All the staff especially Ms. Thao are very kind and accommodating. All of them are very helpful. My cousin got sick and she even bring fruits and thermometer for her. The breakfast selection are also good and yummy. The staff in the dining hall are also kind. Our room 301 is big, spacious and clean. Just right for a family of 4. There was a power shortage on our last day. Even though we already checked out at 12 and just waiting to go to the airport, Ms Thao still takes care of us. Offered cold drinks, watermelon and chestnuts. Carry our luggages from our room to the lobby and also to the van that will take us to the airport. Their kindness and hospitality are worthy of high ratings and good feedback. Highly recommended!! We might book them again on our next visit.

3rd stay in Spoon hotel, we came back after short detour from Hanoi to visit Central Vietnam (Hoi An and Da Nang), back to Hanoi for new year's eve. Small gestures from hotel staff to provide each room with a small pack of VN snack (they also did this during our 2nd stay with Christmas). We did laundry which was great (returned on same day in the evening if received before 10/11 AM), we did day trip tours to HaLong Bay and Ninh Binh arranged by the kind hotel staff. We saw the fireworks on top Train streets from one of our family group room with balcony! Again, another perfect stay in Old quarter Hanoi thanks to great staff from Spoon Hotel !

Nothing really other than what had been mentioned earlier about the small water coming out from shower. No complaints whatsoever during our additional 2 nights stay in Spoon hotel, Hanoi.

4th stay in Spoon hotel, this alone testify how much i like to stay in this hotel for my visit to Hanoi. In addition of many positive sides i have mentioned earlier, another plus are its close location to a the jewelry store/gold shop street, just 2 blocks 5 mins walking distance, where you could experience the "only in Vietnam" thing where we could exchange foreign currency to VND in gold shop :D. Ask around for best rates, hotel staff recommended me to shop 25-29, these are 2 or 3 different gold shops who offer sometime same or slightly different rates.

Due to its close location to train streets, in the evening there were 2-3 times train or locomotive passing. If you are a light sleeper, ask for the room in the back of building and/or high floor, highest at level 8 (less train noise coming though), if you are not a light sleeper, can ask for with balcony or in the front of building to see the train streets from your room (either directly from balcony or through a glass window from your room).

2nd time to stay in Spoon Hotel, Hanoi after first time back in June 2024. What i like most is exceptional service from the staff who organized pick from airport (VND 400,000 for 2 pax) and then transfer to airport the next day (VND 300,000 for 2 pax), breakfast selection was good with additional 1 menu to choose out of 8 mix of asian and western cuisine (i always ordered the Pho). Special highlights to all staff: Ms, Thao, Mr. Phuc, Ms. Trang and 2 staff in kitchen/breakfast whom i did not have the chance to get their name.

One minor thing to improve is the shower: the water coming out is not focused but spread all around so can not avoid to get the bathroom from getting wet after shower. Perhaps it's time to replace the shower head.

Superb location i ever stayed. Just near to train street which is the best attraction in hanoi. If you are a street food lover and interested in local markets, it's s the best option in hanoi old quarter. All the staffs were very friendly, caring and always there to help you for anything, anytime. Especially lady receptionist "THAIO" and the guy who was on duty in the evening. Food was awesome and the restaurant staff as well. In my travel history, i never met such an incredible hotel staffs. They made my stay and trip simply superb. I strongly recommend everyone to try this hotel. I promise that you won't regret. The spacious room was very clean and well maintained. Thanks a lot HOTEL SPOON Team. Will see you soon. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would rate it 3 or 4 stars. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with great amenities. The reception staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist. The location was convenient, close to key attractions. Overall, a great experience, and I would recommend it to others!"

However, one of the kitchen staff who always sweeping and cleaning the reception area. This guy was kinda unprofessional because he hit me with the toilet door while I was inside the restroom and never said sorry. Might be he did intentionally to me. Plus breakfast options were limited.

This was my second visit to this hotel. I was upgraded to the best room in the hotel. I had the view of train street from my balcony. The breakfasts had good fruits served and the chef was amazingly pleasant infact all the workers were the best. The spoke good English and were kind to the guests. Name of this hotel was known by all grab drivers and the location was the best for pickups and drop off to and from excursion and grab rides

The location is very good. The train street is just across the street. You can walk to many sightseeing points. The staff were super polite, friendly and willing to help Breakfast was good, you could choose from a list of meals (omelette, pancakes,etc.), plus there was a small buffet, including fruits. It was quite clean and comfortable Wardrobe was very spacious

My room didn’t have a normal window, only an internal one (gives on the corridor). As far as I understand there arel rooms that have a window and there are those which don’t, but it was not bad. If you open the internal window, you get enough light and in general you can of course turn on the lights, but it’s always lovelier with a window. Otherwise all was great

Great service and helpful staff especially Miss Thao, who helped me to book from bus trip from Sapa to Hanoi (to be paid later during check out) and day trips to Halong Bay and Ninh Binh + arrange for transfer to airport on departure day with reasonable cost VND 250,000, in summary one stop solution for all your travel needs.. In addition, location was great in Old quarter Hanoi, just next to the Train street, lots of local street food options in walking distance. Recommend to opt to included breakfast as they provide small selection of buffet + 1 menu from a la carte ranging from western to local VN dish which tasted quite good. All staffs were friendly, Phuoc (night shift while Ms Thao in day shift), also Anh (midnight shift?). Double room bed was clean, lots of space, and room on 4th floor also no issue with the elevator.

Only small improvement recommendation is the water pressure for shower as has been also written by other travelers - pressure was kind of weak, OK still for shower though.

the breakfast was good with all you can eat and a wide variety of options. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they even took my bags to my room when i ran out to go sight seeing when i didnt even ask. the terrace view was gorgeous overlooking the main part of train market. bed was big. i thoroughly enjoyed it here.

you can hear anyone in the hallway easily even their footsteps or whispers, which was strange, but not distracting. the bathroom also had a fan that turns on with the light and it had a really nasty noise to it. but whatever, i was satisfied.
