Easy to check in and out, room was nice and clean. Staff were polite. Location was great. I could walk to my work conference but was also close enough to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. Breakfast was nice. Spice Alley is walking distance with lovely food options. EzyMart below so if you needed something at the last minute, this is also useful. Close to public transport. I would stay again.

Nothing major. Probably more of a personal preference if the pool was a little warmer and if the lobby area a little cleaner. It had larger groups of people moving through it such as a school tour and a bus tour, plus conferences (this was the 3rd day though). Our A/C wouldn't turn off, maybe instructions on how to use the A/C. We rang reception to sort it out.

The multi lights were awesome in the room. Beds were comfortable. Very nice bathroom. Pool was fantastic with sauna facilities. Close to everything in the city as we walked all over and all the way to Sea Life and back.

The bathroom door was not what we expected as it didn't provide much privacy if someone went past. Parking fees and very tight parking spots. Very hot and humid in the parking. Not having a bin in the hallway as everyone left garbage on the floor for the cleaners to take away. Would suggest to have a bin somewhere to put garbage as we felt sorry for the cleaners.

Checkin process was very easy and staff were quite helpful. Room was clean and perfectly fine for a family of four for a short (2 night) stay. Tv wasnt working so called reception and they had maintenance up straight away to fix the problem. Had breakfast included and it was great - plenty of hot and cold options. Quite busy if you didn’t get down there early but we certainly didn’t miss out. Parking was easy to access and plenty of space for our larger car. Overall had a very pleasant stay.

Only gripes (which are small) would be the pillows weren’t very comfy but ok for a short stay and when the cleaner came through after the first night they removed the hand towels and floor towels without replacing from our bathroom. Again, very small issues in what was an otherwise pleasant stay.

The location was brilliant. Close to the Central public train stations and bus stops. Very close to lots of shops, Market City, China town and plenty of eateries. Could not have picked a better location. Absolutely convenient and perfect! We booked the hotel for about 10 days. Our room had an excellent view. The room was good, nothing flash but comfortable. The breakfast was good but it's pretty much the same most days with some small variations.

One thing that’s was very frustrating was that the bathroom shower glass doesn’t block the water from spilling out of the shower area into the bathroom and from there into the entrance area. The shower area has no water barrier on the floor and any amount of careful showering doesn’t stop the water from flowing out of the shower area. That was extremely frustrating because I hate wet bathrooms! The attached photos show water flowing out from the bathroom into the entrance way of the room.

The room was clean and comfortable, and suited our needs for a one-night stay. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Well worth $25 each and children eat free. Location was just a short downhill walk to Central Station and the light rail. We can't fault the staff at all. They were friendly, helpful and professional.

Not so much "didn't like" but $395 per night for the room is quite expensive. Two double beds for two (non-couple adults) and a 9yr old. The room was 'cosy'. There was no mini bar. Perhaps the amount of stage shows, concerts, events etcetera reflected the cost? Also, the only thing we could access on the TV was the restaurants.

It was a comfortable room, hotel in a good location.

I did not like that we had to wait until 6.30pm to get into our room. They offered us 2 complimentary drinks they could of done better.

It is not the same standard of the Mercure hotels like in Europe or Asia, however the service I mean personnel of the hotel was just fabulous. Amazing people, always kind and nice and very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Location of the hotel was in the center; a lot of small markets around. Hotel is very close to Chinatown. Walk to the Opera House takes maybe 30 minutes. Very close to the Main Station. I really recommend it and for sure next time will choose that hotel.

Everything was ok.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Central Station in Sydney. It provides good breakfasts with a wide selection. We also had a lunch special in the bar located next to the street on the ground floor. The staff at check-in and the restaurants were very friendly and helpful. We were a little early, so they held our luggage until we could check-in fully. The room was not over-spacious but adequate, especially since we only stayed 1 night.

For some reason we were charged a $1 security deposit and the balance of the room costs in separate charges when we checked-in. I would have thought these could have been combined as a single charge? There were no room lights, only bedside lights so it was quite dim.

The staff were impeccable, always happy & smiling & helpful. The room was very comfortable & spacious. & was on a high floor away from any noise. The internet was like nothing I had experienced before. Both download & upload speeds were well over 200Mbps, & was free for Accor members. The location was perfect for those that want to get out & about. Trains, trams, buses, all within a 5 minute walk. For those wanting to ride on a ferry, or to check out Sydney's famous attractions like the Opera House, harbour bridge, & the Rocks, the train can have you there in about 6 minutes.

The only issue we had, & it really was a minor issue, was the bottom sheet on the king size bed. If you're a restless sleeper, it untucks easily. Other than that, the beds are very comfortable, & supportive.
