It was nice to have a little kitchenette for the 6 night stay and the space we had.. the cleaners did a great job of keeping our apartment clean and were very friendly when we saw them in the hallway
Probably the car parking but it wasn’t St Ives fault. It was frustrating that people crossed the line when parking. Reception were very helpful and helped us on one occasion when we nearly missed out on a spot because someone took up two spots. Our car was quite long as well so it was difficult to park up the end after 9pm if most had cars parked already. But im saying this, we always found a spot and St Ives staff were very accomodating and helpful if we arrived before they closed.

The location was great and our apartment had a nice view. The staff were lovely, friendly and polite. Plenty of visitors car park and all in all, we enjoyed our stay.
The entrance and reception area were fairly small, and there wasn’t enough space for guest while waiting. I think the management could possibly consider putting some benches in the car park area for the guests to rest. 2. The freezer part in the fridge in the smaller suite we had, wasn’t working unfortunately. 3. The cleaners were forgetting to restock the supplies and didn’t clean the bathroom probably but in general, they were nice, approachable and trustworthy. Please consider my comments as constructive feedback for improvement, otherwise everything was totally fine.

Pretty much everything about the property was lovely, the staff were wonderful and the room was clean. The towels were nice and fluffy and soaps and things provided were nice to have. The shower had wonderful water pressure and all the utilities of the kitchen were great, it was nice to be able to just have some toast in the morning and not eat out for every single meal! Having so many spaces within the one room was great too, I didn’t feel like I had to just sit on the bed when we came back during the day. I loved the desk and the little dining table being separate. I was also very thankful for a built in luggage bench. Having free parking was a massive bonus, because we paid for parking almost everywhere we went around the city. That said, the property was very central and within walking distance to Salamanca and other hot spots. I would absolutely stay here again!
The only thing I didn’t like was the courtyard, it hadn’t been cleaned and there was someone else’s wet clothes out there, and it was just a fully enclosed brick space with some sad plants. We didn’t really use this space though as we were mostly out enjoying Hobart

Location to Hobart CBD and surronds execellent. Servicing of apartments excellent (even on Sundays and Public Holidays!). Room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. All staff were respectful and obliging.
Soundproofing of apartments appears to be inadequate. Person in next apartment appeared to have a medical condition which caused them to cough, wheeze and clear their throat through out the night which resulted in seven nights of interrupted sleep. Also, sound of plumbing from within and and adjacent apartments was loud.

I would like to fist mention the staff. Every staff member we interacted with was wonderful and very helpful. We were able to get suggestions and advice on a range of things making our time a lot easier. The flexibility that we were shown was great. We had only intended on staying 3 nights, but with the room being so nice and comfortable we stayed an extra two nights. The staff happily arranged it so we could stay the extra time in the same room. The room itself was clean and perfect for what we needed during our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, so much so we asked the staff for the model and we will be buying our own.
The only negative comment I could make was the lack of sound proofing. Being able to hear some elses loud conversation and TV at night had interrupted sleep.

The room provided everything we needed for our short stay including tea/coffee/milk/toaster/microwave etc, was close to the centre of Hobart and provided off street parking which was important to us. The room was clean and tidy, extra pillows were provided as requested and the TV in the room is one of the biggest I have ever seen in a hotel room.
The female receptionist that greeted us on the first day was very cheerful, helpful and friendly. The receptionist on the second day however was grumpy, couldn't even get a smile out of him and when asking him for directions to walk to the Salamanca markets, we were told, turn right, down the road and follow your nose. Not much in the way of directions but he obviously didn't want to help any further. Definitely felt that he didn't want to be there at all and certainly didn't appear to enjoy his job.

The apartment itself was excellent. Very clean-actually spotless. We found it to be very quiet. Facilities were great. Appreciated the kitchenette and laundry facilities. In a great location. We decided not to have a hire car whilst in Hobart. Only a short walk to shops. A ten minute walk to Salamanca market area and Marina. The hop on hop off bus stop was directly opposite the apartment. We loved Hobart! If we ever have the opportunity to come again we would definitely stay at St Ives apartments.

The room and ensuite was spacious, clean, modern and well appointed. Linen was clean and the bed was comfy. Appreciated the complimentary toiletries and daily tidy of the room. The location was literally 5 minutes from Hobart CBD, and Sandy Bay, which we loved. Our room was in a section of the hotel that enabled us to park directly in front of it, which was appreciated. Laundry facilities were excellent and easy to use.
We could hear our neighbours above us, but they were loud and their kids were constantly running around and up and down stairs. Not the hotels fault, but it did require us to go and knock on their door at one point.

Loved the location, walking distance to everywhere I needed to go including Hampden St, Salamanca and the CBD. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and I enjoyed having a little kitchenette so I could store a few groceries, make my breakfast etc. The staff I met were super friendly and they made it so easy when I asked to extend my stay. Bonus that there's a small liquorland on the way in if you fancy a bottle of wine for your room :-)
As high maintenance as it sounds, a nespresso machine in the room or at least some better coffee options onsite rather than nescafe blend 43 sachets would have made things perfect. The wifi signal could use some boosting. I was trying to work from my room but it kept dropping out so I had to hotspot from my phone. But these were completely manageable and wouldn't stop me coming again.

Room was very good, clean and tidy. House keeping came daily and made up our room to a excellent standard. Bedding was comfortable we had extra pillows and blankets provided. Staff were friendly and remembered my little girls name, the room had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, we had breakfast in our room the little kitchenette in the room was super handy. Was easy walking distance from lots of shops and supermarkets
Was a little bit of road noise of a night due to the location and parking was a little tricky as it was full we just parked across the road overnight as we were out all day exploring the local area.
