I will be staying here on my next visit! The location to food, beaches and everything needed to make your stay comfortable. The beds were the most comfortable ive stayed on whilst at away on travel. Room amenities were enough that you didn't need to guess how you were going to prepare meals should you not go out and eat at one of the many restaurants. I was also impressed with the facilities underground security parking. The whole site has a key pass access only after 8pm so you will not get any unwanted public walking around outside your apartment.

The shower head in my room was not operating properly. I suspect it was just a faulty tap end. (I believe this is not a regular occurrence nor should you decide to stay elsewhere based on this but be mindful) - I didn't not appreciate being woken by tradesmen working on an apartment above right on 7am. Some of us actually go away to have sleep ins and you pay alot to stay away when travelling. I was not given any notice there was going to be works going on during my stay. If in future the reception could do a courtesy text then it would be more acceptable

Close to the strand , supermarket and chemist. We could also walk to town even though there is a bus if you need it. We walked through Queens Park and on to Castle Rock. We would have used the pool if it wasn’t winter. They have a luggage storage facility which we used. The cleaner was helpful. Reception was manned by lovely staff who dealt with hot water problem as best they could. Well stocked kitchenette. Balcony with view to the sea. Had the best pizza at Tony’s, 5 mins away.

The position on the sea front was wonderful , bus outside the door , walk to local Shops . The pool was lovely but leaked so my husband had to keep refilling it Great laundry facilities on site .

We had a 3 week stay and the kitchen equipment was inadequate, 2 tiny saucepans , couldn’t even boil water for pasta , 1 ordinary small frypan . Minimal Cutlery , no salad bowl or platters . Prob just adequate for a weekend stay but not for 3 weeks The unit generally needs a deep clean , bedside cane lamps , caked either dust , not cleaned adequately in bathroom Behind toilet . The unit should have a sliding door between living and bedroom We hung a temporary curtain up for privacy if one wanted a sleep and other was in living room.

The apartment was in a great spot,a sea view and had everything and more we needed.Would be great for a longer stay,(as long as there was hot water!😉

There was a problem with the hot water while we were there and we had no hot water during our stay. Reception contacted us to say that we had a free room at The Madison Plaza if we wanted to go and stay there as they couldn't be sure that the problem would be remedied even tho they were doing their best to fix it. I think the fact that we decided to stay even without any hot water shows how much we liked and rated the apartment.

Spacious living area and ideal location. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils etc. The beds were comfortable and our ground floor room was very quiet.

Our apartment looked tired. These units are rated 4 star but in my option are around 3 stars. They are clean but tired. The sheer curtains were dirty, the dark curtains had hooks missing and there was plaster falling off the walls. They could do with a freshen up with new paint and couches but then the cost will go up so weigh up what is important to your stay.

Great location. Beds were super comfy but pillows were a little flat and a couple were quite flat and firm. Lived being able to sit out on the balcony for meals and enjoy the view of the strand and magnetic Island. Nice and spacious units. Loved having the ability to have a soaking bath in a large tub.

There was rubbish left in the freezer. There was nail clippings left on the carpet in the main bedroom. Just missing a vegetable peeler and a serving spoon. Also when enjoying a soak in the tub the taps would still drip after being turned off.

The Madison is located 50 metres off the Strand and all rooms appear to have ocean views. Our room which was a studio was very large. It consisted a queen bed which was comfortable, lounge, small dining table and chairs, kitchenette with good sized fridge, microwave and 2 burner hot plate. The bathroom was roomy and shower pressure very good. Our towels were changed daily. Our balcony had a great view. Most importantly the air conditioner worked a treat (thank goodness as the weather outside was so humid and oppressive). The staff were excellent.

Excellent location. Good pool. Large rooms.

Organising a late check in was awful and could have been much simpler. I was asked to EMAIL the front and back of my visa and my drivers license. When I said I wouldn't do this (my god, after all the scams that go on..) I was told I had to do it so I could check in unless I went via this link. Multiple times I asked to be directed to the link and after maybe 2 stressful hours of emails and phone calls it turns out the email with the link was sent to the wrong address and there was no apology. All went smoothly after that however it really soured the experience. There needs to be some customer training as I read after all this that others have had similar bad experiences.

Its situation. Close to The Strand, restaurants & coffee shops and in walking distance of supermarket & other stores. Clean towels daily, clean bedding every 3 days, beach towels supplied, tea, coffee, milk. Helpful & friendly staff. Lovely swimming pool.

Small issues: kitchen & balcony lights didn’t work, curtain in bedroom needed a little rehanging. None of these had a serious impact on my stay.

We had a very spacious 2 bedroom appartment. It was clean and comfortable with lots of storage. Kitchen well equiped, good water pressure in the shower. Lovely ocean views and hotel was close to many restaurants that were open on a public holiday. Receptionist could not have been more helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

Very, very slow wifi. It was like dial-up speed. Router was in the living room and we couldn't connect from the bedroom. Bathroom gouting could use a bit of bleach.
