I like the location just 3 minutes from the beach. Great big balcony with amazing views. Big apartment with all kitchen dishes and appliances.

I didn't like that the table in the apartment was all sticky and didn't feel clean. Also, don't understand why guests need to wash and out away all dishes otherwise they need to pay $60. Never happened to me that I would need to wash and out away dishes otherwise I get charge extra. I thought that's why I pay so much money for the accommodation that the housekeeping does the cleaning. Also don't like that the hotel is not sustainable and tells guests to keep air con running nonstop otherwise that would be a problem with mold. I think they might be more sustainable solutions than running two air con units nonstop in one apartment.

The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. The view was breathtaking! Having the island shuttle bus terminating its loop right at the apartment reception was a big plus!! Cockatoos visiting the balcony all the time were cute - like friends dropping by.

Beware of food with the cockatoos - either eating outside or leaving the balcony doors wide open when you're not in the living room!! The property insists on using air conditioning at all times in wet season for humidity control - we would have been more comfortable without it on much of the time (we like hot & humid!)

Fantastic location directly opposite Catseye Beach and the Bougainvillea Pool. Great space, quite big for a hotel room. Like the way we could configure the beds in living area (put them together for a large double, or keep them separate). Looks of storage space under beds. Kitchen was well appointed and a good size. Lovely view of Catseye Beach. Having the shuttle bus stop located at reception was a bonus, and ample buggy spaces in front of reception too. Staff were always friendly and helpful. We required someone to look at our air conditioner which was leaking, and the maintenance man was super quick to attend, friendly and efficient in fixing the problem :) Highly recommend this accommodation for a family of 4 or 5. We liked the flexibility of having the extra bed in the main bedroom, and the vanity/extra bathroom sink in the main bedroom in addition to the main bathroom. House keeping was great too. We loved the pool and always plenty of space for everyone, despite being school holidays.

Great apartment. Comfy bed. Excellent air conditioning. Great to have an equipped kitchen. Lovely pool and gardens.

It would be awesome to have a cafe/bar so you could hang by the pool all day. The pool lounges are very hard. They need cushions on them.

Clean, location , spacious

Having to complain about early morning noise. However my complaint was addressed to the credit of the staff. Didnt like being on the ground floor

The view from the apartments is lovely - classic Whitsundays. You can only glimpse the sunset from here but the daytime view is lovely. The resort pool is pretty good but even better is the public pool next to the beach below the apartments - or the sea at high tide. There are only a few places to eat very nearby but the shops are only a 10 minute walk away and there is also a free public shuttle that comes every 15 minutes. The apartments themselves are very clean and comfortable, with full kitchens.

A later checkout would have been appreciated. The kitchen extraction fan blows straight back into the kitchen.

They charged because I was 30min late in the checkout even though the occupancy of the apartments was very low

I was asked by WAHI and I provided the information that this was a celebratory visit for my 80 th and my wife's 78 th birthday on 30 and 31 August 2024, respectively. WAHI responded by providing an upgraded room with spectacular views over Catseye beach to Whitsunday Island, vice the original garden view apartment we had booked, and with a bottle of Oatleys riesling in the fridge, upon our arrival. This was a truly wonderful and much appreciated gesture by WAHI management. Further, we asked for and received, at no extra cost, a two hour extension to our occupancy on the final day which allowed us to have one more swim in their exceptionally maintained resort lagoon pool.

Location is the best! View is amazing. We stayed at WAHI for 4 nights and I would say this was the best decision. The reception who checked us in are very helpful with explaining all the information we needed. We are celebrating our babymoon and they recognise our special occasion. Shuttle bus from airport to hotel are provided, and there are regular shuttle bus to go to the Marina, IGA so it was super convenient. Self contained apartment, fully equipped with kitchen utensils, microwave and kitchenette.

Internet was abit slow, and disconnected twice. Abit noisy if you staying in the lower floor, noise from bus. No restaurant onsite.

We moved here after 2 nights at Beach Club as we couldn't book there for our full time on Hamilton Island so I was a little worried as Whitsunday Apartments definitely aren't as luxurious but it was actually fine. The staff are all really great, we were given a room on the top floor so the views were fab and despite other reviews I'd read our room was very clean. The shuttle bus into town and around the island stops right outside the hotel and runs every 10 mins which is really helpful.

The rooms and public areas are all a bit dated.
