Our Aria King Room was spacious and well appointed with a desk, small refrigerator, small microwave, Keurig individual cup coffee maker, safe, two robes, luggage stand and a comfortable chair with ottoman. The bathroom, although small, was very functional. The walk in shower was nicely done ~ without a shower door but set up such that water stayed within the confines of the shower. Provided soap, shampoo and lotion was of good quality and towels were thick and absorbent. The King Bed was comfortable and the Scandanavian Sleep Method bedding was of high quality and allowed for a restful night. Although our rooms location was overlooking Roy Street which we thought might cause it to be noisy and too light for a restful nights sleep, happily I can say that was not so. There was no noticeable street noise and the black out curtains did an excellent job of doing just that, blacking out the exterior lights.
We woke up to no hot water and the employees at the front desk could not offer any "compensation" for this major inconvenience. Customers who complained were simply given the General Manager's business card and told they could contact her with their complaint? Not acceptable customer service. Could have been a 10.0 rating but reduced it to 8.0 because of this inability to address a major inconvenience on the spot.

I loved that the hotel offered free bicycles and we spent 6 hours riding around Seattle. It's one of the main reasons I chose this hotel along with price, location and reviews. I would love if the hotel added water cages to the bicycles and made sure all the bike seats were adjustable. Having a set of tools on hand would be a bonus to make minor adjustments. We stopped at REI to get the seat adjusted. The free glass of wine was a nice touch, the rooms are roomy, and the bed, pillow and twin duvet are super comfortable. I would have like to have had a super powerful shower head after the day's bike ride, but I survived. We would stay here again.

The decor and classy yet artistic flair of the hotel. Location was great very near where we needed to sightsee. You were given a complimentary beverage for all in your party upon arrival that you could redeem during your stay. The safe day or night was super helpful in room service and suggestions to explore or dining in Seattle. Professional and kind.
The parking garage is very accommodating for small cars or SUV’s not so great for trucks or bigger vehicles like a Tahoe or similar. You do have to remember your cars key not just to get into your room but to work the elevator or use the pool or gym.

Well located in a nice neighbourhood, close to the Seattle Center (Space Needle/Arena/Monorail). Beds were extremely comfortable and the room was a good size. Staff were friendly and, mostly, helpful.
On check-in we weren’t informed what was being charged (was it the infamous amenity fee? an incidentals hold?) as it was $150 more than what was quoted (inclusive of all taxes and fees). I opted for an e-invoice to get clarity, but it was never sent. The other thing I found a little off - but this is a purely personal thing - the bar area was VERY VERY bright, which wasn’t conducive to settling in and having a couple of drinks at the end of the night.

We stayed 4 nights so got a good feel for the hotel. Really comfortable beds with duvets which is so rare in the US, big family room, big bathroom, good air con, friendly staff, great location. Parking on site (paid for). Fridge and microwave in room. Bedding for sofa bed left in the room ( this frequently isn't the case as we found on our road trip which is really annoying when you just want to go to bed). Sofa bed very comfortable and not squeaky (again this is often not the case). Given a really good price for the Sunday night stay.
Housekeeping was a bit erratic. We were 4 in the room but they only ever left 2 cups and 2 glasses so we had to keep asking for more. Also didn't leave enough coffee for the number of people in the room. It was easy enough to call for more but it was irritating to have to call every time we got back from a day out. Only 2 bath robes in a room for 4.

Mattress was nice. The room was nice and big, lots of towels, loved the robes and extra seating/tables. LOVED the free drinks. Decor was super hip and fun and the bar downstairs was really cool. Long hallway great for suitcases and the little shelf was great for the keys. Lots of places to plug in devices.
Didn't love the single duvet--very hot. The dark curtains did not close so it was very bright in the room. Too many blinking lights on things in the room made it hard to sleep. We like to use stairs so that would have been nice to access. Tea in the afternoon would have been nice with coffee in the morning instead.

Fantastic proximity to Climate Pledge Arena and Seattle Center. It's just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the touristy spots, making it a bit quieter, but still very walkable to many things. The staff at The Maxwell were very friendly and accommodating. The pineapple cookies were a welcome snack in the afternoon. Our room (junior suite) was quite large, and the beds were very comfortable. Finally, a hotel that understands that good pillows aren't super squishy!
The only thing I would recommend is to request a room on the top floor. Our upstairs neighbors walked around a lot (sounded like stomping), and that unfortunately kept us up later than we wanted. Other than that, it was a very nice stay!

The location of the hotel was awesome. We asked to be on a higher floor and we were. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. We were allowed a late checkout when requested, which came in handy as our flight was not until 10 pm.
The room coffee was not very strong. One front desk staff worker said she didn't know anything about public transportation when we asked if she knew if we could get to the airport. She suggested we take an UBER. That would work, but I think front desk staff at a Seattle hotel, should be able to tell you how to get to the airport using public transportation.

The hotel was a nice start to our family vacation for 4 (all adults). The hotel featured a great location, beautiful and fanciful decor, inviting lobby and sitting areas, and well-placed conveniences (coffee, pastries, bar, clean indoor pool). The staff members were friendly and gave each of us a card for a free beverage. There is also shuttle service to the the cruise terminal for a per-person fee. We would definitely recommend or rebook this hotel.
Literally nothing was bad. We were pleased with all aspects of the hotel and our stay. The bedding was a new experience, but we liked that too.

Paid for parking when there were no spots in the parking garage. So my car was left out on the street all night. When I stated the garage was full no one stated anything about refunding my parking charges. In the garage there were numerous cars parked not in spots appropriately. They should have someone down to guide spots to let front desk know when it’s full and to help people park appropriately.
