In general everything was great. The plunge pool was fantastic as was the air conditioned rooms.

The sheets in one bedroom were extremely stained and overall the apartment could have a deep clean such as the fridge, cupboards, walls, door handles etc

The room entrance was private and the room was comfortable, easily accessible to parking, pool and the external bins The overall feel was relaxing

The toilet was dirty, inside the rope of the bowl and under the seat was soiled on our arrival We had to clean it Loved the swim out room but pool needs a net we can remove all the leaves and dead bugs

2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor with our patio leading right into a pool. Excellent. The apt was spacious and clean and well appointed. We had a rental car so easy drive into town to go to restaurants, easy walk to the beach. We did walk into town a couple of days, but it was a long walk in the heat so we drove in other times.

Only 1 small sachet of laundry powder and dishwasher powder, no dish soap We were there for 10 days so had to buy detergents and wash cloths. Had a massage which was terrible! I do not think she has a proper qualification, it was disjointed and just plain awful. DO NOT get a massage here!

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s good value. Not really near town so best to have a car. Although there is a shuttle bus. The rooms are spacious and the swimout rooms are fabulous. I’ve had the apartments and the hotel room. It’s definitely better to spend the extra on an apartment. The staff are lovely. They’re very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

There is no allocated parking so not so easy to find a park in the busy times of the year. Also, they’re quite small. The ledge in the pool is quite rough so you can easily scrape the back of your legs….which I did last time. Also, my friend is quite short and had major trouble getting out of the pool because the ladders do not go deep enough into the water.

Great spacious units that were very clean and had great amenities. Lovely pool.

Needed a proper shower floor stopper as water got all over the floor when showering.

Room facilities and entertainment area were spacious.

When I arrived the lady appeared to not be able to find my booking information and I was asked if I can wait. This made me feel somewhat anxious like there was a problem. I was then told I was getting an upgrade if I wanted it and it all worked out ok but the initial vibe was like something was wrong and I had to wait a really long time to be able to check in with the kids waiting in the car after a long drive. A phone call beforehand could have alleviated the stress of what was going on or just the general tone seemed negative/stressed. Get that everyone is doing their best and it was no problem in the end just not what I was expecting as arrival/warm welcome.

Check-in was easy and friendly staff. Swim-out pool was great, bbq facilities were good and very clean. The location was good, easy access up to Maccrossan St / Marina etc Ability to use the Pool Bistro at the Ramada was great - great food & friendly staff

There was not enough room in the bathroom to adequately dry our towels -very small hand towel rail only - definitely not big enough for 1 let alone 2 bath towels. Also a bath matt or some sort of absorbent matt at balcony door would have been good when getting out of the pool and entering the room - water all the way across the room could be very slippery.

Great facilities for anyone who wants to stay in rather than dine out/explore Port Douglas e.g. bbq areas, many choices of pools (albeit each of them small). The staff were all great and super friendly (and willing to give suggestions for food etc around town). Great location if you have a car or want to walk to the beach.

The room itself was spacious and satisfactory though quite dated (i.e. the bathroom worked but not amazingly). The room also had a slight musty smell (perhaps from it being so dated) which wasn't a bother if you kept the balcony door open but signalled that the room wasn't really that clean. While there looked to be a lot of parking, it seemed to fill up crazily fast so it wasn't always the easiest to get (especially when those with large trailers and utes were parking occupying 2 spots instead of 1).

I loved that there were a number of pools. The kids seemed all to be at one end of the accommodation so it was nice that we were away from loud kids. The check in was fantastic as we only just made reception hours but they contacted making sure we knew what to do if we were later than 7pm. Loved the spa bath on the balcony. The elevator was good, shower etc all clean etc. I used the milk for the tea in 2 cups, but I didn't mind.

Non allocated parking concerned me at first - but honestly it was fine! We got great parks in the shade each time and it was not a hassle, but I was worried at the beginning. Also didn't realise that the taxi and shuttle bus stopped running at 11.30pm! We were there for a wedding and only just made it or we would have be stranded on the main street.

everything about this resort was great - staff weee extremely helpful on check in - gave plenty of recommendations in the area and provided a shuttle service (we didn’t end up needing) pools and bbq area were clean and well presented and rooms were comfortable with well equipped tvs that offered Netflix (great after a long day exploring). our room was situated at the back of the resort so we had great access to the short walk to the beach.

not much at all - we did get lost finding our way into the car park as the signage wasn’t too visible (given silkari is right next door to the remada) one missed turn will take you into their car park but other than an error on our part arriving, it’s a great place to stay.
