The reception staff I interacted with on arrival, greeted me with a friendly, respectful and engaging smile. I waited 30 minites before I was told my room was ready; but I learnt later it was ready long before 3pm! - Why do hotels continue this mean customer practice and deception !! My room -613- was worth paying an extra £4 for the quiteness and end of corridor position. I had good views towards the east of East Croydon station and Crystal Palace areas. The settee in the room was a bit grubby, but the bed and pillows were comfortable/clean. The tv channels were easy to nagivate with the remote control. The bathroom towels and general upkeep was good, except for small pokets of accumulated rust in the shower door hinges. My 3rd stay. Overall, it was comfortable. I would stay again because of the location, easy access to East Croydon rail station, car pay parking facility opposite, plus 10 minutes walk to the main shopping streets....and 15 minutes walk to West Croydon rail station and many bus routes.

Tables and chairs in the communal lounge are dated and needs cleaning or upgrading. Windows in rooms need cleaning. No small fridge in the room to keep things like dietary food/medicines cool. This is 2025, not the 1980s!

The entire experience was top-notch, from the beautiful, well-maintained rooms to the impeccable amenities. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Manoj, in particular, made my stay even more special. His kindness and professionalism were beyond impressive. He was always ready to help, whether it was with a quick question or arranging something more personal. His attention to detail and genuine care made me feel like a VIP throughout my entire visit. I highly recommend this hotel, not only for its fantastic facilities but also for the incredible staff like Manoj, who truly elevate the experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Pleasant staff. Breakfast was very good, staples but also varied and allowances made for vegans. The staff were pleasant especially the breakfast staff, Manos was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure that we were happy and had everything we needed, also the lady waitress who was on most days was helpful ensuring we had everything we need. Comfortable bed, clean room, good location.

Room was a bit small, ok for a night or two but if you had a reasonable amount of luggage a bit tight, also one side of the bed was narrow.

Location and proximity to East Croydon train station was very good. Efficient check in with France - all my questions were answered, For the first time in my life I received text messages from Garima checking how our room was and highlighting if I needed anything to let it be known. Our room was spotlessly clean and we extend a massive thank you to Daniela. I Space was well utilised - area to hang our coats which was a clever use of wall space. The decor was tasteful and we could navigate the space well due to the layout. Manoj was an absolute superstar. From an initial conversation during breakfast, he could not do enough for us. F Breakfast was good and even though very busy, there was hardly any wait time. Staff take pride in their work and it was evident that they enjoy working here.

Nothing - we needed a longer stay

Garima was an amazing help from the first point of check in til the day we left. She helped us call and book a cab on our exit. She was so patient with us on checking in when it seemed like we were having some issues with our card and our luggage. She was so cheerful and caring and checking in whenever we passed the reception to know if we needed anything. The breakfast was amazing and something I always looked forward to. We had Manoj always on standby to assist us with anything we needed. I in particular loved the waffles, I had like 2 or 3 waffles every morning because of how amazing they were and Manoj would always opt to have it ready for me when I came down in the morning. I also loved the bacon which was of very high quality. I could tell cause of how soft and juicy it was. I also loved the fact that it was close to the train station and 2 bus stops. Less than 5 minutes away too from the train. It was so convenient when we had to move around. I love the ambience. I also made use of the gym. The equipment were not a lot but I love the mirror and the personalized space. I worked out a lot. It was so accessible and the towels.

We walked into reception and were welcomed by a warm reception staff. The ambience was generally ok and our room was very clean. The biggest driver for my positive review is the experience at breakfast, the staff (Manoj and Rita) were exceptional! They made sure we had all we needed and more. Rita encouraged us to try their waffle which she went and made for us, brought it to our table and engaged us in a chat.....which we really enjoyed. The waffle was amazing.......Rita would not give the recipe away though, she said it was their chef's. Manoj came to our table and asked if we would like some juice, he went and brought the drinks........the sheer willingness to go the extra mile was palpable. Now this is a "serve yourself" buffet set up, the staff didn't need to wait on us but these guys went the distance, the smiles, the warmth.........our day could have started better. All in all, a great experience for not a lot of money. Thanks guys.

hmm.....a difficult one. Ok, I wish the shower head was bigger and higher up. I struggled to get under the shower and I am only 5'10.

Everything was amazing But the best part was the breakfast..amazing,full of options and the waffles are delicious A big thank you to Manoj and Garima,(Hoping I wrote the name right) Manoj was amazing during breakfast,always polite and ready to give us a wonderful experience Garima at the reception always with a smile ready to make you comfortable during your stay A very amazing team!!! Room is big and you have your own bathroom,with soap and body cream(amazing),there is a hairdryer and the hotel is very quiet..we had a wonderful stay

The only thing was that they left our room window open the first day before the check in and when we came back was freezing,but they fixed straight away giving us a heather and the situation was fixed very fast..

Nothing, Although new towels I find should be provided in every hotel, daily, This is not a reflection on this hotel. As it was amazing in every way. Would Simply just love for all hotels to provide new fresh clean towels daily, So would be wonderful if the Hampton did this before other hotels as it would add even more value to this hotel. Even if staff where to knock on the door or place on a mat outside the door each morning if not to disturb consumers.

The location was 5 min walk from East Croydon Station which was perfect for our visit. Price included breakfast which consisted of full English options, continental, toast, cereal, fruit,yogurt and coffee machines. All was hot and replenish during our visit. Room bit small but ok for double. Bed and pillows ok but could have been more comfortable. Room and bathroom clean. France on reception was lovely and very helpful. She was on duty during our visit and always had a smile and checked we were ok. Other staff were pleasant and friendly. Car park available opposite hotel. A local supermarket within walking distance. Small bar, Bigbox eatery and Nandos all 5 min walk away. Free WiFi which was good and available in room. A lovely couple nights stay at Hampton by Hilton

Pillows not comfy. Breakfast area can get crowded if you go down later.

The staff are amazing!! The front desk was very supportive. France (front desk assistant) was amazing at answering my questions and helping me sort out any obstacles. She was so kind! Manoj was a great guy, too. He was so helpful! He went full dad mode on my way out. He was concerned that I had breakfast and coffee before I left. Very much a family vibe. This hotel was very clean and the support staff were so kind and sociable when moving around the building. Everyone had a smile, and it seemed like those who worked their both took pride in the space and truly enjoyed connecting with guests. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to london. Close to the train but also surrounded by lots of food options. The breakfast at the hotel is also very good. They had a little of everything, so it didn't seem like you had to eat the same thing every morning.

Honestly, I can't say much I didn't like. Overall, it was a really good experience.
