Great value for money. This is not a resort Motel but was clean and basic.

unfortunately road works made it difficult to leave and enter, obviously not Motels fault. The room we were in had the neighbours car park space was right outside our door, so when they started their car we got a room full of car fumes (even when the door was shut). There is only one small mirror in the room and no hairdryer. Rooms are only serviced if you're there over 3 days too. On the bedhead in our room was an old strip light, which didn't work and you couldn't lean back and sit up in bed.

Pet friendly with a lovely fenced and grassed yard for the fur children. My fur babies are a “bit barky” so I appreciate the tolerance, particularly as when we stay, we are 3 days on the road. I stay here a couple of times each year on my driving trips between FNQ and Sunshine Coast. Super clean!! Nice towels and bedding. Love that there is a handwash in the bathroom. Good air conditioning. I have no complaints at all. To make things perfect I could suggest getting smart TVs or google chromes in the rooms and raising the height of the shower heads. These are not essential but the only improvements I can think of.

We really did love staying here. The people are great and it is very easy to find. We were staying for basketball and it was close to the stadium. I would definitely stay here again and tell all of our friends as well.

It was small. For a family room with five it was very crammed. There are other family rooms that we would try next time but it was just beds in a room which is fine for overnight but for weekends of sport the facilities weren’t great for us. I did have friends in another family room and theirs was amazing I just got the wrong room for us.

Aircon in room taking a long time to cool down and key needed to switch it on is not removable from room key ring so when you go out and come back after an hour it’s hot and muggy in the room ….. I do understand to turn it off when you out all day but if it’s only for an hour I like it to be cool when I come back.

Nice sized room. Bus stop accross the road. Microwave, toaster and kettle in room. Enough for breakfast. Staff were lovely and accommodating. The free laundry was a great bonus.

The bed in our first room was a bit hard. We were asked if we wanted to try another room, which we did and found it a little better.

Everything we needed was close at hand and is a rare pet friendly motel. There is a good walking or cycling track along the river. Facilities at the motel were clean and tidy with the rooms very comfortable and well equipped. The undercover car packing a bonus in the Townsville heat. Friendly staff willing to assist if needed.

Rooms are not soundproof and the smoke from anyone smoking close by can be smelt.

3rd time staying here. Owners always so lovely and helpful. Great cleans and tidy facilities close to everything you need.

Just wish we could use the frypan or be able to cook a few basic things in our family room. Would make it much better travelling with our kids for sport being able to provide good quality snacks we can make at home.

Loved that I could bring a third of my family there to attend a family event. Best part is having a shop at the reception area where we could get cold drinks from. My nephew's were obsessed about the pool we could never get them out until my sister put her angry face on. Would definitely go back on our next visit to Townsville

This was the perfect place for us, and it's pet friendly, which was fantastic. Our room was very clean and tidy with space to move around it even had a little area where you can take your pet. It's close to the shops and not far from the shopping centre. The staff is amazing 👏. We are definitely going to book this again. 😀

Very pleasant and welcoming staff, he helped me carry my bags from the reception to my room without me asking him, it's the first time! (I've been to hotels and motels...) Spacious room. Quiet place and you can come with a pet, and you have a private parking place! Very pleasant little pool!

Far from the centre. Not recommended for backpackers with only their legs to move around.
