We were the group of 9 people for 9 days on FIBO exhibition so I can tell a lot about hotel. the obvious things are that hotel is brand new, with a lot of style, You just feel very good in those interiors. at first I thought it is more for young people, as the first day we came I felt a bit like in student house but in the good meaning of course, there was lot of young smiling people ( in neighborhood there was some concert at that day). The next day I saw a lot of business guests as well and even older people so whenever you wonder if this profile of hotel is suitable for you the answer is YES, all kind and all types of guest will feel comfortable in Moxy not only young people. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there is a bar open 24h where in case you can order even some pizzas at night so it is great. In same building next door there is high quality burgers restaurant, and just the next building 50 meters of walk there are stylish and tasty Asian and Italian restaurants with reasonable prices. we were 2 time each restaurant on business dinner. for me it was really helpful we did no need to take taxi after the whole day of hard work. the rooms with super comfortable bed all brand new.... THE BEST AND MOST IMPORTANT I left for the end. SUPER FIRENDLY AND SUPER HELPFULL Anna – front desk supervisor. That girl made our stay exceptional. I travel a lot and I never met so helpful person in any hotel. Gold medal for her. Starting from registration, rebooking, payments she helped me with that all. She helped us event with parking space outside the hotel as we had 3 bigger trucks. She took care of us for the whole period of time we were there. Basically the hotel motto is that client need to relax and do not worry about anything, they solve all your problems. I love the idea and for sure for next year we will come back to Moxy Mulheim – so good memories.

the breakfest was just OK, It is not that we did not like it but after one week a bit monotiniuous I would call it just a good standard but nothing else. there is no prosseco for braekfest if you now what I mean :)

purity the receptionist was super nice and very helpful. Almir’s was not helpful and quite honestly rude.

you have to ask on check in - fir your room to be cleaned. if you do not - you will return to an unmade room and wet towels. Then as I had to you come down in you pjs to ask for dry towels. Almir’s told me it’s written in the lift. Apparently it is to “save to save the environment “ But clearly it’s ok to have hundreds of lights on throughout the hotel! Work that out!!!

We really liked the modern environment, the reception and the relaxation area with very comfortable and nice tables and sofas also equipped with entertainment such as table football or board games. The hotel also provides a new small but well-stocked gym. The very spacious rooms, tastefully furnished, are well soundproofed and clean with super comfortable beds. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, they also offer a varied breakfast at a fair price, everything was perfect... we had a great weekend! p.s. there is also the opportunity to park in their internal parking if there is space.

at that moment there were works around the nearest tram stop and works on the same line that leads to the centre, it was the only flaw, wasting time getting to and from the centre. Hope everything is fixed next time we visit

Great location for The Palladium (and Ewerk) - just a short walk away. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely bar area with a huge table. Would highy recommend it for anyone attending events at Ewerk or the Palladium.

Limited parking at the hotel and we ended up paying 40 Euros for parking overnight in the IC multistorey carpark up the road (where the Moxy receptionist suggested we park). Large queues at the bar in the evening. It seems that they hadn't expected audiences from Ewerk & the Palladium to come out at the same time and there were not enough bar staff to cope with the number of people who wanted a bit of an after party.

The location was excellent. Especially for E-Werk and The Palladium. The Hotel is very modern to the point of being Business/Student like. All trimmings and furniture are very stylish and up to date. Parking is easy but spaces are limited.

The Hotel had guests primarily there for a concert at the Palladium. After the concert in the Hotel many people were waiting for a drink. The procedure for getting a drink was really strange. Wait in a queue, a line, order a drink (cocktails took even longer). They should have had more staff serving. The breakfast is expensive for a continental breakfast 15 Euro a head. parking is 18 Euro a day, which considering it's a Hotel car park is very expensive.

The location of the hotel was absolutely amazing, the staff was polite, helpful and was absolutely exceptional. They spoke perfect English and German. If I needed any help with something regarding my room or experience, they were able to assist me swiftly and even exceed my expectations. The room was calm and soundproof.

There wasn't much I didn't like - the experience was great and I would recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Cologne. I could name a few minor pet peeves, but nothing major. For example; The shower wasn't necessarily optimal - it was almost flat on the floor and the water would flow out of the shower and into the bathroom a little, but nothing a towel couldn't stop. The shower head couldn't be moved much, either and the air conditioning was acceptable, but not quite perfect. If anything, the windows can be opened and paired with the A/C, it works just as well if you really want to cool your room quickly and efficiently. Aside from that, everything else was absolutely perfect. The room and sheets were clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing.

It’s looking pretty (to read as - crazy Instagrammable) and it’s clean. The coffee on the bar is good.

You won’t be prepared for the fact that 50 Euro / per night will be charged directly to your card on top of your reservation. It’s a deposit for consumption of the bar. Nobody gives you that information in advance even when checking in. They should be reimbursed (if not used) one week after checking out - still waiting on that reimbursement. And that’s on top of some super fishy messages that I’ve received in the app, in the comm with this property less than two days before my reservation that “I have to give my credit card details again in order for my booking to be “reconfirmed”. Which were (not so) clearly a scam. And the communication with their team was slow and not on time for this kind of situation which was super stressful.

Nice hotel and a cool new location

Location was great, rooms and public areas suitably funky, friendly staff, relatively painless checking in & out...however!

Sadly, the 'Open Bar' was a complete disaster last night. Having just one person to deal with people checking in, people wanting to pay for food & people looking for a drink didn't work. A lot of last night's guests had been to a nearby concert, so you'd have thought the Moxy Team would have 'staffed up' accordingly for the post-gig 'rush' at about 23.00hrs. Sadly, they didn't. The irony was, up until 22.30hrs, when the bar was pretty much empty, there were 3 staff behind the counter! The one barman/receptionist simply could not cope when 20+ people turned up at once, Waited 20 minutes to get served, despite being one of the first people back to the hotel, then gave up & went out to find a local 'kiosk'. A shame, everything else was pretty much on point!

I was in Shock when I entered the room. I only knew how their suits look like because of my uncle visiting family and he always chose the Moxy hotel. Now I know why. The whole room was so neat and clean, the beds were big and comfortable, I slept like a rock. The bathroom was clean and spacious, amazing lighting to do your makeup. There were more than enough outlets for everyone and something I’ve never seen before - outlets that had sockets for the usb cable and the usb-c type of cable. They really made sure everyone could charge everything everywhere. I did not get the chance to taste the food but I can’t imagine it could be bad when the hotel exceeds in every other aspect.

Maybe that we only had one trash bin in the bathroom and none in the actual room but that is simply being nit picky right now. I really can’t find anything bad to say.
