Superclose location to the national park. Small cottages in the middle of forest (next to the road :)) with microwave and fridge. Overall cleanness is A+ but housekeeping please check the fridges always because ours was somehow turned off and all the ice melted from the freezer part of the fridge, so the whole thing was soaked in water what I had to clean…. Towels were not changed daily what made my heart melt (Although we got a few fresh ones). Finally a place what uses their common sense and not changing the towels every day, which is pointless. Let’s save water and save Earth! That is a great movement, should be like this everywehere! Ps.: National park visitors! Make sure you bring some food with yourself, because around the whole area (30 miles) all the restaurants close at 8.00pm … or earlier :D If you’ll finish your hike later and have no food… well good like to find a place to eat! ;-)

Fridge :(

I saw the mixed reviews and honestly was not sure of this. I booked it cause it was the nearest to mt rainier in ashford (it's literally just beside the park entrance). The place exceeded my expectations when I reached. I thought the room was nice. The furniture and appliances looks good.

Wifi didn't really work at the start even though they had a few wifi to choose from. It works only in the main office but there's an issue when using in our rooms. Somehow it worked after a few hours so that was good.

it was in within walking distance of the gate to Mt. Rainier. Not that you would walk in, but it made it very convenient in the morning because you were right there.

This was not a problem for us, but they was a very long line to get into the park. The only time I was worried about it was when we were going out to dinner. Our worry was when coming back we would have to get in the line. We just timed it right because it was well worth being right outside the gate to deal with this little inconvenience.

What a pleasant little surprise. Loved everything. The beds were comfy. It had A/C. GREAT location, walking distance to the Rainier entrance. The staff called to ensure they were there to support our check in. Traffic from Seattle was a little bad, but they were so patient. The staff all around the facility was so lovely and welcoming. I loved the DVD player in the room. The beds were comfy. We were only there a night but it really had everything we needed.

No complaints.

The cabin was very comfortable and clean. I like that I can park my car close to the unit. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I left something behind and I was able to pick it up three weekends after.

WiFi connection was non-existent to very weak. I realize that this might be a plus for most of the folks staying here but I needed to do some work. So I drove down to the Base Camp grill to use my phone’s hotspot.

great location! right outside the national park entrance. large room, with two queen or full size beds, plus couches. Also had a big refrigerator and a microwave. and big flat Tv

I could not connect to wifi, on my phone or my laptop. The password just did not work, and I tried several times. And I had no cell service in my room. But I got there after dark from the park, and I left in the morning.

LOCATION! It was literally right at the entrance to Mt. Rainier. I really appreciated how the staff called in and left detailed directions for after hours check-in! Our flight was delayed so we didn’t get to the property til 11pm, but it was awesome that they left a message telling me where my cabin was located and after hours directions. We got there and they printed the map with detailed instructions. It saved us since it was so late and so dark and we were beat up from traveling all day. Very spacious with everything you need!

POOR LIGHTING as all reviewers say. The comforter had fresh-looking stains from who knows what.

You can't get any closer to staying in the national park without actually staying in the park. The man up front is probably one of the nicest people I've ever met. Such a nice older man. This is the second time we've stayed here and this time we stayed in one of the brand new cabins which are very nice and brand new. The TV's come with a DVD player and a few movies to choose from which was kinda cute for the kids to watch movies. The lobby has a small general store with some food/beer selection in case you forgot to stock up before checking in.

The beds were so uncomfortable. They are a memory foam type bed that were just super uncomfortable to all of us. Not enough pillows for the beds either. Each bed only had one pillow per person. I love the location and staff but the comfort of the new beds in the new cabins were just terrible. Didn't get much sleep due to how uncomfortable the beds were.

AMAZING LOCATION. Located directly outside Mount Rainer National Park's front gate. You can not get a better location. Cute little cabins!

Zero cell service and wifi. Despite what they claim there is less than zero wifi. You cannot connect to any of the networks they provide. I stayed in one of the cabins and the shower was extremely small. Similar size to what you would find in a camper.

Very nice room right outside the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Could not ask for a better location. Interesting room set up with the bunk beds in a separate room but I imagine this works great for a family. My wife and I enjoyed this stay a lot.

The only issue was the bathroom was a bit tight, difficult for two people getting ready for bed at night.
