Situated in a handy location, and very decently priced, this motel has a good deal going for it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and whilst the buildings themselves are not "new", they have been renovated to give a bright and cheery ambience. The carpark has adequate space and access to Hodel St which allows one to turn either way into the main road - it's best to use this entrance at all times.

Small gripe, and not one that every other traveler would necessarily agree with, was the soft pillows. We solved this by borrowing some pillows from our Townsville relations. The only other very small matter was the hot water in the shower in our room, where the washer needs replacing to prevent the constant dripping - and no, I didn't report this to the management, as I figure their cleaners will/should have noticed the issue on each occasion they enter the room.

Couldn't turn the TV on to watch TV or movies remote control and buttons on the TV to switch on manually didn't work either. Red light indicator showed these was power but just wouldn't turn on... mattresses weren't comfy as I'd hoped no extra pillows. curtains didn't full block out sunlight. Internet wasn't working even when connected to wifi which was a shame

I like the simple check in, the wifi is fantastic, the beds and rooms are clean and the bathrooms have always been up to standard. Nice central location to get in and out with ease.

The motel can't be blamed for the current issues in Townsville. It seems to be in an area where crime could happen easily and other illegal issues like drugs could be happening around the area. I have not had an issue but that is the only problem I can see.

Facility is great for FIFO workers as the laundry and taxi for transport is always available when arranged. Staff there at the time was very helpful weven at the last minutes due to problems faced by the cyclone.

Great value for money. Easy to find and was located close by to everything we needed. Rooms including bathrooms were spacious and clean. We were also able to park directly in front of our rooms which is really convenient when it decides to rain really heavily on the morning of your departure. Staff were friendly aswell which is always a big positive!

When you've world travelled as much as I have you know a gem when you see it. The owners make you feel like you're part of their extended family, they care about you & ensure your stay is one you're certain to repeat. Cleanliness & friendliness as advertised is the minimum of what you can expect, to honour one's words is a rare commodity now days!

The room had everything we wanted, it was comfortable, nice bed and hot shower. The location of the property suited us well for travelling around the Townsville area using it as a base. We went to magnetic island one day and the ferry car park was only 10 mins drive away which was convenient for us.

Basic motel style, and looked outside little bit rugged, but inside the room is very clean, I think it’s very new. Everything works and even the bathroom is modern and new.

If you are there because short stop and by car, this is very good option! But this is not the place for longer hotel vacation, because the location is not for that. Room itself could be good for that as well.

Great location, restaurant s nearby. Easy check in / out. Very clean. Supply of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers instead of bottles - environmentally friendly.

The noise of nearby room air-conditioning, fortunately not on all night.

The flyscreen on the window was damaged, made me feel uneasy of insects. The fellow next door was smoking and I had to tell him off. There was no No-smoking sign outside rooms visible to deter smokers, I was awaken by the smell of cigarete.
