My best stay so far! I really impressed from the start: hotel - brand new, staff - super friendly, location - perfect (direct metro line from airport and bus to BONDI beach), nice restaurant at ground floor with decent coffee, rooms - cozy and very digital, you even can watch Netflix, pillows are very comfortable and bed sheets without any smells (usually I have very bad sleep in hotels, but this time it was not a problem), shower - can be made super hot and strong pressure. In addition to Nespresso coffee machine staff put small milk cream, cute!

At my last day staff was rush in cleaning as I left room a bit late. They forgot to put 2 additional towels and refill water.

The hotel room was clean and spacious. It was in a great location, within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The hotel wasn't on a busy street, so there wasn't a lot of traffic noise. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

I stayed on a low level of the hotel and my window was facing an office building and train station entrance. I'm not sure if the people in the other building or on the street could see through the window, so I always had the blinds closed to maintain privacy. I also faced difficulty with sorting out my invoice at the end of my stay. I was supposed to receive a discount for not receiving daily housekeeping (as part of an environmental initiative), however this discount was not accurately applied and despite having contacted the hotel multiple times after my stay to get it fixed, no refund was provided.

I enjoyed the different types of pillows that were offered, the Nespresso pod machine & how the iPad could be used to control everything.

Well Booking.com, for some reason, my room was not booked once I arrived. The hotel did not receive any notification from you about me coming, luckily they had a room available. I think it would be a good idea for the hotel to keep scales, so that tourists can weigh their bags before leaving for the airport. Something silly, but I had a pair of running socks blow onto the balcony that is inaccessible due to the window not opening entirely. I received a letter from reception saying that there would be window cleaners outside during the week. So I asked 3 times at reception, if the cleaners could retrieve my socks for me. I did not hear anything back from the 3 different receptionists I spoke to. It is silly, but I really loved those socks!

To be honest, I found the reception a bit weird. I'm all for security but it was the manner of the staff that was just a tiny bit strange. She made us feel slightly uncomfortable the way she was asking for our identification, she may have been new? We were on our last night of 3 weeks away with quite a few check in's & I whispered to my husband, what's going on, I feel like we have landed in a foreign country & they are suss on us! As I said, all for security but they may want to show their staff how to be security conscious but warm & friendly at the same time.

The location of the hotel is amazing! Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The swimming pool is a must to do whilst waiting for the sunset. The bed is comfortable. The room is nice, clean and modern.

The customer service is hit and miss unfortunately. The person I have spoken with when I checked in and out were lovely but the room service (phone) wasn't. I wish the hotel offer normal water, the complimentary water they offer taste weird so I have to go to the nearest Woolies to get my own water. The internet they offer is not reliable since I keep disconnecting on my device so it is better to use your own internet.

room was spacious, well appointed, modern and good use of tech. Reception was friendly and helpful. Used an umbrella during the stay which was useful. $20 Environment credit a good inititive. Did not need room servicing for a weekend stay.

Room could do with more hooks in the entrance for coats (was raining) and in the bathroom. Found the dining onsite a bit overpriced and the change ofmenu at 11am to be problematic. On a Saturday looking for late breakfast a la carte and nothing was appealing on the lunch/evening menu to meet that need so went elsewhere. Spice bar advertised some form of happy hour, but the menu didnt present that. had a $25 cocktail that had an additional weekend service charge added on. Dissapointing. Surcharges generally, booked online but then paid further surcharges on top of online price. Think that is deceitful

Location was amazing. Hotel is super stylish and is very much a bespoke, intimate hotel. Cafe/bar is gorgeous and main restaurant also. Room was huge compared to what we’ve experienced elsewhere, shower was great and iPad in the room controlling everything from curtains to lighting etc. The staff were super friendly and helpful - recognising us all the time and making for a really welcoming experience.

Just wish they had fluffy doonas on the bed (they do have gorgeous bedsheets, comfy bed and pillows but then a light blanket and cover). There’s a Nespresso coffee machine and pods in the room but really wish there was a milk frother too!

The location is fantastic. It is central and within walking distance to Hyde Park, The Royal Botanical Gardens, Sydney Opera House, Chinatown and other sites in Sydney. Access to public and private transport is great. Rooms are equipped with premium fixtures and iPads for managing all room functions such as lighting. The shower was great and the bed comfortable. The breakfast is quite substantial and staff are friendly when serving.

The beautiful design of the reception, restaurants and common areas didn’t translate to the rooms. A minimalist approach was adopted, but the room could have done with a more personal touch. Some simple things like a toilet brush were missing. Our cleaning lady left rubbish from another room in our room which, we assumed was an error, but attention to detail would help make the hotel a true 5 star stay.

The bedding was excellent. The blackout curtain did its job very well. I had a great, restful vacation except that there was a construction noise in the first night. The location is perfect, close to tram, bus station or walking distance to many places. Toiletries was glamorous. I felt well pampered.

It’s a little difficult to control things from the iPad screen. I wish there’s some door to hide the scene of toilets from the bed. The pillars in the room thought interesting, the room could be more spacious.

Great location - beautifully designed rooms.

No towel racks or hooks (there was only one for a bathrobe). Nowhere to hang towels for them to dry. Strange open concept toilet where glass door provides no privacy or soundproofing. I don’t understand why the hotel’s design team thinks that people want to hear everything going on. Would not stay here sharing a room. Gym is tiny - small room with little to no useful equipment.
