Although it was a budget stay, it didn’t feel like budget at all. The lobby and the room feels so inviting, homey and smells nice. Checking in was easy and simple as well even though I came in after hours. I also had to leave my baggage before I head to the airport and the friendly staff was super accomodating and kind.

Bathroom was a bit squished for my liking and hard to sit on the toilet but it gets the job done.

To begin, the location for this place is excellent. It's not smack right in the middle of the CBD but Potts Point is a very cute little neighbourhood of the city which we enjoyed a lot. It's probably a 20 minute walk to the Opera House. The hotel itself is also quite cute but tiny. We never saw the staff but the check in and out was pretty seamless and the bathrooms seemed to be cleaned quite regularly. The little balcony off the room overlooking the street was also nice and the bed was comfy.

To be fair, it is right on the main street though Potts Point but it is fairly noisy on the street in the mornings. At 6 am, you could hear the recycling trucks coming by and smashing bottles. The old doors to the balcony could probably be upgraded to reduce some of the road noise. You could also hear a good amount of noise from the hallways and adjoining rooms. We heard our neighbours arguing quite a bit. Otherwise, the place was great.

Obviously the location is excellent. The hotel interior is quite pleasant, and being an older style terraced building quite interesting. My room was basic but comfortable. Shared bathroom facility worked ok for me, and was well stocked and clean.

Not much really. Only that my room wasn’t serviced each day as I understood it would be, and I had to ask for fresh towels more than once during my 4 day stay, though that may have been partly my fault.

Great and comfortable stay for us, very friendly staff and just a great stay. Rooms and whole hotel were decorated with a modern style. Bathrooms were clean regularly

We had a room with a balcony at the front of the building, could be loud on an evening but does quiet down around 11ish. Doors do slam loudly throughout the whole building. The shared bathroom situation didn’t bother us to much but it seem like every time we needed to use it would be in use so had to wait.

I found the location of the hotel to be very convenient as it is only a short walk away from shops, restaurants, and transport options towards certain attractions. The communal space provided tableware which was facilitating, not to deter from the fact that there are many options to eat around the hotel.

A minor concern is occasional noise from the laneway outside my room although it is understood that there are businesses situated between the hotel.

Property was modern and while the room was small (the booking was very clear that it was small so it was what I expected) it was central, close to plenty of food options and the bed was comfy.

On the first day the shared bathroom needed some cleaning but that was soon fixed and the facilities were excellent.

We like to sit at balcony for breakfast and drink at night as the bed room is too small. The interior of hotel is so cute. A lot of bars and restaurants near by. Also it 's handy as Woolworth and bus stop are very closed by. We found out at the last day of stay that you can take bus 311 to CBD without have to walk all the way to king cross train station.

Room is a bit small for 4 people to stay. No lift. I don't have problem with share bathroom but it should have use something to tell people that it occupied. Front room door should have something to cover on the bottom because at night the light is so bright and disturb your sleep. I have to use pillows to cover the bottom of the door. i don't know why they left it like that .

It was very modern and clean. The shared bathrooms were frequently serviced and cleaned by staff.

The sound proofing is a little non-existent. You can hear everything (and I am not exaggerating) above you, in the hallways and other people’s rooms. This doesn’t bother me, and I had good earplugs for sleeping. But be aware! It was a bit further from the train station than I anticipated but that was my fault. And it was only 12 mins walk in the end.

I liked the excellent level of cleanliness and the rooms proximity to the bathroom. Great location - can walk to the Opera House (approximately 30 minutes) and the fact there is a Woolworths metro just up the road. There’s a microwave, plates/cutlery etc for guests use downstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived early but they had no problem with minding our bags and even rang us when the room became available. Good use of toiletry products in the bathrooms…No waste and better for the environment. Overall, good value for money. Would stay here again.

No proper space to hang clothes. Rooms very compact. Photos look slightly better than the actual rooms.

I liked the price! If you are wondering about shared toilets - they were super clean. The room as freshly renovated, roomy, quality furniture and linen, building with style and character.

If you are wondering about shared toilets - they were busy. There were more than a few times during our two nights stay where we had to go to another level to use the toilet/shower. The location is great but obviously you get a lot of noise and light from the street because of ... location We had a few younger noisy guests who made the night shorter than it could have been. Noisy doors when operated. No concierge on site to help with anything after hours.
