Cleanliness as well as a good price.

The elevator was hard to manage at times. It was one of those old fashioned ones you see in black and white movies. The stairway before you get to the front door would be hard for some. The gentleman was helpful as well as the staff. The room was small but, had what we needed. Stayed for a week at a reasonable price. A great coffee shop across the street, bodega and bar walking distance from the place. Parking was in the garage a block away that cost us an extra $50.00 per night.

Good for the price, the staff its very kind and helpful, very comfortable room, clean and cozy, its small but enough space for one or 2 peoples, the facility looks old but everything works good. Its a grocery store & laundry next to the building and this is so helpful.

I stayed there 3 nights and I hadn't clean room service, I requested 2 times for a clean and dry towels and I put my trash outside because they never went to my room to clean or change sheets.

The location is great in the sense it is close to the city center where I had to go. The staff is helpful. It is also fairly quite, and has a convenient store right down the stairs. The WIFI works well and the room was fairly clean.

The neighborhood is what it is, as many other comments have noted, i.e. a run-down neighborhood with homeless people and fairly dirty streets.

Truly, not liked, but loved the property. The only thing preventing a Mithila Hotel stay till this day, and I believe the feeling is mutual, THE STAFF. Through my any years of travel I conclude that Patel ( Patel Hotel in India culture ) need to have someone like ME or teach them about ME and other of my culture. The negative INITIAL INTERACTION is no coincidence when this accursed time after, and time and time again. Thank for asking. -LVIII

The property was clean and organized, there is an elevator which is nice for when you bring luggage, the staff was nice and answered all of my questions in time, the room was clean and spacious, for the price it was amazing.

The shower can be a little problematic with the water pressure but otherwise it is great

I love staying in Nob Hill. It was easy to get to the BART and Muni and there's so much within walking distance, too. The staff were very friendly and the room was small but very clean and comfortable. It's so nice to have a fridge, microwave, desk and coffee maker in the room. I was right by the elevator so there was a little noise but I just put on some white noise and I was fine. I'd definitely stay here again.

The common area is a little run down but the room was impeccably clean so it was fine.

Nice and simple. Owner/staff wonderful. WiFi tv and fridge and microwave. Comfortable bed. Nice hot shower. Owner kind and helpful. Arranged my taxi for the airport without any difficulty, and it was excellent! So thank you! Hotel close to lots of places to eat and some great pubs. Especially the nearby Aces bar!

Room was very clean. It looked renovated well. Comfortable bed. Location is in the south side of Nob Hill neighborhood and it's perfect to walk or take subway or tram. all stuff I talked were kind and friendly.

I notice a little smell, maybe from old carpet in the hallway. I understand because of a historical building. Inside the room has no such smell.

The property initially seems a bit old, which might make you expect a bad stay. However, the room was incredibly clean! I loved how spotless it was!

The disadvantage is that it is located five blocks away from Tenderloin Street, where the homeless stay. But it’s okay because there’s not a lot near the hotel. Just expect a little bit of noise from people walking on the street.

Both management and housekeeping were very responsive for any needs that came up. This is an older, gracious hotel that is well-maintained.
