I always stay at the downtown La Quinta when I visit Spokane. The staff is fabulous, the accommodations attractive and comfortable, and the full, hot breakfasts are great. They are especially appreciated for happily accepting guest dogs!

Inflation has taken a small toll on the breakfast offerings. (But they still are best! The strawberry waffles are irresistible, although I did miss the wonderful ham, since I'm not a sausage fan.) The property is located downtown where there is a lot of foot traffic at night, but the exterior and parking area is well lit, and the entrances are secure. I never have felt unsafe on the property.

The front desk staff was very helpful any time I needed assistance. Juniper is a rockstar! The computer system was down upon arrival but she got us into a room in a timely manner. The breakfast had a nice variety of options. I was initially only booked for 3 nights but our place is still at Level 3 evacuation and was easily able to extend my stay for 2 additional nights in the same room. I really like the fact that they are a pet friendly hotel (the number 1 reason I chose this place) Daughter was able to bring her cat with her. This fact alone makes any negative comments (about the location, not the hotel itself) irrelevant.

The entrance to hotel was a little tricky to navigate. The first time and I ended up passing it, but on subsequent returns I got it right. When going out to smoke in front of hotel where the ashtray was I was approached by someone asking for a cigarette almost every time I went out which although I didn't feel unsafe, it was uncomfortable. The area has high foot traffic due to location and there's constant activity at the store next door. (No fault of the hotel, just a by-product of location)

Great friendly employees, good breakfast for most people, I am vegan so limited options would love to see a plant based milk option for coffee creamer, clean place, great access to freeway, nice little workout room, free parking, can walk to brewpub around the corner

Hotel is surrounded by homeless camps, garbage everywhere, walked my dog at 5 am in the dark and encountered numerous people doing drugs, the grass that is part of the hotel property was full of dog poop from owners who didn’t pick up after their pets so this needs to be addressed, also could have used a table in the room but came down to the lobby to use big table

Hotel was renovated around 5 years ago. They did a nice job with the upgrades. The room is very nice a spacious. The bathroom is pretty small but functional. The hot breakfast was very well stocked and good as was the coffee.

The location was rather questionable. The property and parking was very nice and secure. But, the area was rather run down and not good to walk around in. Directly adjacent was a 7-11 gas station and convenience store where a lot of homeless people were constantly hanging out and asking for money. Not the fault of the hotel. But, it's there. .

Probably the BEST La Quinta breakfasts ever ... much better than the rest. NO EXTRA CHARGE for the small dog Fairly new looking hotel and in really good condition Comfy beds

The listing neglects to mention all the crack heads across the street at 7-11 (we are talking 30+ sitting and lying around on the sidewalks at in the 7-11 parking lot) However ... the hotel has a good handle on it with good security, fenced yard and locked front door. The crack heads were never on the property, but obviously there when walking the area No pool

We selected this property for it’s proximity to the concert venue. I expected this property to be older and thus maybe a bit run down because of the location, I don’t think it’s older or a remodel even. It is beautiful, modern and very clean, and I can be picky. I also appreciate the security measures they have taken for their guests, as stated earlier this is an older part of town and so has it’s challenges. This was a great experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The staff was were genuinely friendly and happy. Although we didn’t really dive into breakfast, they had a very nice selection and would be an excellent start to anybody’s day.

Honestly I can’t say anything bad so I’ll just add to the good. They had easy freeway access. The rooms were very quiet, I have stayed in places where you can hear all the surrounding noise, not here it was quieter than my own home, I’m a light sleeper so was glad for the restful sleep.

We enjoyed our stay once we got a room. The room was clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful.

When we checked in, they had given our room to my in laws due to a misunderstanding. When we got there, there were no more rooms available for us to stay anywhere around due to a wrestling competition. They did try and find us a place, and it turned out to be horrible. We "floor surfed" instead the first night. Thankfully, we were able to stay there the 2nd night, and it was SO NICE compared to what we had been through.

I love having a breakfast. And I loved how comfortable the beds are. And the rooms, have at first glance, looked clean.

Even though the breakfast was great, it was cold, meaning the gravy was not hot enough probably to kill bacteria, but I'm not a scientist so who knows, and my room open onto a dilapidated old building next to us. And the room wasn't as clean as I thought. I have short brown hair, and in the morning when I pull the sheets back there was a bunch of long black hair. And the pool of yellow around the base of the toilet was dry before I even got there. What I stay here again probably.

Price was good. Allowed dogs ($20/dog pet fee). Clean/updated. TV had "guide" option. Obvious renovation done recently, which was nice. Good service. Overall, La Quintas are a reliable choice.

Windows arent made to open; a/c noisy & on/off all night...too cold then too hot. Beds ok but had better. Homeless in the area, tho fencing around parking & security seemed to keep parking area safe. Shower could use bigger shelf for shower items. Light bulb had to be screwed in to turn on floor lamp; desk lamp took some figuring out to turn on. After that, good lighting!

The staff, The cleanliness, The comfort, The breakfast, The security fence around the parking lot, Pet friendly.

The Homeless people all around the outside of the hotel, This is an uneasy feeling when leaving your car outside. Although it had a gate around it, the security gate was not completely secure. Also There’s no Outside facilities for the dogs,And if you try to walk your dog to find a place there’s no grass anywhere except over by Goodwill
