The desk person carried all of our bags up to our room for us and text us when our room was ready. We could leave our bags there until we were ready to leave for the airport. The staff were helpful and curteous and smiley.

We arrived off an early morning flight and had no access through the main door until then despite calling contact numbers and codes for the door. The area is good for proximity to city center but a bit uncomfortable to be standing on the foot path in the cold for a couple of hoursThere was no lift. We had lots of bags. They were kindly taken up for us but a mission of several trips up and down stairs to get them down again.

Location was perfect for visiting a family member in St Vincent's Private Hospital. Ease of getting in after hours with a code. No fear of losing room key...just needed phone to access code. Room was very clean.

Small longlife milk for tea & coffee. Better explanation of parking options. While it is NOT the fault of the Crecy, it should be explained that Wilson's Parking at 70 Riley Street is not overnight parking as such. The gates are locked at a certain time and new daily rates start immediately after 6am. It's a pity there isn't an overnight deal for interstate hotel guests between the Crecy and Wilson's Parking at 70 Riley Street. The nearest Wilson's open 24 hours with an overnight rate is the Domain and that is not as convenient distance wise for visiting St Vincent's.

Fantastic location with great connections to public transport and good amenities right outside the door. The room itself was excellent, more than enough room, comfy beds/couch and a gorgeous balcony view. Check-in/out was very simple and quick and the free luggage holding service was super convenient. Friendly staff, clean and fresh room and overall a lovely place to stay.

Found an old syringe in the bathroom cabinet left by previous travelers, presumably overlooked by cleaning staff. Apart from that the room was very clean.

The staff were really nice. Carried luggage up stairs and provided extra blankets in my pregnancy. The room felt big and relaxing. And loved sitting outside on balcony with a coffee at night. It also was close to everything! Bus stop, capitol theatre, places to eat and cafes. We walked past bars if you're into that. They also look after your luggage after checking out and offer later check outs.

Hm honestly thought it was really really nice. If I had to pick anything just that things were aged. Like the kettle, silicone around shower and basin made things looked dirty when they honestly weren't. Oh and PowerPoint's XD they're there but one bed of our two beds has sad access lol so just bring a power board if that concerns you. But we brought one just in case so we were more than fine. There is some low traffic noise at times, but you really need to expect that in the area it's in. Didn't bother us at all.

The room was attractive, clean and light. I liked being able to open the sliding glass window for fresh air rather than use the air-conditioner, and I liked the high ceilings which made the room feel larger than its floor size. The outside of the hotel is old and slightly shabby but the room was freshly renovated in pleasant and subtle colours. The little bathroom was big enough for me, and very clean and fresh. As I was looking for an inexpensive hotel close to the city and Circular Quay it seemed to me to be very, very good value for money. The towels and bedding were clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The hallway and stairs were old and had a slightly musty smell, but in a way that just made the freshness of the room a pleasant surprise. I'm 68 and not used to hotels that only have staff during certain times. I wondered how I'd get back into my room if forgot to take my mobile phone.

The location was great. It is close to eateries etc. and public transport. There were about 20 stairs but that is not a bother for me. Room with high ceilings, nice decor, historic building with some stained glass, cosy room. Felt very private. Reasonably priced.

I missed having an extra blanket on bed but there was air conditioning. There was a lot of noise by a group of people in another room early in evening and outside at night but I took earplugs so that was not an issue. No microwave but lots of food options close by.

The hotel is centrally located - easy to access from Museum Station and buses on the Bondi - City - Circular Quay route. The rooms are basic - but have all the essentials - AC, a comfy bed, a TV, tea and coffee and a secure room.

There is no lift - so if you have a lot of luggage or heavy luggage - it is a bit of a hassle to get them up the stairs. The staff are helpful though and do help out when they can.

The location is fantastic! On the edge of the CBD, closeby to excellent cafes and restaurants in Surry Hills and Darlinghurst. Easy walk to the Art Gallery of NSW, Circular Quay, Opera House, etc. The room was spacious and clean.

The only issue was an unexpected power outage. It was an unfortunate occurrence, and the hotel could have provided better communication as to what was going on. But they did reimburse all the guests for that nights stay.

The location was right in the heart of Darlinghurst and easy walking distance to tons of food options for both breakfast and dinner. Less than 10 minute walk to the Sydney Opera House, 5 minute walk to Hyde Park and a 13 minute walk to The Rocks so it was pretty perfect for us. There's an incredible and unassuming tiny bakery called Tenacious Bakehouse just down the road with some of the best croissants I've tasted (I'm French) or Rebels N Misfits had tasty inexpensive breakfast options. Also, GoGet Car Share Pods are all around if you need to rent a car for a few hours or a day. We were in the 'Twin Room with City View', which was spacious, clean and pleasant with tea making facilities and a small bar fridge. Access to the hotel and rooms is via a security code panel which was easy enough and avoided fluffing about with a key. There was a little bit of noise outside during the night if you are a light sleeper but it didn't bother me.

The accommodation itself only has stairs to access the rooms from what I gathered, which made me realise how unfit I was, and there was an unpleasant smell in the stair hallway but nothing that would stop me from booking here again for future visits to Sydney.
