Location was fantastic. As was the view. The restaurant for dinner was exceptional. Food was delicious.

Sadly the breakfast wasnt great especially for the money. The hashbrowns were oily and like rocks and eggs were bit tasteless. We were also looking forward to swimming every morning but the pool was cold. They had to replace a part in it (which I know happens) but we asked a couple of days later at reception if it was heated now and we were told it was. We went down the next morning and the maintenance guy told us it wouldnt be fixed before we left.

Comfy rooms, nice restaurant and bar downstairs, excellent pool and saunas.

At check-in, I booked on-site parking for the last 2 nights of our 5 night stay, and was told it was all booked and to come to reception to collect access key. When I did this, I was told the carpark was full and they did not have my booking. Was offered off-site parking, which was inconvenient as my parents both have mobility issues and meant we had to change plans. Last night we were able to use on-site parking and saw there were 2 disability parking spaces, 1 of which had a work Ute parked in it (no permit). We were not offered these, and were left quite disappointed by the mix-up.

Once we were able to get the room cool, it was a nice place and we had a good view (deluxe king with a bar fridge). They have a great Laundry facility (speedy), a nice pool and gym, and the shower is very good. It's paid parking (not free). We opted for the underground parking which can get crowded, but we were able to find a spot. The location is quite good - we were walking distance from most town sights. And there's a big grocery store about a 15 min walk.

* The hotel thermostat is totally messed up because the symbol for cool is the same as the symbol for heat and it doesn't match the order of the sign that provides instructions. We had to have somebody come up and show us how to get the room cool. (see photo) * We arrived before check in time, and the front desk staff said they were going to email us when the room was ready, but did not. The room they had assigned to us wasn't ready but there was another one just like it -- if we hadn't asked, we wouldn't have gotten in. * We asked for ice and they said they'd bring it right up, but 30 minutes later we still didn't have it, so I went down to get it. * They do not have hand towels, only wash cloths, which make drying your hands after using the bathroom very difficult.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for me to get to the office. I was lucky enough to get an onsite carpark, this was excellent. The space was clean comfortable.

I had breakfast included however could not find information on where to go to get breakfast or if it could be ordered for room service. Staff providing this at check in would be helpful especially if you have breakfast included in your stay cost. Would be nice if food orders from outside of the accommodation could be delivered to your door rather than having to come down to the lobby. The QR code is good but would be better if it took you to the information most people would look for, as mentioned above.

More information about Hobart cbd for tourists Heated pool ( was cold ) we had a room below the pool and unfortunately you can hear people walking above you and the gym above also noisy till 10pm I would ask for a high room than level 2 next time rooms at front of property were noisy from traffic so I’d ask for room out the back of property but would still book again as the property is well looked after and pleasant staff

It was located in a great area. 10 minute walk to Salamanca markets, also to the Mona ferry (prepare to walk up hill to get back to the hotel though). The bed was comfortable for a double bed. The restaurant in the hotel was nice, the food was good too and you could order through your phone to pick up from them.

The rooms are quite small but we were out and about most of the time and only really slept in the room. This isn’t a bad thing but I’m assuming it’s the new norm. There is nothing in the ‘mini bar’ other than milk/coffee/tea, and hotels (not just this one) don’t seem to do room service anymore.

The location is great. The hop-on hop-off bus stop is just behind the hotel. The skybus bus stop is also a block away. The restaurant and bar is just downstairs. Pretty convenient. The parking is not on-site, but it is just behind the hotel. So, it is ok.

The noise. I heard the loud noise sounds like a truck moved over the room in the morning at 6:30 am for both night I stayed. At night, I also heard the noise like someone throwing glass bottles into a bin. The noise in the evening lasts for hours. I’m staying in the room at the end of the hallway. I’m not sure if it is because of the location of the room. I was busy with the tours I booked, so I didn’t have time to change the room. But, I’ll not recommend staying at the room at the end of the hallway.

Bed was very comfy. Pretty much everything I needed. Was able to store my luggage for a while, so I got to explore a bit more. Much appreciated! Very convenient location if you plan to get the Skybus. It's stop number 4 on Collins Street (just behind) Macquarie Street. There's another walkway up a slight hill, look for the limestone brick wall and it's walkway. Or just walk around the block, as Google Maps shows you.

The desk could have been wiped down a bit better. There was drops of the other person who'd stayed drink, food and hair on the desk. The shower head could maybe do with a replacement but this is such a minor thing.

The room was very clean, and modern bathroom with great shower. The bed was very comfortable. We had a great night sleep for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was fabulous - every choice you could want in a buffet. The location was within easy walking distance of Salamanca Markets, which is the reason we chose this hotel. The staff were very friendly on check-in and check out. Would highly recommend.

Car parking was confusing at first (we parked in the Village Cinemas car park behind the hotel), but that became clear once the staff explained it. And it's an easy walk through. It wasn't such a negative thing really.
