Location of the Motel was pretty much prime to what we wanted to do, Wife wanted to Catch prawns and i hadnt realize that i had booked a stay which was quite close to our activities, Michelle and Christian were great to deal with, we were coming in late of the Friday long weekend, and she had checked up on us a few times to see how far out and how our drive was going, Christian told us of a few good spots for prawning and where we could fish . When we did see them in the morning, they greeted us cheerfully. Room was quite spacious and Clean for the two of us. Cant Fault the Motel, despite being busy, Christian and Michelle didnt let down their customer service

The room was very clean and comfy and the location was excellent being so close to shops and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The husband even went as far as cleaning our car front and back windscreen early in the morning before we left. What a lovely surprise and a wonderful touch of kindness. I would most definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

The only comment for area for improvement would be the coffee sachets. Perhaps considering a different brand. But this is only a small thing and should not deter anyone from staying in this wonderful hidden gem.

The location was perfect and the friendliness of the staff really made our short stay in Lakes Entrance memorable! Sorry we can’t remember any names but the lady on reception who checked us in was so helpful and had amazing recommendations for coffee and what to do in the morning the next day (we went to Raymond Island to see the koalas!!!). In the morning the man who I gave the keys to said he had cleaned our front and back windscreens for us which we were so thankful for as the front one was cover in bugs 😅 If I ever plan on staying in Lakes Entrance again, I would love to stay here!! Thank you.

A lovely comfortable motel room with all the facilities you need for a limited self catering eg breakfast. Within walking distance to restaurants and the attractions of Lake Entrance (some you need a car for) Walking distance to the footbridge to beaches, heritage houses and a pier where we did see seals playing. The chap who checked us in was super helpful and friendly.

It was a little further out of the main area than I had thought. Very noisy fellow guests children at the pool in the morning, guess you cant hold the place responsible for that, a bit early to be letting off that much steam :(

Guessing it is due to regulation requirements, this motel has a restrict rule on # of guest per room per night. We initially planned to keep the little on with in-laws in a different hotel. But it didn't quite work work out in the way we planned. Long story short, the little one firstly decided to stay with me so my wife moved to the in-laws place, but at about 9:30pm, he wanted to have his mother back so we had to break the rule to have three of us staying overnight there. Apparently, this has been perceived as 'lying to my face' by the staff at the check-out (which is understandable). I felt there is no need to explain the situation as I was emotional about the whole thing at the time too. Anyway, I just had to apologise to the staff and left.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the kitchenette was very handy. It was great to have a dedicated sink to wash our dishes in. There was a lounge to rest on as well as the bed, I really appreciated this. the barbeques was very clean and well equipped. It was efficient and I was able to cook our dinner quickly. I really appreciated this as it was a mid winter evening. The managers were very friendly helpful. I came out in the morning to find the gentleman cleaning the window on every ones cars.

The only problem was that it was difficult to control the temperature of the shower

Cunningham Shore Motel provides a wonderful stay for those visiting the area. The motel's prime location offers nice views of the shore and easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff members are super friendly and gave me lots of recommendations to visit. The motel's attention to cleanliness and hygiene is commendable, making guests feel safe and secure during their stay. Additionally, the on-site facilities, such as the pool and BBQ area, add an extra layer of enjoyment for guests. Overall, Cunningham Shore Motel offers a pleasant and relaxing experience. Clean and spacious room, recently refurbished (painted and recarpeted), made our two night stay in Cunningham Shore Motel very comfortable, with kitchenette and large bathroom. Motel grounds also exceptionally clean. Quiet location, and walking distance access to Lakes' cafes and restaurants. Managers were both friendly, making check-in easy and on day of departure our car's back & front windows were cleaned ready for onward travel. A much appreciated and thoughtful gesture on the part of management. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This will forever be our favourite place to stay. We’ve been coming here for a few years now and nothing has changed (in a GOOD way) Kristian and Michelle are beyond wonderful, the rooms are generous in size and always clean and tidy - and it’s not too big of a motel that you get overrun with craziness and noise. And my husband’s fave perk is they always clean your car windshields on your last morning with them. We already can’t wait to return!

The only thing I can think of is probably the water supply coming from the shower could've been better. But apart from that everything was great.
