A Delightful Stay in Hanoi My recent stay in Hanoi was an absolute pleasure. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who were always ready to assist with a smile. Their exceptional service truly made my trip memorable. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable, cozy, and provided a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's decor and amenities was evident, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's location was ideal, placing me within easy reach of Hanoi's historic Old Quarter and other popular attractions. The bustling streets, vibrant markets, and delicious street food were all just a short walk away. The culinary experience at the hotel was equally impressive. The restaurant offered a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The breakfast buffet was a delightful way to start the day, with a wide array of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes to satisfy every palate. Overall, my stay at the hotel was exceptional. The combination of friendly staff, clean accommodations, delicious food, and convenient location made it an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

everything was very well. Nothing to dislike.

I stayed at Hanoi Lion hotel for three nights and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff was very helpful and nice, and the rooms were relatively clean and comfortable. The wifi was also good, the bed was cozy and the free breakfast had many good options.

The shower didn’t drain well and caused a flood in the bathroom every time I used it. The noise from the hall and the street was very loud and disturbing. The air conditioning was controlled by the front desk, so I had to call them every time I wanted to adjust the temperature. Often they turned it to fan without telling me. I also understand that the rooms on floors 4 and below had no windows -- I wanted to move to a lower floor, but it would have felt dark and claustrophobic, almost like a prison cell. When I checked out the front desk accused me of dirtying a towel with dirt, which was false. I hesitate to recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a cheap and basic place to sleep.

Everything. The service, the beds, the cleanliness, the breakfast was AMAZING with variarions every day, noodle soup and omelette/eggs by order additional to the buffet, the location, 🔥. I would definitely stay here again. I give it a 10. We stayed at the suite with balcony.

Adding towel hooks behind the door on the brick wall would be amazing. Perfect spot for them. We never know where to hang our towels at hotels. Need better lighting on the mirror at bathroom so women can do their make up. I get the ambience light vibe but women need better light for make up application. I am being extremely picky though.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Hanoi. Hotel is centrally located to everything within walking distance in the old quarter. Hotel was beautiful and the Staff were amazing who couldn’t do enough to make our stay next level. I have stayed in many different hotels across the world but can easily say that the customer service in this hotel was the best. Justin the General manager was lovely and who arranged for a lovely surprise for our arrival as it was an anniversary. And a special mention to Kaylie who works on reception, who was so kind and thoughtful, going out of her way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable giving recommendations and local knowledge. She gave a personal touch and I think we will miss her the most.

The staff were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. The location of the hotel is perfect. The room was very comfortable and a nice size, but the walls do not have soundproofing. The hotel itself was very clean and offered spa treatments. The breakfast had lots of options too.

Its nothing bad against the hotel but The only thing was that we had a very noisy family in the 3 rooms near us that woke us up at 2am and decided to open their bedroom doors and shout to each other without consideration of other people. We had to ring the front desk as they were so loud.

First and foremost I like Ms. Kate when she started communicating to me regarding my reservation she is very professional getting responsed the questions that I need clarification and helpful. She even offer to help me to get quick visa because my sister and I are US passport when I checked the website I can apply visa on the arrival in Hanoi but apparently according to Vietnam Airline counter in the Philippine we can't fly without a visa with this issue Ms. Kate offered me that she can help us but I am already waiting for our visa to be issue. Ms. Kate is the asset to the company. The other staffs are polite, approachable and helpful all the time. Keep up the good work all of you. Thank you!

Nothing at all NO complaint

We loved the location of the property, very nearby all the touristy activities in the old town. We choose to accept the very reasonable upgrade to a room which included a street view, this was a good decision. The bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast delicious with a varied selection of food on offer. The staff were lovely, so helpful and friendly. Especially when my husband had left his backpack at a lunch room, they helped to phone and took my husband instantly to the cafe. We were so lucky it was still there and thanks to the staff helping and comforting us in this stressful situation. We would definitely return to this Hotel and recommend to others.

The hotel was a lovely oasis in the centre of Hanoi old district and close to everything. Clean, quiet, with great facilities and exceptional staff, who could not do enough to ensure your comfort. The breakfast had a wide variety of quality foods, and the restaurant dining was excellent.

We paid extra for a balcony room which the advertisement showed with 2 chairs and a small table. However, the balcony was tiny with only standing room and not sufficient for seating. In reality it was only an openable window, which, while we like that, did not represent value for the extra money we paid.

This hotel is close to lots of great restaurants and attractions tourists might want to visit. My room was cleaned daily and to a high standard. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable and the restaurant was lovely. But above all else the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, made me feel like a VIP. Due to extreme weather I arrived at the hotel early and they allowed me to check-in early for free. The reception staff even booked my taxi to the airport. If I ever come back to Hanoi I will stay here.

My only complaint is that there is little soundproofing but as long as there are considerate guests that shouldn't be a problem.

We booked this hotel for the last night prior flight home. We were looking for clean and quite room and we found it super clean with nice smell. We tried many accommodations during our vacation in Hanoi and elsewhere in Vietnam but cleanliness standards did not meet our expectations the most of the times. Definitely not a case in this hotel! Staff was very friendly, polite, professional and helpful, speaking very good English (not very common based on oour experience) Room was very clean with windows on back of the building out of busy noisy street. We asked for scooter and five minutes later it was waiting for us in front of the hotel with fuel in the tank so we could experience Hanoi traffic madness as well :) We had breakfast which was a bit better than anywhere else we stayed during our vacation. Any requests like scooter rental, extra water, late checkout or airport transfer were taken care of immediately. We also received a small present at the end which made our experience truly remarkable. Overall, we can only recommend this lovely hotel and definitely return back once in Hanoi again.

Night was nicely quiet however once cleaning starts, you can hear it- but that is in reasonable time when you should wake up anyway :)
