Location, location, location! Spacious apartments and nicely fitted out. Comfortable beds and despite the location it was restful sleep & not too noisy. Secure parking for our hire car. Very adequate kitchen, fridge, microwave and great laundry facilities in room. Bathroom was small but great showers, hot and strong pressure.

The $25 charge each day for parking! Too expensive especially because the cost for 8 nights accommodation was not cheap. Our biggest complaint was our original apartment was large, nicely fitted out but stank! It was overwhelming, smelt like curry or Indian food and permeated the whole room & out into the passage. We were offered a can of air freshener & very rudely asked what else we wanted!

Staff were very friendly. Location was good (for us at least) only about a 10 minute walk to the Civic Theatre, and right by a light rail line (we never noticed the noise from the rail). A few decent places to eat which were fairly close. Parking was good (although cost extra) & the water views were excellent. Kitchen was quite well kitted out with everything we needed for our 2 nights stay. Beds were comfortable. The bedside lights with the built-in wireless charging were very handy. Main TV with Netflix and YouTube was a nice touch. Having the little laundry is handy for longer stays, although we didn't use it.

I was expecting something a little larger for over $650/night. There was no wardrobe or drawers in the main bedroom. The main bedroom was only a Queen size bed, not a King. The air conditioning was really noisy! TV in the 2nd bedroom didn't have access to Netflix. When the wind was blowing there was a noticeable whistling/howling from the balcony door in the 2nd bedroom.

The 1 br apartment was very modern and clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The kitchen & washing facilities in the apartment were good. The hotel is in a great location close to shops, restaurants, coffee and the river walk up to Nobby's Head. The view from the balcony looked straight out to the river and the cargo ships being escorted in and out of the Newcastle harbour, the largest harbour on the east coast of Australia handling over 2,200 cargo ships a year. The heritage railway precinct was right in front of the hotel. The amount of redevelopment going on in East Newcastle is unbelievable. It is a modern city with top restaurants and bars and one we will definitely visit again. We can highly recommend the Terminous Boutique Apartments.

I stayed two nights as part of my wedding accommodation, the first night with my bridesmaids and the second with my husband. The staff generously set up a gift (chocolates and a bottle of wine) as well as a beautiful note wishing us well on our wedding day, it was so lovely! The room was spacious, both bathrooms were generously sized too and a family of four could have comfortably fit with room to spare! We had 10 adults in the room on the morning of my wedding and it did not feel tight or uncomfortable at all as the layout is excellent. The view is beyond words!

Location was excellent - in the centre of the city. The unit overlooks the old Newcastle railway station with a 180 degree view of the river from Fort Scatchley to the Victoria wharf and beyond. It was great to see the many ships arriving and leaving. The room was very large and well appointed, catering for a long stay if required. The underground parking was a bonus as the car was securely parked for our stay. The reception staf were very welcoming and happy to do anything for us. I would definitely stay there again.

The property was surprisingly large, there was a balcony with a view, decent sized bathroom and kitchen, comfy lounge and very comfy bed. The location was perfect, a 10 minute walk to the beach where we sat and watched whales go by and dolphins. Great eateries around and Woolies for the essentials. We sat and enjoyed the sunset at the bar down the road. A perfect location. Nothing was out of place, no complaints here at all. We want to come back with friends. There is a communal area downstairs we can use when the travel gang get together.

Location was great, the apartment had everything we needed. Close to restaurants and entertainment.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great sleep, the mattress was comfortable but the pillows were extremely high and all the pillow were the same, we ended up folding our clothes up and using them as pillows. We woke up at 1am and watched tv as we just couldn’t sleep. So started the day off on Sunday very sleepy. I would suggest having some more options for pillows not everyone enjoys a high pillow.

Great location in walking distance to things we wanted to do on our overnight stay. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy apartment.

The beds were x2 KS pushed together and had a very hard and uncomfortable ribbing edge in the middle where they met. You knew about it when you rolled on to it. We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 of us staying (2 couples). Sitting areas especially couch were too small for when we sat together to chill.

The view from the apartment was beautiful. The hotel is in a good location near a couple of great walks and in a nice refurbished area close to beaches except for the hotel's proximity to pubs which have live bands and are very noisy on weekends.

The 2 bedroom apartment with harbour views has a second bedroom with a glass wall with glass sliding doors between it and the living area so it has no protection from light from the rest of the apartment and more perplexingly it has not one cupboard or draw space in that bedroom. So you have no choice but to live out of a suitcase as even the 2 bedside tables are just that ...tables no draws. It was obviously meant to be a 1 bedroom apartment where they have transformed living space into an additional bedroom, but not done this very thoughtfully.

I only have one small bit of feedback, and to be honest, with my experience i had I just put it aside, but if they don’t know they can’t attempt to fix the issue, the drain in the main bathroom was a little smelly, but I just used the second bathroom and all good.
