I did pre book my room on line. When I got to Armidale which was roughly 20km away my car broke down. I rang Ken who manages the motel with his wife and told him my situation and I would not be able to get there he said no worries. Just let me know where they tow your car to and I'll come and pick you up. Not only did he drive the 20 plus km to pick me up but he drove me back the next day to pick my car up. Appsolute champion! I was so lucky to pick this motel because I don't think I would have got this kind of service many other places. Plus the room was very clean and comfortable.

The motel ownership has changed but the motel hasn't. Basic and old fashioned - just the way I like it. Why pay extra when you just need a room to sleep in? The room was comfortable and they still use blankets (I hate doonas) and have face washers. It's on a busy road but we were not bothered by the noise because the room remained quiet. I always stay here when I'm in Uralla and I will continue to do so.

Only one suggestion - a tea towel would have been useful after cleaning cups and plates.

I liked everything pretty much it had a blow drier, towels, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, cutlery, cups, bowls, plates toaster idk if I saw a kettle, extra pillows, tv and free wifi. It was very warm nice little room

I couldn’t connect chrome cast the tv wasn’t connecting to my phone and I believe there should have been small milk in the fridge so I could have my coffee with milk

The owners had only been there for about a week and it was obvious they had done a lot of work to bring the property up to standard. The were very friendly and happy to know of any issues at all.

The sound button on the TV remote wasn't operating properly. We reported it to the new owners who had just fitted new TV's into the Motel and were going to fix the minor issue.

The manager and staff were excellent. We had car issues and the manager arranged a mechanic to fix our vehicle via his staff. We were stranded but the manager went beyond and made us comfortable and the vehicle problem was fixed by the mechanics 200 metres away. Excellent and professional local service. Thank you Ali

Easy to find. Very clean and nicely appointed room that comfortably fit the four of us. WiFi, TV etc were all very good. The staff were terrific. We were travelling from Canberra via Nowra, so were planning a later than normal arrival. Key was left in the door and clear instructions were given for the check-in process.

A true first world problem - the pillows were poor. That said, we had to really think hard to find a negative to answer this question.

The room had been recently renovated and painted. New TV, fridge, air con. Bed was comfortable. Large shower. Good water pressure and nearly instant hot water. Room was small but very clean. Quiet considering it is located just back from New England Highway. Each unit has individual parking. Good value for money. Close to town. A short drive to Armidale to north. Pleasant operators.

My only minor issue was the lock on the bathroom window was broken off.

All that was needed was there. China, cutlery and electrical appliances, to allow for most eating in requirements. As we were travelling south, it was just a matter of cpnt8nuing on the same road, very convenient.

The room was small, but the most was made of the space allowed. Perhaps it’s not a great idea to have smoking allowed outside the room as it can be detected inside. Suggest a designated smoking area away from rooms.

The room look like it had been recently refreshed. It had the best refrigerator for a motel, having two doors a small top mounted freezer and the refrigerator. Just what's needed for travellers.

A little further out of town than expected but OK. Gravel carpark can be a bit noisy when parking at night.

The room was clean, with modern appliances. I liked the double blinds on the window, which is not common for motels -- small things like this set this motel room apart. After I rang through, the late night check-in was seamless and my room, key and invoice were ready to go.
