Excellent location near Adelaide CBD, in front of a beautiful park. Public transport (buses) available at the doorsteps. Friendly reception staff who were very quick to help/sort out queries. Punctual and efficient room cleaning service. Ample parking space for the cars. Room allocated to me was more spacious than I expected. Can avail Uber eats and other services to deliver food items from many CBD and surrounding hotels at nominal delivery charges.

This is just a suggestion about the breakfast option (from the in-house restaurant Angus & co) to extend to all days in the week.

The location was perfect, it was very clean and the staff were very friendly. I have stayed before and this time was just as nice. I will definitely stay again. It is a very nice place for the cost.

Minor issue but the pool was too cold to go in when I visited. Due to covid we couldnt go in the sauna either which was a bit of a let down but im sure I will come again and be able to use these facilities.

Staff, service, cleanliness and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the meal I had at night was excrptional.

Room had air conditioner that I couldn't get to work. Thankfully the celing fan was operational although at the high speed it had a distinct wobble. The toilet seat was odd. In comparison the room was a let down to the other rooms in the establishments, which I have stayed in on my trips to Adelaide over the years. Bit dissapointing.

The room was dated and a little worn out and tired looking. The television was hard to use and no accessible entertainment. Although very clean, the room would benefit from an update.hairline Cracked basin and tiles. Just from age and a lot of use.

The staff were good except one who rudely told us to leave the pool past regular check out time even though we argued that we had paid for late check out. No apologies were given when she realised she was wrong.

My workshop was in the BotanIcal gardens so I was able to walk there each day from the hotel. The hotel was quiet and the food was well prepared and economical.

Some of the staff were not familiar with the area around the hotel so they were not much help when I was trying to find a post office or a business centre. It would have been helpful to have a business centre in the hotel as there isn't one anywhere near the hotel.

Good value for money. Rooms were small but had everything you needed that you would get in a five star hotel. Bed was a king so very spacious. Daily housekeeping was fantastic, making the beds, emptying bins and restocking towels was lovely. Able to login to Netflix which was nice. Having wash and lotion in the bathrooms were an added novelty. Easy to get an Uber into the city which is only a km away/or could walk.

Could hear people in the hallway, and could hear the busy road especially during peak hours. First in best dressed for parking. The parking area would be full by 5pm.

Location is absolutely the best. easy walk to the city and parklands, easy access to Rundle st and the restaurants. The staff are great fun and good to chat with, really went the extra mile... especially Doris!

the hotel is a little older now and has the 'old world' experience,. probably needs an extension of the bar for late night guests.

Location fantastic as we could walk to Norwood Football Club. Only a short, inexpensive Uber/Taxi ride into the city. Room was of a good size. Definitely some traffic noise but you have to expect that with the location (main road). Beds were really comfortable. Shower pressure was brilliant and air conditioner worked beautifully which is essential in the middle of an Adelaide winter.

Criticism Parking: There was a function one night and we had to park our rental car on the back street over a yellow line (which in Qld is illegal). If the car had been run into it would have been a very costly stay. Restaurant: The restaurant isn't open over the weekend. We did eat there however and the food/pricing was good. There is a pub (Britannia) an easy walk up the road which serves food 7-days a week.

The location was great for our purpose. Breakfast was ready when we wanted. Friendly staff.

It would be better if a water bottle was available in the room. We arrived late when the reception was closed. But I couldn't find drinking water until the next morning. Also, if there is a microwave oven to share in a common place for guests, that would be great.

A nice, friendly reception and a comfortable, very spacious room. A nice bed. The restaurant and bar was good, as was the continental breakfast.

The basin in the shower room was unsightly as a previous guest had burnt it with cigarettes. We reported this, and reception noted our concern, so I expect this will be dealt with soon.
