Beautiful property, very well looked after, nice gardens, quiet, relaxing setting. Lovely to have a glass of wine in front of the fire. Staff were very helpful, attentive. Bedroom was spacious, bath was nice, good shower. Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking, easy to drive to everything.

Wifi didn't work well (persistent issue). Air con seemed stuck at 20C, unable to move. Some details in the room were a little shabby (e.g. areas that needed painting)

The staff, rooms, cleanliness, it was such a wonderful relaxing stay. Nothing was too much to ask. The views from the breakfast area were stunning.

The food at breakfast needed some improvement. The poached eggs were lovely, but the bacon overcooked. The second breakfast (sausage hotpot) was cold and overall a bit flavourless. Also, not having staff or a bottle of wine or even tea available around the fireplace would have topped off the experience. This was the only downside to our stay. They provided lovely cooked cakes and slices in our room.

I was very impressed with the hotel's cleanliness, style and aesthetics, from the communal areas to the room itself. For the price we paid for the room, I think we received exceptional value. The staff was great at every interaction and I will definitely come back and stay here again. The location was fantastic; it's truly is a gem in Hobart.

I wish the hotel had a pool but the beautiful rooms, gardens and outdoor areas more than make up for this.

A beautiful place to stay. Older vic style decor, clean rooms, exceptional service. Food is amazing (we had breakfast daily), the gardens were so lovely, and there’s plenty of space to sit and relax outside of your room. It was so peaceful and quiet. The location is very central close to the main city, parks, and well known places. There is also private parking available.

Could not fault much other than very small things like the mirror being too short in our bathroom (we’re both tall).

Location, hotel’s interior 、exterior and the staff are all perfect. We stayed at here for one night, the staff was so friendly, he explained all the information clearly. When we are waiting for the check in process, he served us a cup of hot tea, it was really sweet and warm especially in this cold winter. The room prices also included a range of meals and drinks for the breakfast, it is definitely valuable. Highly recommend people come to stay, such a beautiful place, you can relax your mind all the time.

Amazing property, and breakfast was also wonderful. Beds were super comfortable and staff very attentive. Loved the homely feel of this boutique hotel.

Being winter it was freezing in Hobart and the room only had a little blow heater and small oil heater to keep the space warm. Not sure if the normal heating system wasn't working? Also, it would have been nice to have an electric blanket or a hot water bottle as I was a little cold trying to warm up to sleep.

Every part of this stay was incredible. The garden view from our room, the views from the garden, the dining area & kitchen. Big thank you especially to the staff, never have I experienced such lovely staff at a hotel who go so out of their way to make visitors feel welcome and catered to. My partner and I will definitely return here on our next trip here and we will highly recommend this hotel to family & friends who plan to visit Tasmania.

Absolutely nothing.

Comfortable bed, lovely breakfasts, loved that the fires in each room where light.

The water was luke warm when the hotel was full. A toaster in room would have been handy. A better selection of nibbles on hand (the same each day was provided) would have been appreciated. Basic room service would have been amazing too (toasties, pasta, meals easily warmed do no chef necessary).

Great location. Has a lovely feel. Service was very good great staff

Could argue is a tad run down but nothing major. Could benefit from some additions such as hot tubs or saunas. Maybe a gym. I guess though if you wanted those things you could stay elsewhere

Our stay at this lovely and charming hotel was made exceptional by the attention that was given to us by Marc and his capable team. Being greeted by a relaxing cup of tea in the morning room after a long, busy day was just the perfect beginning to our stay. The food was amazing with the quality of the local Tassie produce shining through, and the views - be it from our room or the gorgeous conservatory were simply stunning. The breakfast was included in the room cost and we appreciated the array of delicious options. The turn-down service was a special touch and my husband and I felt pampered and relaxed during our entire stay. A special mention of Marc - he went the extra mile with our requests and made us feel special. We wouldn't hesitate to come back here - especially because of the care extended to us.

Can't say anything that we didn't like or enjoy. This is a truly exceptional hotel with wonderful service.
