The room was spacious and well thought out. Lots of places to put stuff (of which we had heaps). The bathroom had enough bench space for all my goodies. Breakfast was delicious and the staff an absolute delight. The location was perfect for last minute Christmas shopping, and the room was quiet and comfortable.

The mattress was supportive (good in my book), but I'm a restless sleeper and the slightest movement was transferred across the bed to my partner. I would have liked the towels changed (3 night stay) and maybe a light vacuum. Perhaps I should have asked....

I really liked the layout/design of the room, The dark light colours, the dark colours facilitated sleep as did the block out blinds/curtains. The skylight in the bathroom could be closed off with the door - however brought in natural light. As did the natural filtered light from the room windows, The kitchenette was a practical design. In the reception room I liked the enormous window allowing the warmth of the sun in. I liked the collectables, the light fittings and the rusty outside privacy shutters. The breakfast was also delicious. The addition of bath salts was excellent.

To have two biscuits each with the complimaentary tea and coffee in the room.

Beautiful hotel, historic building blended with modern architecture, art inspired wing with fantastic rooms and decor. Highlighting local produce including fresh ground coffee, home made goodies and gourmet teas in room. Funky interiors, open fires in common areas. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient and service was A1. Recommendations to local restaurants were spot on. Breakfast was delicious and fresh.

We unfortunately had a very rattly noisy air-conditioning vent that kept us awake most of the night. The staff the next day were extremely proactive and helpful in sorting out the issue.

The tray of tea and biscuits waiting on our bed was a lovely welcome. The room was spacious and stylishly decorated with a focus on comfort. The included breakfast was fabulous! Very tempting options. A nice selection of recent food, travel and design magazines in the room. Lots of nice spaces throughout the hotel to sit and consider the possibilities.

There is a little kitchenette but it is minimally equipped. There is no undercover parking.

The hotel is in a heritage building and the refurbishment and fit out to accommodate the needs of travellers is excellent. Our room was spacious, clean and attractive. the two beds were very comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was excellent. The hotel has several common areas for guests including an outdoor terrace where the manager served us with drinks. The cook to order breakfast was very good, served in a heritage breakfast room. As we were on a road trip through the Central West, the manager Tom gave us great advice on how best to spend our time, including mapping out a heritage walk, which we thoroughly enjoyed. He also gave us tips on where to go for dinner.

Couldn't be faulted

Very pleasant setting, close to town centre. Reception staff were very friendly, relaxed and helpful. Rooms were well appointed, very clean and quiet, with nice look out onto trees. The breakfast was delicious: excellent fresh granola with home made yoghurt and fruit, followed by perfect scrambled eggs on sourdough toast and lovely coffee.

Cleaning staff coming into my room when I was in the bathroom, well before due time to leave - not a good experience. No internal phone to call reception (I needed an iron). No info on 'menu' or elsewhere to say this was the case or give number to call (I looked it up on internet then later found it was on the door pass). I wonder about the assumption clients will have fully charged mobile phones (what do they do if they forgot their charger?) and about the safety aspect of clients alone in rooms with no easy means of contact. Lastly, surprising lack of written information (pamphlets, etc) about Orange and its attractions, though staff gave very helpful advice from their personal knowledge when we asked.

The property has been beautifully renovated & delightfully decorated. The breakfast was excellent & the staff very friendly & most helpful.

Our room was accessed by stairs which I found difficult. Bookings.com stated the property had a lift which it did but not to access our room. The owners carried our luggage up to the room for us which was greatly appreciated.

The location of this hotel was great but the hotel itself was amazing. The staff were great, food was good and the little touches like the herbal tea and cookie in the evening just added that extra touch that made us feel spoiled. Staff were also great at recommendations on things to do/see and restaurant recommendations were spot on.

Nothing - I loved it and would love to come back again.

We loved the comfort of this boutique hotel, its location not too far to restaurants & shops and the excellent service of its staff (thank you Andrew). It was quite relaxing to enjoy wine in the beautifully decorated living room. And breakfast was excellent too with so many choices offered!
