It’s not just a hostel but a resort for young people, having everything like gym, spa, pool, restaurant/bar, games etc. It’s a bit on the expensive side for Vietnam hostels, but the room was really nice, spacious and clean, with coffee/tea and toiletries included like in a hotel, the breakfast was really good and even using bikes was included so I’d say it’s good value for money. This hostel is truly social, encouraging everyone to mingle at the bar over free beer and fun games. Didn’t even matter that the free beer is quite watered down, it’s still good way to gather people together and you can buy actually good beer at the hostel bar. This makes it an excellent place for anyone who wants to meet other travelers.

The music is super loud, especially on the nights with a dj it was too loud to even have a chat at the bar. They do close the hostel bar at 23:30 and offer free transfer to the city centre bars, which is a clever way to ensure that the hostel actually quiets down for the night, but don’t think of getting sleep before that.

Very soft mattress with noiseless bed & fan.The Dorm. 212 was perfectly arranged & provided with bath tub & separate dressing room. All the facilities are just wonderful & not less than a 5* Hotel. Very good breakfast with lots of Varieties and nice sitting arrangement on 5th floor.Hats off to house keeping,reception, and cooking staff for keeping such a large property perfectly clean all the time as well as quick check in/ out and serving quality food. Strongly recommended for all the "Hoi an travellers" to book "iHome"without any hesitation.The Management is doing charitable work.

Everything is perfect, therefore can't find any fault. Question does not arise for dislikes.

We are two men of a certain age, the staff were surprised when we booked in and warned us that the evenings could be " a little noisy". The hotel is firmly targeting young backpackers, and provides a all the beer you can drink hour, as well as other assorted activities aimed at young people. We loved the energy of the place, the noise stopped dead at 11.30pm, and the young clients respected the curfew. The staff were incredibly helpful and lovely. The buffet breakfast was large and excellent, the cafe did great coconut coffee, and the swimming pool was clean and inviting. Our room was comfy and clean, the cleaners were funny and efficient, everything you need in a modern hotel room. We also booked trips and taxis with the hotel which were excellent value. All in all an lovely hotel, we enjoyed our stay enormously, and would definitely recommend ( whatever age you are!)

Toilet had a slightly weird smell! not a problem though.

This is one of the nicest hostels I have seen. The balcony deluxe room was gorgeous, we had a whole wrap around balcony and the room was huge and nicely decorated with lanterns and a mural. We didn’t partake in too many activities but there is a lively community vibe, especially for younger travelers. Ten minute walk to the old town. Free bike rentals are a plus!

Breakfast is almost exactly the same every day but it is still good (and free!) Free beer is not very good but it’s free beer so can’t really complain. The front desk staff was not super friendly when we were checking in, but after that every one seemed nice.

Lovely stay! It was very clean, in a nice area and the staff was phenomenal. Great breakfast too!

This is one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had and I stayed in many. Can’t recommend this please enough! Everything was fantastic: - Great location - Good buffet breakfast with hot meals, eggs, noodles, cold cuts, salads, sweets - WiFi worked great on entire property (good enough for streaming and video calls) - Pool and gym - Free towels - Very kind and helpful staff - Big lockers in the room, electric sockets next to bed, curtains on beds, bathroom inside the room - Everything clean - Can leave your stuff for free before check-in/after check out - Extremely cheap

It's a nice hotel with excellent staff. There were lots of good touches, such as free bicycles, and when it rained, free umbrellas. I had a 250,000 dong massage in the hotel. It was the best massage I have had so far in Vietnam. When we arrived at 6am we were given towels for a shower in a bathroom off the pool area, even though check-in wasn't officially for another eight hours. They allowed us into our room as soon as it was ready. The sign of good service is dealing with problems when they arise. We had a plumbing problem in our bathroom and the staff immediately offered to move us. It was the last night and we didn't have the energy to move. So they gave us a key to a second room so we could shower in there. The Vietnamese style buffet breakfasts were great. We were very happy with how it was handled. The only downside for me were the self absorbed backpackers.

Our shower head is directed in an awkward and uncomfortable way. Hated to take a shower. The bathroom wall was peeling a lot. Daycare was in front of our room and kids were loud woke us up early. Didn't have a table in our room that was huge. Balcony looked at the back of building that was very close. Breakfast so so. Hot coffee most of time luke warm. Property maintance should be better

The overall vibe of the hotel was amazing, breakfast that was included in the price was so nice as well. It’s really chilled so you can relax around the pool or play a few games at the pool bar. But it’s also just a 10 minute walk into ancient town if you want to explore so it’s the best of both worlds really. The hotel staff are so lovely, really informative and helpful with booking tours and taxis and also recommending good places to eat and get clothes made. They were all really welcoming.

The only minor thing that could be improved was the shower in our room, it wasn’t very powerful so it made showering a bit harder and the curtain was a bit dirty.

I was very pleased with my stay at iHome. Some highlights that stuck out to me was the pool area (it was outdoors and nice and the water wasn't even warm on a hot summer day), the free bicycle rental, the complimentary breakfast which was delicious, filling, and healthy, the fitness center (not air conditioned so hot, but also it got the job done) and the nicely air conditioned room (I wore long sweatpants at night since I even felt cold, which I was excited about with the super hot weather outside). I think there is so much you get from your stay, making it worth what you pay. If you try hard (like I did), you can definitely find other places to stay that are nice and cheaper, but with the combination of all this place gives and for the price it's at, I think it's the best bank for you buck.

I can't even say I disliked this per say, but one thing that would have made my stay even better would be having free drinking water for the guests. They had free drinking water in the morning at breakfast, so I normally filled up my big water then, but could not find any throughout the day. Besides that, I loved my stay!
