Location was excellent and staff were helpful and cheerful

The bar staff at the pool bar were really not engaged with customers preferring to play their choice of rap music and on their mobile or laptop for personal reasons. They need more training in making cocktails and ordering ingredients in advance as they ran out of mixes the three times we attended. We ordered Pina Coladas from their menu and there was no pineapple juice two nights in a row. During Cocktail hour the drinks are two for one but the glasses are small and not worth the money even at half price. Such a shame as the the rest of the hotel and staff are amazing

The location was perfect for exploring district 1. The staff were helpful and gave us very useful advice about the local tourist market . Breakfast was plentiful and varied - we had excellent service. It was wonderful to use the spa and have a massage in the hotel which was much nicer than some outside . The pool was clean and quiet with a great view .

Breakfast is very good for us as Asians, restaurant stuffs were very good and amicable.

washroom door wasn't properly private, the ventilation system in door is a bit weird, noise and bed smell come out while it's using by another person.

They made you pay in advance, the suggested you to pay by cash and despite it was raining, they recommended us to go to an ATM, we spend 5min searching for one. The pool doesn’t have space for “relax”.

Spotty wifi Sleepery bathroom

It´s on a busy street, but everything you need is within walking distance, plus many restaurants and even a grocery store just around the corner. The hotel has a good vibe, and I suspect it´s mainly due to the staff. All the people from the front desk guys to the cleaning ladies were really kind and attentive, thank you! Also, the breakfast is probably good enough for those who start their morning with main course meals and soups, but for the rest of you I suggest ordering a decent filled omelette from the kitchen (with a reminder to add a little salt). Internet is good and secured, the little cooler worked successfully as a fridge for me, so there was no problem. Bed was pleasantly firm, and the air cooler was efficient and could be turned to silent mode at night. The pool is small, but it is open at 6 am, so I enjoyed my early morning swimming with all the solitude, surrounded by a beautiful view on the city.

Apart from the fact that all the hotel has to cope with one elevator only, also the really steep stairs in the entrance should be taken into account, in case you happen to be elderly. Coffee was also bad. There was visible black mold on the edge of the bathtub, so I preferred to keep the bathroom door closed most of the time. And I hope the management will invest in new duvets and duvet covers to avoid the endless mess as the Velcro ties won't hold such a heavy blanket I'm afraid.

I liked the pool on the roof even thought it was a bit small.

The pool closed at 7pm, which was too early for me. The list that was read to me at the front desk upon checking in didn't state that I couldn't bring my own drink to the roof. Sadly, when I asked the bartender with glasses, I think his name was Steak, for a glass with ice for my soda, he refused, saying that he was only serving paying customers during HappyHour. I was quite surprised as the glass and the ice didn't cost him anything. But, had he been cordial and said: We don't usually do this, but I'll make an exception for you, I would have ordered a drink when I finished my work (I had my laptop). As a result, I went to a hotel down the street for drinks afterward.

Great location. Clean. Breakfast buffet was good and slightly changed daily offering a bit of variety.

The pool area was small and although it was still nice, it was very hard to enjoy due to no shade option whatsoever. Everyone that went there for the first time was a bit disappointed and you couldn’t just chill by the pool for very long without shade. The only other main thing was the shower drained extremely slow. Without exaggeration, if your showers lasts more than 60 seconds, be careful to not flood the whole bathroom floor. Good luck if it was hair washing day. Water on, wet hair, water off, shampoo, water on, rinse, water off, conditioner, water on, rinse, water off, wait to drain, water on, final rinse. Bit of a pain.

Thankyou to all the staff at Paradise Saigon especially the lovely , friendly girls at reception. We enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be central and in a good location. Very close to the market , cafe's and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of options both Asian and western. The breakfast staff were also very helpful .

The complimentary afternoon tea was a bit hit and miss. Sometimes good with a selection of cakes and at other times fairly basic with just fruit and a couple of pastries. Please invest in more teabags as 1 is not enough in the pot for 3 people!
