Room styling? Shower it amazing, Bed is super comfy

The parking there's no parking and cost $50 to park your car makes the price of your stay very expensive and we waited 35mins for someone to bring our car out this morning

Central location, friendly staff, clean hotel on the newer side. Free films, comfortable bed, great aircon. They will also lend you umbrellas if you ask the front desk.

$50 valet parking plus an extra $10 to charge EV even though we brought our own charger and there was free nearby charging stations. To park the car for the valet drivers, there was no space outside of the hotel so we had to loop around a few times. Instructions could be clearer on the process and charges. There was also no space on our first night so we parked on the street. We were also charged twice on my credit card for the parking and breakfast, even though we didn't have breakfast at the hotel. I called later and the duplicate charges were reversed. King room on the smaller side and they did not tidy it on the 2nd day so we called to request more coffee, loo roll and towels.

Tiny issues; If you have mobility issues Definitely book underground parking, there was an option of parking at nearby parking station which was a 5 min walk. Missed email that informed us of parking, so keep an eye out for that. Didn’t see how to opt out of housekeeping until too late (some hotels have something you hang on door) - if being eco friendly is important to you.

Beautiful hotel with great customer service in a good location. Check in was seamless the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. We went to the 9th floor for Cocktails in the evening one little miss with the margarita which was fixed with no fuss and onto a couple of amazing signature cocktails, do yourself a favour and have a smoked old fashion (wildfire) my wife was super impressed and the Amandarlin was impressive, if you pre order breakfast when you arrive you will get a great discount which is good value for a quality breakfast...cant wait for our next visit thanks to all the staff.

Nicely designed room, comfortable bed and pillows. I had room service dinner and breakfast, both of which were pretty good. They were nice enough to give me a toothbrush when I realised I had forgotten mine. Nicely stocked mini-bar.

Everything is done on an iPad and it didn't work at first (tabs were greyed out and couldn't be tapped) and no one answered the phone when I called guest services, so I had to go down to reception to ask them to fix it. When I ordered dinner there was no option to say how I wanted my steak cooked and it arrived a bit overdone. It would have been nice to have some salt and pepper on the tray. These are fairly minor issues though.

It was really clean and could tell that it was a class above the rest in the area. Whilst I understand Newcastle city isn’t a huge place it’s important to me to find a slightly more up market accommodation, Crystalbrook was exactly that.

I felt the valet parking for the area was a little steep at $50. You’ve got major chains like Sofitel and Hilton charging $75 for valet parking in major cities like Sydney and Melbourne. So, in comparison a little high. The second thing I wasn’t a fan of was the water pressure in the shower. I think these are basic things that any hotel should be able to get right. Although it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

I recently stayed at Crystalbrook Kingsley in Newcastle and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel's modern and stylish design creates a luxurious atmosphere. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a fantastic view of the city. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar and restaurant, which provided stunning views of the coastline and a great spot for dining and socializing. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening. I also appreciated the hotel's commitment to sustainability, with eco-friendly practices and locally sourced materials evident throughout. The central location made it easy to explore Newcastle's attractions, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience.

While my stay at Crystalbrook Kingsley in Newcastle was mostly excellent, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The Wi-Fi connection in my room was occasionally spotty, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the parking situation was somewhat limited and could be improved for guests with cars. Lastly, while the rooftop restaurant was fantastic, it was quite busy at peak times, making it a bit challenging to get a table without a reservation. Despite these minor issues, my overall experience was very positive.

The room was lovely after we requested to change rooms. When we arrived without being notified, we were given a wheelchair access room, no idea why? I paid $320 for one night and I wasn't impressed with a room where the vanity was as soon as you walk in the door and the shower and toilet were all in an open wet room type area. I understand this is required if you are wheelchair bound but we are not so it was very underwhelming. I then realised that there was no where for me to hang the dresses I took with me. Again due to it being a wheelchair accessible room, the only hanging space was low down and wouldn't even accommodate on of my husband's shirts lengthways. I wanted it to be special for my husband's birthday and it definitely didn't feel special!!! But I must say a huge THANKYOU to Josh the manager on duty who changed us to a room on the 2nd floor which was absolutely beautiful. All newly renovated and very well appointed. There was a coffee pod machine which was great but the only very small complaint I have is that they could provide some instant coffee sachets as well, as not everyone drinks pod coffee.

The Bar ‘Rombergs’ is a disgrace to hospitality. I don’t want to generalise the staffing as a whole, however the wait staff serving us didn’t seem to know what was going on and included us in a conversation with another couple that was sitting on the table we’d reserved, he almost ran into another waiter and swore loudly, the couple received their bill and it was wrong and while that was happening another lady stopped to tell me what a complete shemozzle her experience was. it was a long 15 mins between arriving at our reservation time and being seated.

Very modern looking, comfortable beds, great staff , great position to most things in area.

Couldn’t pay by cash had to put on credit card , then the charge fee for same. Charge for parking in own carpark. Have to wait up to week for your refund that you put down($100) for extras which we didn’t use, most hotels take this off as soon as you check out . Feel like they are trying hard to get money from you at all angles which is sad as you want your stay to be pleasant .
