the location & the friendly staff

I didn’t like the fact that the restaurant shuts at 2pm every day & the bar shut at 5pm. Given the amount a money you pay the restaurant & bar should be open for longer hours. the bed & pillows were uncomfortable.

Accommodation and property are gorgeous, villas are huge and gardens are immaculate and filled with birds and butterflies. The day spa is also excellent with a good selection of treatments and tranquil rooms. The massage beds are the most comfortable I've ever had a treatment on!

The menu selections at the restaurant are limited and room service is not available. Wasn't super impressed with the pillows on the bed, they were pretty uncomfortable. Some extra options stashed in a cupboard would of been good. There was also a leak in the roof in the kitchen area.

Very very nice hotel with superb villas in Bali style. Incredible view on birds from the Villa’s swimming pool Very nice staff. Always helpful.

Wifi was not working in all the Villa and the speed was low Food in the restaurant was not good at all (at least for a French) but it was amazing to have breakfast and cook in the villa Difficult to book the SPA

The villas are amazing! very spacious private and comfortable! location is good and the gardens are beautiful

The restaurant is terrible and the level of service is terrible. They desperately need a decent chef and some effort out into food! like other hotels people would travel to this place for food if it was quality.

We loved how private the villa was - and how it could be opened to the environment by opening the long bifold doors and closed when needed for cooling down. The private plunge pool was divine and we loved watching the birdlife on the lake. All facilities for cooking were available. Seeing as the dining area could not be open in the current situation, the hotel went out of its way to make sure we had access to breakfast and lunch facilities. Very comfy beds too!

I don't think there was anything that we didn't like.

Breakfast provided a variety of options and was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting and great location. Would stay again.

The kitchen needed a more thorough clean. The sink, bin and dishwasher were dirty. The lounge couch could be replaced as well. We did plan on cooking and it was one of the reasons we stayed at Niramaya but the kitchen let us down.

the restaurant was overpriced but the service was good. Our villa was very nice but was beginning to show some ware and tear. some maintenance will be needed shortly if you wish to charge top prices.

the plunge pool was is poor repair. There was not enough sun protection around the pool area for use during the day. the sprinkler system was set to come on just as we could of used the outside space in the late afternoon. Very annoying.

The Villas are something else. Very spacious with only the best appliances and accessories - well done

Breakfast was a bit ordinary, the private pool in our villa could be heated at this time of the year, another toilet in the entertainment area would have been nice

Our arrival to Niramaya for our party of 9 was greeted with WOW, WOW, WOW. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! Beautiful facilities with all the luxuries that made our holiday perfect. The facilities are well maintained and of a high standard. We all loved the main pool. The food was awesome and we loved the daily food vouchers, which made our 12 night stay so affordable. The breakfasts were amazing. We went on reef tours and river tubing, quad biking, Croc tours and the scenic rail. The staff were really helpful in booking our tours and already had the answers to any questions we had. We had the perfect blend of rest and relax to fun and activities. Port Douglas is the perfect location, Niramaya the perfect place to stay and the spa is a must.

Not much to not like but the only thing I can think of was having only 1 key that locked all the rooms in our villa.

The villa was incredible, the layout, felt relaxed and the grounds were beautiful. The staff all so helpful and lovely. So quiet and peaceful. Great location, felt like we weren’t even in Australia, yet our own little oasis.
