towels about every other day.

The room furniture such as couch and chairs are dated and a little worn. I can't speak for all rooms it's possible that the furniture condition varies room to room. The bathroom was separated into the toilet and shower behind a door but the vanity was open to the bedroom. This layout didn't provide a lot of privacy to change clothes in the toilet/shower room. Not real close to the metro about 15 minute walk but it's DC so plan on doing a LOT of walking anyhow.

The apartment was well equipped, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff was kind and always ready to help (even arranging an early check-in, since the apartment was available, and storing the luggage for a couple of hours after check-out). The location of the hotel is extremely good, within a short walk to the White House and the National Mall. The continental breakfast is also very good, proposing different options in a nice setting, with a lot of seating space. The first floor has a little store, with snacks and some other items. A laundry is also available in the first floor, with washing and drying machines, which is extremely helpful for those staying for a longer period (quarters are needed, but reception can change it for you... Single dose washing powder is available at the hotel store as well).

It would be nice to have cutlery and cups that are not disposable in the breakfast.

The remodeling of the property you’re working stuff was outstanding. I’ve been along traveler to DC and NEA Director, who comes to lobby for educators unfortunately, I had a problem with your manager named Anna. Jamall in the front desk was excellent and so was the sales rep Delivia. 3/4 in my stay was on point.

Didn’t like bad fruit being added to water that looked delicious but when you drank, it tasted like bad fruit. Don’t like that you were only offering one reception a week rather than two or three times a week. It can’t be that costly.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had laundry facility and front desk assisted with quarters and detergent. Breakfast varied slightly from day to day.rooms were spacious and comfortable with enough space for packing clothes. Bus stop was around the corner and one across and a streetmarket is a 3 minute walk from there.

Hotel was packed over Christmas season, and you had to time to breakfast early to ensure you get some of the warm food. Kitchen needs an update. A bit of a distance from the museums, but easily walkable.

This is 100% a family oriented hotel. The rooms are big for DC. But this is still an east coast hotel. Breakfast is solid for a "included breakfast". Some version of eggs and breakfast meat each day with pastries, bagels, toast, fruit, etc. You have a full kitchen, so it is perfect if you are getting/bringing in your own food. You have a way of keeping stuff cold and reheating as needed. There are even dishes and a dishwasher! We stayed for 6 nights and the separate pullout bed and TV area was a life saver. This is located very near the 52 and 54 bus lines. The 52 can take you right to and from the national mall. Be prepared with cash for your fair. They don't take credit cards. You can also buy and fund a metro card at the Mcpherson Square subway station 3 blocks away, and use it for metro or bus. I REALLY recommend familiarizing yourself with both systems and downloading the metro app before trying to use either. Uber is affordable, but much more expensive than metro. We took Uber from the airport to the hotel for $40 (we needed an Uber XL to fit the 4 of us) and returned to the airport on metro during peak hours for $2.75 a person.

We arrived at 5:30 PM and our room wasn't ready. This seems to be an issue with this hotel. If checkout is 11, I don't see why rooms can't be ready several hours later. For us it was not a massive problem, but it clearly was for other travelers. We checked out bags and headed out to see the sights. Don't plan on parking at this hotel. Parking is limited , there is a daily fee, and requires a valet. You have to request room cleaning a day in advance. For us, this was only an issue because we kept running out of garbage space. But we figured this out by using other bags and putting full bags outside the door to be picked up. This worked fine for us. I am sure they would come and collect trash as often as needed.

Spacious, clean room with kitchenette .We only stayed overnight and didn't use the kitchen, but for a longer stay it would have been a lifesaver. The location is great, wishing walking distance of White House and Capital Mall. Also, around the corner from the hotel is a street with eateries that are not super expensive. Valet parking seems expensive, but ultimately it saved us a big headache as the parking garages in the area seemed to be full or not open to the general public (we stayed on a Saturday night) Also helpful was the fact that we could leave our luggage until check in time.

There should have been more coffee and creamer in the room.

This hotel has been great for our family of five. From check in with Jamal to the assistance Ms. Tina offered all week, the experience with this hotel was great. Everyone was welcoming, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. Any requests we made (extra towels or soap) were immediately handled. The coffee station stays out all day in the lobby, which our daughter discovered to include hot chocolate. This was a great afternoon treat on a couple of occasions. There was no hot chocolate one afternoon, but Ms Tina made sure it was handled. Great service from this staff! Some reviews complained that breakfast did not stay supplied all morning, but this was not our experience. Also, Wednesday offered a guest reception that featured salad, finger foods, beer and wine, and chicken noodle soup…for free! This added bonus to our week became a meal. The hotel is a short 8 minute walk to McPherson Square to catch the Metro. In case you were wondering, this is 8 minutes with a 6 year old. You may be able to walk the 3.5 blocks down 15th street quicker. Or, if you like, the bus picks up half a block away to take you to McPherson Square. This is definitely a great hotel for your stay in DC!

The location is amazing! From the Hotel we went to White House, WWII Memorial, Washington Memorial, Washington Monument, then some museums, then Botanic Garden, and last stop United Capitol and back to the Hotel on Pennsylvania Av. is 7 miles! It was just perfect! Also, the staff in the Hotel, the service, etc. all was excellent. This is the only hotel that we are planning to visit again and visits the others museums that we couldn’t go.

This is not a negative, just an improvement that the hotel needs. The bathroom didn't have a fan which make a little difficult for us to use it. Also I didn't have an outlet "at hand" to plugh the phone, I had to push the light table to plug my phone there.

I loved our suite and that it had queen beds and a full mini kitchenette. It was quiet. The water was always hot. The room was super clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was outstanding. It always had eggs, sausage, danishes… Even breakfast tacos! The staff were so nice and helpful.

It is a bit far from a metro stop so you have to be prepared to walk or take an Uber or taxi or drive. Also, there is not an ice machine on every floor.

The highlight was the staff, VERY helpful, available, and cheerful, whether it was people at the front desk or at the breakfast buffet or cleaning services, everyone was polite and cheerful. Speaking of breakfast buffet, the food was really above what I expected. The fruit was fresh and tasty, there was a great selection of food. I got a little lost (it is off a slightly confusing turn off of a traffic circle, not well marked/signed but I called the front desk and got great directions and found my way right there.
