Amazing resort. Staff are fab, and very accomodating. The room is massive, large balcony and TV in the bedroom and also in the lounge. (1 bed apartment) Massive spa and 2 seperate basins which was awesome! Happy hour daily. Great cocktails Beautiful walk down to Airlie centre. POD coffee machine and milk frother was such a bonus! Comfy couch.freezing aircon x 2. Great options at restaurant and a seperate room service menu too.

The hills! Golly gosh! Make sure your car has a bit of power to get up the very steep driveway! Checking in was confusing. Wasn’t sure where to park to check in and no signage’s expect for ‘no parking’ (I parked in the first underground parking and walked up to reception (on level 3) Not much signage around the stairs to point you in correct directions. To get to the apartments you had to walk up stairs, no lifts. although it was only 1 flight, if you have a few bags this will be a hassle.

Really great value for money - had a very resort feel for a very reasonable price. The restaurant is alfresco style with a beautiful view. The included breakfast was a full meal made to order from the menu so you don’t get bored of the same meal each day. Portions were very generous so we were able to make the most of it. There was a free yoga session on Saturday morning which we loved. Has a little gym & nice pool. You can order poolside drinks & snacks. Staff were all very helpful & can arrange lifts in the buggy if you need help to get down the hill with bags. The location was fantastic for the marina where all our tours left from & it was an easy walk into town other than the hill! We loved our stay here - would highly recommend.

It’s worth knowing that the driveway & a lot of the property is incredibly steep. Could be a real problem for anyone with mobility issues or injuries. They offer a free shuttle into town at set times of the day which was very popular, & you can give reception a call & ask for a buggy to meet you at the bottom of the hill or help you get up to your room. Walking it was our exercise for the week! Our bathroom had an amazing huge spa bath but the shower had no door & water went everywhere every time we used it, so that was a bit frustrating, especially with no servicing of the rooms. Feel like they should install a sliding door or something & then that problem would be totally fixed.

Amazing views, spa was great, facilities (gym, pool and outdoor spa) were great, room size was excellent, had a kitchen, TVs in lounge and main room, balcony was a good size and well covered. Staff were mostly great, food was good for breakfast and the bar was had a decent selection.

Beside one lazy member who would say he would do things regarding wifi and pickup/dropoff to the street (the hill was insanely steep for walking up and down) and would do it extremely late or not at all, the rest were great. The pillows and blankets weren't very comfy and the AC in the bedroom wasn't very strong.

The hotel was very nice and the location up the hill provided a spectacular view over the bay. Driving up there was quite steep but manageable. The staff at the reception was really nice and friendly, also most of the staff in the restaurant was friendly. We only had breakfast at the restaurant which was good. The apartment had everything we needed and the kitchen was also fully equipped. We loved the balcony even tough the weather was not so nice during our stay. You need to walk a little to get to the town center but the location is still good for exploring.

Overall the apartment seemed clean but with a baby crawling around you easily see when it is not. Would be great if they clean the floor a bit better. Our baby had completely black feet and hands after just a few minutes.

The view from the room is amazing, the whole stay was very comfortable and had all the amenities you needed. There was a huge bath in the room which was nice as there was often lots of kids in the hot tub in the pool so we opted to do this instead and this was just as good! We would definitely return in the future as the place is great

Breakfast and the service was a bit disappointing, felt like the staff could have been a bit more attentive and welcoming, having said that staff on the desk were helpful. The showers do leak out and into the bathroom which does leave it wet for a long time

Fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay including washer and dryer. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Shower didn't drain properly, and was a slip hazard because of incorrect installation tile. Shower door had no seal and leaked. Staff gave us rubber mats, which helped.

The room was well situated, with a fabulous view, and comfortable bed. There is a free shuttle bus into the town, but we didn't use it as it's just a 20 minute walk to everything you need. It's a very steep hill, but even in our 70;s we managed just fine. The staff were absolutely brilliant, helpful, professional and friendly.

Not much not to like, but we both found it a bit odd that, when you pay extra for breakfast to be included, you still have to pay for a cup of coffee to have with it. Not a major issue, but a bit bizarre for an accommodation in that price point. Although the room was lovely, neat and tidy, it was evident that the floor was not clean when we took off our shoes and after while, when we showered there was dirt from the bottom of our feet. We hadn't been barefoot anywhere else.

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with Ocean / Marina view from master bedroom and balcony. It has all that you would need... both bedrooms had ensuites, balcony with alfresco dining, european laundry with washer n dryer, electric cooktop, oven, kettle and fridge. Only thing missing was microwave. But we didn't cook, so didn't miss it. Our family totally loved the accommodation. Inclusive ala carte breakfast, which was quite handy for early morning start! Overall good value for money!

Location - its on a hill top, very steep to climb! So had to use taxis to and from from the town. Although the resort has a shuttle bus to take residents downhill, however last bus is at 6.30pm...nothing after dinners! Pool - it was not heated and Spa was always busy, given the size. Although in Qld, pool does need heating especially in the winter months. All inclusive breakfast was ala-carte and needed extras (hashbrowns, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc) to be paid extra! Usually, this is part of buffet breakfast at 4 star hotels!

We certainly liked the view. We liked the spacious open design of kitchen and loungeroom. The front balcony was really good for relaxing although not private.

The steep driveway was a shocker! I was under the impression that the numbered parking bays related directly to your room number but it really was grab a spot and park. The ensuite had a massive spa bath. Everywhere we have been, we are asked to conserve water. Well what a waste of water to have used that spa. I personally would have appreciated a decent sized shower, more cupboard space and less spa. One had to sidle past the spa to get to the toilet.

Views from the apartment were exceptional. Large spacious apartment. Had all the facilities you needed.

First impressions our apartment (133) was very tired and obviously not renovated for a long time. The unit door was not painted there were handles falling off the doors to the balcony and main bedroom, and some stains on the couches. The mattress on the main bed was very poor, needed to request 2 more toppers to be able to sleep comfortably. Massive spa bath in the bathroom was very much in the way. Hard to navigate in the dark to get to the toilet…! Way to big to actually use for the water conscious.
