We were very impressed by this hotel, which makes great use of what appears to be a quirky layout. The restaurant facilities sprawl across the main entrance floor, with multiple serving stations operating for breakfast and spaces ranging from a formal dining atmosphere to a quick snack location for those looking to make a swift exit. The clientele was very mixed with many Vietnamese guests alongside tourists from many countries. Everyone could find something to suit, but the ubiquitous noodle soup / Pho options had a wide fan base. The rooftop pool and bar area was made all the better because the hotel gave guests discount tickets for each day.

As with everywhere in HCMC, the traffic outside the hotel was never-ending, with streams of motorbikes weaving in and out of cars, lorries and buses from early morning to late at night. In compensation, it was fascinating to watch!!

We loved this place. So many good things. Firstly, the pool on the roof was great and a saviour at the end of the day when you're hot and had a big day. The pool bar is also lovely to hang around. It's a bit more expensive than the city, but not too much more. The two free drink vouchers for the bar were also great. Location was ideal. It was a short walk to the markets. You could walk 15-20 mins to the war Remnants Museum (which was important to see) and an easy walk to most places. It was also on a slightly quieter street so not too much noise. You could still hear some beeping from the bikes and cars downstairs, but I think that's everywhere in Saigon. Other people talked about the entrances being confusing, but I don't really agree as I found it pretty simple. The reason it's a little confusing is that it's three building joined into one at the bottom and top. So there are three entrances. It's not a major problem as it's simple enough to walk through to the other area. The roofs were are good size and extremely clean and comfortable. The beds were good and the hot water from the taps was great. The view isn't super special from our bedroom, but it was nice to have some view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was greatand and plentiful. We got a free dinner voucher but that might have been because we stayed 5 nights. Overall we loved it. It's very fancy but not a 7 star hotel, so if you want ultra fancy then it's not at that standard. If you want a beautiful, clean and high standard hotel, then I highly recommend!

The property got a lot of things right. The pool and bar were great. The vouchers we got for a drink each for every night we stayed and the voucher for food was great too. The food was very good.

The hotel seemed to have a chip on its shoulder- contracts and rules. Deposit on arrival, we didn’t pay it as I pointed out it’s not in the booking.com hotel policies and they wanted it in cash and we didn’t have the cash on us at the time. I accidentally booked a room without a window and we didn’t like it one bit. I don’t think it was great value for money, the service didn’t live up to the price. Staff did not seem friendly and welcoming.

Friendly helpful staff. Quiet room with comfy bed and seriously good pillows. Great rooftop pool and bar areas and spa massage treatments. Great value and will be back to Alagon soon.

I wasn't able to stream Kayo sports online to watch the cricket T20 World Cup but I was too busy anyway. Wifi otherwise reliable.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere in the lobby and restaurant areas. Breakfast was great with large selection. Room was nice despite lacking window. Free cocktail and snack (chips/fries) each evening at the rooftop bar was a lovely touch. The massages in the spa were also great and reasonably priced.

Room had no window and when we asked to upgrade at the cost visible online, we were quoted three times the price which felt unfair. Thin walls between rooms, woke up to neighbours talking and using shower etc. during night. Use of vouchers to have breakfast felt unnecessary, we had to go back to our room to find the correctly dated one which wasted time - suggest just take room numbers like most hotels.

the food was lovely, got breakfast which there was a huge selection and didn't realise that I also got a free lunch which was absolutely lovely, spring rolls, soup, rice with stir fry beef with green vegetables with garlic and a yoghurt to finish. Also got a free drink with lunch and a free drinks on the rooftop terrace. There was also a band playing music who were really good on the evening so stayed tk have extra drinks.

the bathroom needed a little updating and there was no hot water

Great breakfast and great amenities. Convenient location. Junior suites were a great size. Friendly staff. Some rooms had 2 bathrooms which was a plus for our big group.

Despite being in Vietnam, there was hardly any written Vietnamese signage. There was no Viet in the elevator signs or at breakfast for the food labels. Half of our group didn't know or spoke English and felt uncomfortable navigating the hotel and breakfast. I understand this is located in a touristy area of Saigon but Vietnamese nationals can be tourists in their own country too. There are multiple elevators and towers which was confusing for our big party (11 people across 5 rooms). More instructions on how to get around inside the building would have been nice or a map of the building. Hot tub wasn't "hot". It was fine but more of a warm tub.

The room was spotless, and the bed was comfy with high-quality bedding. The staff was friendly and helpful. I checked in early, the room wasn't ready, but Thuy Tien (the receptionist) told me that I could use the pool/sauna/jacuzzi on the rooftop while waiting, and I had a great time there. The breakfast buffet was good. The rooftop bar had a great view. Quang Dung (restaurant/bar staff) was sooo enthusiastic and helpful!!! And I had the best body massage ever in the spa by Ms. Loan. There were so many vouchers I got with the room as well. Thank you. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

The hotel is very nice. Quite expensive for Vietnam but upmarket. The pool area is lovely, especially the rooftop Japanese garden. Breakfast is awesome.

We had a few issues with the tv remote. We couldn't adjust the tv volume. But to be fare, we didn't bother asking for help. More drinking water in the room would be good and perhaps they could have turned the fridge on before we arrived so we had cold water. It's very hot in Saigon!!

Location is best in centre of city near benh tanh Market and othe shoping area. Food options available nearby including vegetarian restaurant and Indian food at walking distance. But staff not cooperating with tourist looking arrogant. Otherwise good stay. Rooms smaller without windows and gallary. All in all good to stay in city centre Thanks Kandarp Ahmedabad India
