Everything we needed was close at hand and is a rare pet friendly motel. There is a good walking or cycling track along the river. Facilities at the motel were clean and tidy with the rooms very comfortable and well equipped. The undercover car packing a bonus in the Townsville heat. Friendly staff willing to assist if needed.

Rooms are not soundproof and the smoke from anyone smoking close by can be smelt.

Loved that I could bring a third of my family there to attend a family event. Best part is having a shop at the reception area where we could get cold drinks from. My nephew's were obsessed about the pool we could never get them out until my sister put her angry face on. Would definitely go back on our next visit to Townsville

Very pleasant and welcoming staff, he helped me carry my bags from the reception to my room without me asking him, it's the first time! (I've been to hotels and motels...) Spacious room. Quiet place and you can come with a pet, and you have a private parking place! Very pleasant little pool!

Far from the centre. Not recommended for backpackers with only their legs to move around.

The location was perfect to shops and mountains for us to visit. Nice cosy room to accomodate our family, staff were very helpful throughout our stay, especially the kiosk they have at reception with essential things travellers tend to forget 😂 THANK you for being great host.

Loved the old-fashioned hospitality. The owners could not help us enough. Loved the pool area and Bbq facilities. the pool is crystal clear and the Bbq is clean. The bbq basket the owners provide you has all that you need to cook, store and serve your meal. Loved the free laundry. The laundry has washing machines and dryers that can be used by guests for free.

Great location, easy to find. Exceptionally clean and absolutely perfect for my quick overnight stop in Townsville with my dog. I appreciated how well Spanish Lace catered to my pet dog making us both feel so welcome! Thank you!

It was so clean,our little dog was delighted with his special garden area and the guest laundry was free as well as very clean. The location was fantastic with shops, food outlets and a service station very close
