Stayed here with friends recently. Rooms were on the smaller size but perfectly adequate. Hanoi is so hot so it was nice to have a room with working AC and a comfortable and clean bed to sleep in. Staff were very helpful and friendly. After I checked out I had 8 hours to kill before my train and staff helped me arrange activities and tours and recommended a spa for me to relax in.

Only thing I wasn’t used to is that the hotel gets shuttered and locked in at night. Went out later one night (around 11) and first floor had lights off and front door was locked and shuttered with metal gates. Found a man sleeping on a cot and he opened the shutters and unlocked the doors for me. Not really sure how someone would return to the hotel afterwards. This kind of security is very common around Vietnam but I wasn’t used to it.

Staff were outstanding. Anna & Emma took great care of me and my travels, arranging my visa, a trip to Halong Bay & a street food tour. Anna is always available on What's App & is very efficient. All the arrangements were perfect. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Serviced daily. Excellent location in the heart of the Old Quarter but amazingly quiet.

The WiFi was a bit slow but if you have a local SIM the signal is good.

Everything really. The location is in the middle of the old town within easy walking distance to the main attractions, night market and many food places. The beds are very comfortable, the A/C instantly effective and the accommodation perfectly layed-out and clean for a family of 4. The breakfast was great and had both local and western choices. But best of all was the exceptional and very caring service from Anna, Emma and all other staff. Anna was super responsive and organised everything for us including trips to Lan Ha Bay, trips around Hanoi, SIM cards, laundry and airport transfers.

A real gem of a hotel right in the heart of the Old Quarter. Easy walking distance to all the major attractions. Anna and her staff were amazing . They all gave exceptional customer service. Anna went out of her way to arrange a fantastic tour to Sapa for us, and her night staff were waiting for us in the lobby on our return to make sure we returned safely as the sleeper bus was 1 hour late getting into Hanoi. Anna also arranged a complimentary car to the airport on our departure, and all the staff came to door to say goodbye. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The room smelt very fresh and the bedding was good quality. There was plenty of hot water to shower in . The free wifi was excellent throughout the hotel .

There no big issues with our stay. The only nuisance issue was the shower curtain. It was a lot longer than the height of the tub and if you had it positioned outside the tub, a lot of water ended up on the bathroom floor.

The property has an amazing location. However, as a solo traveler, I booked a single room, which was very small and simple. To be fair, the room size was clearly mentioned in the details, so it was my mistake for not reading them properly, as it was a last-minute booking. The breakfast is simple but tasty. It’s not a buffet—you order it from a menu. Special thanks to Lucie! She made my stay so much better. She was extremely helpful, assisted me with booking my trip to Ha Long Bay, and was very responsible when organizing a transfer to the airport for me. She explained everything thoroughly and gave me lots of tips on what to do in Hanoi. If it weren’t for her, my rating for this place would definitely be lower.

• Make sure you’re not too picky when booking this hotel. It’s very simple, so don’t expect miracles, the room is clean, but you can’t complain considering the price and the location. • It might get noisy, so I recommend bringing earplugs, especially since some guests might be “having fun” in their rooms. • At night, they close the front entrance, and you’ll need to knock on the iron “curtain” for the security guard to let you in, which gives off a bit of a weird vibe. • Other than that, everything else was well-organized, and the staff were kind and helpful.

The Parklane hotel was exactly what we were looking for— great value, location, and service. We extended our stay multiple times! The location is extremely central in the old quarter, but it’s on a street that is quieter. Anna is amazing— I messaged her directly on WhatsApp. Also when we left I forgot a small bag 🫣 we already left for Da Nang, but Anna contacted me and mailed it!!! What fantastic service ✨ Also they were great about holding our bags while we did multi-day trips to Ha Long Bay, the Ha Giang Loop, etc. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay! The beds were really comfy and the rooms were nice and clean. But more than anything: the kindness and helpfulness of the staff was out of this world. When asked where to get a local Bia Hoi, he walked all the way with us to a spot you can get it. Also great recommendations on the foodtour and other activities in Hanoi.

We were in 3 single rooms. Smiley, friendly staff who were incredibly helpful, carrying our bags to our rooms and giving us welcome advice on arrival. Quiet oasis in the middle of a busy, hectic city. Loved coming back here after a hot day sightseeing! No windows but really didn't worry us as all. Good bathroom, fresh, clean-smelling towels and fridge in one of our rooms (thanks for the upgrade! :).  Bottled water provided. Stylish decor, good storage and comfortable,  firm beds, which we liked.  Great, quietish location on side street but only a short walk to the action. Great WiFi. Excellent value for money!

One of the mattresses was a little sunken in the middle. Corridors (cleaners in the morning) and particulary the room near reception were a little noisy at times.

Perfect location! Right in the old center (to give you some examples in terms of walking distance: 5 min from the lake and the famous cathedral, 15 min l from the mural street or the prison museum, 20 min l from the opera house, 25 min from the train street) yet far from the noise of the streets. Anna and Emma (with me in the picture) are among the most lovely people I met during my trip to Vietnam! Not only they can help with booking local transportation to difference provinces but they can also promptly assist for any other needs. For example, as my bus was early morning they arrange the kitchen to open earlier than breakfast time so that I could eat and they even packed some food for the trip; I needed some medicine because of a insect bite and they quickly went to the pharmacy to buy something for me. As I went back for my second time they upgraded me to a bigger room but I can guarantee that all beds are super comforbale!

Well, the room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. On 2nd night when i checked in, i enjoyed free upgrade, a kind gesture of Anna, to a larger room. I skipped the first night at Parklane due to a last minute appointment with a friend and got to stay somewhere. After paperwork done by Anna’s equally friendly staff Emma, Anna opened up the city map and warmly showed me some interesting places in should visit like the famous lake, Tram Street, church and Beer Street. She made me feel at home. Anna was also the first one to welcome me when i stepped foot in the hotel. She meticulously attended to my travelling needs throughout my stay in VN.
