It's a bit on the pricey side but the location is just perfect. We had a room with an amazing View of the Skyscrapers at night. The Room was Big and very modern. Very clean.

almost 400$ a night for two Queensize but to be fair, it was in the middle of San Francisco on a nice location. No free parking, Valet parking is 70$/night.

Great location next to Union Square, very close to the shopping mall and many fashion stores. Modern rooms, well equipped - for the first time in my life it was a pleasure to use the ironing system in the hotel. They takes care about little details like perfect room cleaning, refueling cosmetics or coffee in the room. Frederick's, place where breakfasts are served is exceptional! Very short menu but with great food, my strong recommendation is California style omelet. Very friendly stuff on all level from receptionists, baristas and cleaning room service. For sure the best hotel which I visited in SFO!

Staff was super friendly. One of our friends forgot a toothbrush and we requested one and they brought it up no problem. Also asked for ice and that was delivered to us. Room was spacious with a nice view and very clean.

The parking situation but thats expected in SF.

Staff were great but not as incredibly friendly as in other hotels I’ve stayed recently. And I thought it was weird they said they could only gift us a couple of bottles of water. At other stays of similar pricing we’ve gotten unlimited free water, a pretty cool perk while traveling. But not sure if this is not the norm across hotels.

I've stayed at numerous Union Square hotels in the last 15 years and this is by far the best for that budget. Recently renovated, the rooms are bright, quiet, large and with all modern comfort. The lobby and bar area are gorgeous. The 3 elevators ensure you never wait more than 30 seconds to get to or from your room. The staff is helpful and nice, and there is a breakfast restaurant within the building.

The breakfast restaurant prices are clearly inflated knowing that many hotel packages include some coupons. It's convenient, but there are better options on Geary or on Mason.

The rooms were comfortable and newly furnished. The bed was nice. One of the rooms had a nice bath robe. The location was good.

The staff was not too nice. The service was so so. We upgraded to the Junior Executive (paying + usd 70) to have the extra bed from the sofa bed in the living room, and they wouldn’t do that bed every morning. Just the king bed. When I asked them to do it, they said that the sofa bed was not included. That was weird.

Clean and spacious room in a convenient location (5 mins walk to market street / Powell street where two of the cable car turntables and major tram lines pass through) - the check-in staff clearly warned us to stay away from the ‘Tenderloin’ district as this was not suitable for tourists. We never felt unsafe during our whole stay. Excellent front of house and bar staff - bar was amazing with attentive service and occasional live music

The breakfast served at the hotel restaurant was good but I find the servers (particularly the same bloke who manned the till) very abrupt, condescending and borderline rude. We stayed for four nights and not once were we greeted when we arrived in the breakfast room each day.. any questions about the items on the menu (we are tourists after all) were met with snappy and impatient responses served with big dose of unsavoury attitude. I am not sure as to why the behaviour of the servers at breakfast are in such contrast to the other wonderful and friendly staff in the hotel..

Location was awesome for urban experience in downtown San Francisco! Walkable for so many different destinations in the city. Convenient to public transportation. Ridiculously comfortable beds! Spotlessly clean throughout. Front desk staff super helpful and friendly.

Arriving late at night from the airport and finding where to stop for the valet was troublesome. The sign, although stylish, was extremely small and dimly on such a lively street.

It is centrally positioned hotel. The room was very nice and spacious. The bar within the hotel servers excellent breakfast. The staff was great, especially the concierge, Steve, who went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. With his suggestions regarding the restaurants and places to visit ( not only in SF but also in Napa and Monterey) he really helped us in having a wonderful time! Thank you Steve!
