I like so many things of this place. The location is in the center and closed to everything. Parking is not bad in the evening and free on Sunday and holidays. The room has ocean view. So beautiful in the day time and in the evening. I even do not want to leave the room until we have to check out. The design of the hotel is very special (in a good way!) I heard this place used to be for sailors. Our room has a Music Hall radio. It feels nice to listen music and watch the view through the window. The breakfast is good too! The dining area is comfortable and the teas are soooooo tasty! We would love to stay here again if we come back to Seattle. Also, I booked the wrong date at first and the host kindly helped me update the dates without extra charges. I really appreciate!
The light from hallway comes into the room during the bedtime. However, it didn’t bother us after we fell asleep.

Clean and cozy, budget friendly. I was surprised by the small rooms and the shared bathrooms at first but the rooms were adorable and clean and the bathrooms maintained very well. We had no issues for our one night stay. Could get a little cramped for a longer stay. You can upgrade to a deluxe room for a charge.
No elevator which was fine for us but I could see it being an issue for some for sure. Desk was very helpful and offered to carry our bags up but for anyone using a walker or wheelchair or who had problems with stairs this is not going to be your place. It is very loud at night. We were across from the comedy club and it was very loud until at least 3 or 4 am. I suggest leaving the tv on for background noise or using the complementary earplugs. They also have fans which was a nice touch for us fan sleepers.

Overall had a great stay here. I was a bit apprehensive about not having a bathroom in my room, but the bathrooms were aplenty, close to my room and were very clean and comfortable. There was a bit of noise outside, but they provided earplugs which was great. The room had a desk which was awesome, a sink which came in handy for teeth brushing and washing hands, a queen bed and a view of the street below. Staff were very friendly and continental breakfast/coffee/tea was included which is always nice. Being a Canadian, it was a little expensive because our dollar sucks, but it was right next to the concert venue I was going to which was super handy. Would def. stay here again.

Loved how quiet it was for relaxation. The room didn't have a bathroom, but having a sink was so useful when needing to wash your face for the night and brush your teeth. Everything we needed was in walking distance, with the most minutes being a 13 minute walk. We realized that walking was actually quicker than taking an uber. The little kitchen for continental breakfast was intimate and calm, and we loved the croissants and yogurt supplied. The staff went over and beyond, gave sight ideas, and even were accommodating when we already checked out - they let us leave our luggage with them until the flight.
It can't be helped that some rooms do not have bathrooms, and is more of a preference being able to roll over in the middle of the night to use it. This could be fixed if we picked a room that had a bathroom, so it's much more than a preference than a dislike. The communal bathrooms for showering were never busy when we needed them, so it was very peaceful.

I liked the eccentric decor. To me, the room had an "artist loft" feel. The barn door between the toilet and shower was especially interesting. And the retro turntable (which I could never figure out how to operate) and radio (which I did use) added to the quirky furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived mid-morning but check-in was not until 3pm. However, the desk employee found us a vacant room and checked us in. In fact, the employees with whom we dealt were phenomenal! Tracy, Christine, and Autumn were more than accommodating. Their friendly demeanor made our trip to Seattle even more enjoyable.
I would have been nice to have an elevator, as we had to lug large suitcases up and down the stairs.

This place is OG Ace at its best! I believe it is their first property and it is so cool that it really feels like you’re in Seattle 15-20 years ago in the best possible way. It is super minimalistic yet has the most incredible little touches throughout the property. It is so fun to see all the details and attention they put into it.
I will say that the only thing that is a bit of a challenge are the stairs that bring you to the front desk. If you have a lot of luggage that is not the most fun part of arriving. I have to say, though it does remind me of climbing a mountain and, the reward is great! The front desk with the beautiful mountain painting behind it is a stunning reception area. On our way out, the man who checked us out, helped us bring our bags down, which was not necessary, but greatly appreciated. The staff is absolutely delightful!

Room was cute and all we needed as we spent very little time in it. Every staff member we encountered were awesome and helpful! Nice little kitchen downstairs and loved being able to have tea at night and coffee/breakfast in the morning. Very convenient location. We were able to walk all over downtown/Pike’s Place etc. Tons of great restaurants and bars within a couple of blocks. Street parking was actually much more plentiful than we thought it would be!
We stayed over NYE and so it was busy/noisy outside our windows and you can hear other people in their rooms when the hotel was full on NYE. Not a huge deal for us! Cost of our nights was also probably the highest it ever is because of NYE and Seahawks game, so the value wasn’t there for this trip, but we knew that going in.

I’ve stayed in the ACE hotel in Portland before and this one in Seattle is just as good. I love this chain and the staff are so friendly. Such a hip hotel central to Seattle with everything in walking distance 15 minute walk to Pike place market and a few minutes away from the water side should you want a stroll away from the blocks and somewhere a little bit more different. Short walking distance to the ferry port which can take it to Bainbridge Island. I was travelling to Seattle to meet a friend who lives there and I felt very safe around this part of town as well as at the hotel. there’s a fantastic bakery opposite where you can have a lovely pastry and coffee.
I cannot fault the property at all.

From the check-in to check out, everything went so smooth! Brandon met us at the door and was a huge help in effortlessly carrying my luggage up the stairs (there's no elevator). Our room wasn't ready, so he took my number down to let me know when it was. We were able to leave our luggage there while we walked to pikes place, which was just a couple blocks away. He gave us a map of the area. He was so sweet and helpful. The room was perfect. Had the best balcony we sat at and enjoyed the sun and planned for the days. The king-sized bed was so comfortable. Boxed water came in handy. We got a room with a private bath, but passing by the shared bathrooms. They looked immaculately clean. Our shower was a good size with good water pressure and lovely smelling shampoos/conditionder/body wash. My boyfriend and I never felt crowded or cramped. It was quiet, and we slept so soundly every night. They gave us a recommendation for the pink door, which was a great bday dinner for my boyfriend! We were so close to everything so we walked mostly everywhere, mopop, space needle, bisquit bitch, Underground Tour, smith tower, even all the way to capitol hill! There was a great bar nearby Vindictive Bar that had trivia and great beer and wings. Lots of cafes around too. We also went to Here-After to catch a show. Check out was a breeze. My boyfriend ended up leaving his fleece jack behind in the room so they were sweet enough to mail it to us back to California! I was truly wowed by their exceptional service and appreciated how personable they were. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again.
There was nothing we didn't like!

The beds were very comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful, they gave us recommendations of nearby restaurants and attractions. Our room was clean and we loved the continental breakfast provided.
The rooms could get a bit stuffy. One of the rooms we were in the electrical outlet just stopped working which sucked because I thought my phone was charging through the night and it didn't. Lastly some of the showers had like insane water pressure, felt like I was getting hosed down by a hydrant lol
