This is a great little apartment hotel in a superb location. The rooms are large, comfortable and well equiped. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from Salamanca Place (and markets) and the historic Hobart docks. Highly recommended.

The only major issue with this property is the parking - there is very limited onsite parking and the surrounding area is 2 hour metered during the week. We were fortunate to be there over a weekend and public holidays, so it wasn't an issue, but the other options are public carparks around the city.

Huge room, wth plenty of seating and a large dining table and chairs. Galley kitchen. Bathroom was good, with a washing machine as well. Bed was enormous and very comfortable. Great location near the park, and a short walk to Salamanca, the wharf, shops. Would definitely recommend, and would come again.

There are a couple of maintenance issues - We couldn't pull down one of the blinds, which did get repaired. But the chain broke again. Didn't matter to us, as the blind was 3/4 down and fine. Kitchen cupboard above the sink, where the crockery was, would not stay open, as one of the supports was broken. Remove this door and have open shelves would be far better. Microwave was complex, and as it was VERY low, hard to read the operational buttons. Would be better on the bench top. Tiny freezer in the tiny fridge, did not have a door. Very hard when you buy ice cream. There was a huge space for a full size fridge. When you stay for a week, really need a better place for food. So kitchen in general needs an upgrade. The TV sound was pretty rough. Probably needs to be updated

Location was excellent. A well set out apartment. Did find a blanket in the cupboard (doonas are just too hot, even in Tassie, in summer!), which was great. I had forgotten to book parking initially, but was able to secure the first couple of nights before we arrived and then able to take advantage of some cancellations to end up with parking for our whole stay.

A dishwasher is nice, but you need extra plates and cutlery to make use of it! We had 3 of most things, but for 2 of us, that did not really make less washing up! Some regular dishwashing liquid would have been helpful. Also some more bowls to use in the microwave! Not having a cook top made some self catering a bit tricky (but we managed!).

I stayed in a one bed apartment for 5 nights in Dec 2023 (it was Room 305). The property is in a very good location (next to St David's Park and only a couple of minutes walk to Salamanca / Battery Point). The staff were really friendly. The room was large (a decent sized lounge with desk / kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom), clean, and had all I needed for a short stay (a fridge and microwave, a washing machine, etc). There is also a small on-site car park that can fit approximately 10 cars.

Everything about my stay was excellent. One potential concern some folks may have is that there isn't a 24 hour reception, but it is possible to collect your room keys out of hours and there is an on-site manager. If you just want a nice apartment, with none of the other amenities of a hotel (e.g., a gym or pool), then this place is perfect.

Really helpful and welcoming service, very spacious room with great facilities, and convenient location a short walk from Salamanca markets and the mall. Kitchen in room was very handy (although having no cooktop limited possibilities somewhat). Really appreciated having a coffee pod machine and pods provided! Washing machine/dryer in room was also super handy. Overall a very comfortable stay - will definitely stay again.

Cleanliness was lacking - a few grubby marks on walls in bathroom and kitchen cupboards etc, and dirty dishes/utensils in kitchen. Thin walls so quite noisy when other guests were in the hallway, plus noise from the lift doors banging shut woke me a few mornings.

No breakfast provided. The location was excellent.

The bed wasn’t comfortable. New mattresses would be great. I had to clean the drawers in the bedroom and bathroom before I could put my items inside and a thorough dusting of everything should be carried out. One shelf in the bathroom cupboard was broken and a drawer in the kitchen needed fixing. They are minor except for the bed and the staff were very willing and concerned to get the maintenance person to fix them.

Our room was enormous! Great to have so much space. The location is excellent. A short walk to the port area and Salamanca Place.

We had a bit of trouble getting in when we arrived. Our flight was delayed by two and a half hours so there was no-one on Reception to let us in. We followed the instructions on the wall by the door. It took ages for someone to answer. Meanwhile it’s late and cold outside. It probably took 20 minutes before we got our key and we’re able to go in.

The staff at reception were fabulous, friendly, and very helpful. The room/apartment was very clean. The location was excellent. The system for getting in when reception was closed worked easily (a wifi type tag)

The bed was big but very uncomfortable. The linen involved sheets ie no doona cover. There was a bottom sheet, a top sheet, and an over the nude doona sheet. The doona was very heavy and hard to move. The bed was hard as a rock (a soft "mattress topper" under the bottom sheet was nice) with a ridge in the middle which meant I kept waking up on the edge of the bed tangled up in doona and sheets several times a night. I had the worst sleep in a hotel I can remember.

very helpful staff, helped us out with an issue even after hours. location is excellent and an easy walk down to the marina, Salamanca, and into the city. the little kitchenette is a great feature but there are also many places to eat or take away within a short walk. room is lovely and big. we booked the on-site car park ahead of time which was very convenient for us, and a great feature.

the windows don’t open for fresh air. I know very typical of a hotel as this so not a downside/reason not to stay. just nice to have fresh air if possible.

The location is excellent, centrally situated with convenient access to almost every major city attraction on foot. The staff is exceptionally friendly and highly accommodating. The rooms, while slightly dated, are tastefully furnished and exceedingly comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities.
