It was in a handy location
It was very interesting in the bathroom the toilet is facing the wrong way as you couldn’t sit down as your knees hit the wall. We certainly had a laugh.

The location is very convenient, with the light rail Chinatown stop just outside on George St. There are more local eating places in the surrounding streets than I can count . Dixon St (Chinatown) is a 2 min walk away and getting anywhere is easy. Reception staff were exceptional and gave us an upgrade to a 1bedroom apt rather than the king studio we'd booked. The building is well maintained and rooms are quite spacious and comfortable . Soundproofing is good.
Our apartment had a kitchen but equipment supplied is very minimal. The assumption is that residents eat out or bring back takeaway. We had what we needed but a couple of normal sized wine glasses ( rather than the 2 tiny ones we had ), would have been useful. We stayed on the 7th floor and faced George st. Our stay was on a Saturday night and there was a bit of noise from the street, despite the double glazing. We are both insomniacs and I doubt it would bother most people.

it was quiet, clean & checking in and out was quick & easy. mum and i had our own beds which is hard to find these days, we had a kitchenette & a big window to watch the world go by. location is A++ - starbucks directly across road, also tram stop, paddys markets, chinatown and 7-Eleven. only couple blocks walk back to central station. The staff were so nice & helpful & held my bags as I had an early morning appointment the next day & they let mum stay in the room til checkout.
mum is 73 and the shower is a bath combo so she wanted a shower but couldn't because she can't climb into the bath recess. only one night so wasn't a huge issue she just had shower when she got home to wollongong.

Attention to service: very responsive to our needs and requests, always with a smile. Location: close to great food and entertainment/attractions and great public transport services right out the front door to get around the city. Very clean facilities, although there was often a nasty smell in the hall/lift.. I suspect from guests and their food/BO but needs to be kept on top of. Overall it was excellent value for money, we appreciated the opportunity to pay less to not having regular cleaning, as we were perfectly capable of doing it ourselves.
The view was very ordinary.

I have been and used this place many times when it was Breakfree on George. Now it is Mantra, it’s nice to see not much has changed, the new bonus is for accessibility issues iris right out front the Chinatown tram stop, they still hold your luggage for you for the day at check in or check out free of charge, the staff are still so accommodating and friendly with great knowledge of the best local spots and the rooms are still so comfy. I like their sustainability approaches from wooden key cards to vegan friendly toiletries that are Devine! Overall as always I’m happy to stay here :)
My only gripe is two small things that aren’t major… the lifts are a bit creaky and slow so make sure if you are wanting to leave quickly especially at check out time to give yourself plenty of time. Also my bathroom is looking quite dated and aged, the tiles need grouting and the bathtub is looking well worn that it was showing cracks. Overall though it is exceptionally clean and like I said, these are minor gripes and probably already on the maintenance list for the hotel.

Location was fantastic. Very close to the light rail stop right outside the door. Our request for some extra pillows was met without any concerns. Front reception staff were so polite and helpful. It was great to be able to leave our luggage for storage until our flights later in the day.
Kitchen had very minimal items if you wanted to cook in the unit (not a problem for us personally). There was some music noise from the pub across the road until late hours on Friday/Saturday, but we were still able to get to sleep.

Second stay at this hotel and yet again it was great, not only amazing for the money but the staff are always lovely, the room was upgraded for only a small fee and was well worth it for the extra space, perfect distance to the capitol theatre which was the reason for the stay and the previous, will continue to stay here for any events local!
Only downside is no parking, but the parking area next to Starbucks underground is refunded by the hotel, that is if there is space which unfortunately this time there was not and we were unable to redeem the cost of parking for one night which was $80 just a block away!

Conveniently located at the top of China Town. A LOT of food and drink options in the area. The room was nice and spacious and I was able to check in early and leave late with my Accor Loyalty Program membership. A reasonable place to stay when on a moderate budget in Sydney.
The TV was very old with no 'smart' options (ie. Netflix, etc). The wifi connection was ok, but the speeds weren't great and I didn't have very good cell coverage in my room, so hot-spotting wasn't an option.

Location is really GREAT! In the middle of Chinatown/Thaitown you can easily find any food you want. The place can access to Sussex rd for car/taxi, and to George rd for tram. The room is clean. Kitchenette is well prepared. Bathroom is clean. You can acquire more towels and amenities anytime at the reception desk. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Furniture in the room is so-so. There is a kitchen corner but no dish drainer, make us a bit uncomfortable. Wi-Fi is occasionally unstable.

The location is so central to everything you need, literally a 20m walk to the light rail to head to circular quay or to the back side of capitol square to head over to the casino. Staff at reception where brilliant and very accomidating along with the best bang for buck you can buy for 5 nights in such a prime location.
The bathrooms are a little outdated but for the price we paid its something that can be overlooked but other then that nothing else.
