Location and HK staff

Cleaning on the bathroom, mostly on the toilet, there was the black line on the bottom, brushing it sometimes with proper chemicals would save some disgust everytime guest open the lid... The rest of it okay. Also on the room 25 its next to a generator, couldnt have a restful sleep since it turns off and on all day, and it's noisy af, also the windows didnt fully close so..you know. The room felt like a hospital one, and smelled like one. But for the few nights I stayed saved me.

Location.... close enough that you can park the car and walk. It's handy being able to stay, have a few drinks watching the footy or grab dinner without having to go anywhere else. Staff were sensational!

Locals seem to use neighbouring roads as speedways, patrons and other guests for quite loud through the night, even had slamming doors. Rooms were ok but could do with some work.

Basic and out of date styled accommodation is totally forgotten when you combine the secure location that's walking distance to The Strand or the ferry to Magnetic Island , and prices low enough that you feel like extending your holiday by another week It's the perfect balance. I definitely will be staying again, and will definitely extend it again.

How everything is right in the facilities. Pokies bar tab restaurant Coles & Macca's right across the road The Strand at the end of the street economical to everything cheap go if your going by yourself or a Girl friend that's not fussed the rooms arnt they best me ! If good to just rest your head

Amazing staff, great value for the price, clean room, clean sheets, clean bathroom... even tho it was a little old, I was very comfortable and slept like a log.

The hotel is a little run down. The furniture is old and there are a few stains here and there. It could also use a lift to carry heavy luggage.

The location is fantastic. There is a Coles nearby as well as restaurants and boutique shops. The room had a ceiling fan and the AC worked well. The linen was clean, the toilet worked, the shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was comfortable. The property’s gardens and pool were lovely.

The property is very old BUT for $60 a night for a daily serviced room two blocks from the esplanade it is much more than satisfactory as a place to sleep for a night or two.

I have been comming to townsville a bit in the last 4 years ..I don't stay anywhere else..most easy going relaxed joint in the whole of townsville everything is at your fingers take away shops beach comfortably hotel ..mad sleeps..jus love this majestic 😍 joint

I couldn't afford to stay longer always

It gave me a bed and pillow to sleep on, shower to clean myself, and aircon and security it was safe.

The cleaner didn’t vacuum and mop my floor, sheets wasn’t changed, bed was wrongly made. Pillows to thin and I have an old mattress to sleep on.

Stayed overnight when we went to Country Bank Stadium. Good location close to city. The rooms are older style and basic but were clean. If its just somewhere to sleep its fine. The bar & food area looked good. The lady at check-in was very helpful and friendly.

I think the shower curtains could be updated.

It is 5mins to the Strand and is surrounded with food outlets. Coles is just across the street. It's convenience and central to what Townsville has to offer. It is worth the price if you just want clean sheets and towel.

I don't like that I could not latch my door when I am asleep. It is rather dim along the corridor.
