The facilities were sparkling clean and comfortable with everything that was needed for the stay .There was a nicely folded extra blanket in the cupboard with an extra pillow .Complementary newspapers for guests at reception .Windows had double glazing which worked a treat blocking out traffic .The hosts are welcoming and nice to converse with .There’s a Woolworths Metro near by .Great pizza and pasta across the road . I enjoyed walking around looking at the heritage buildings and houses of South Melbourne intermingled with some newer architecture.Had fun watching the local dogs playing in a designated dog park close by .10 mins walk away is the Main Street full of interesting shops and pubs .No.12 Tram to St .Kilda or into the city .

I like the room very spacious and clean. I chose City Park Hotel because it was just 8 minutes walk from the RANZCOG. The price of the room is much cheaper compared to other hotels. The staff were very nice to me as well.

It was just the air-con of my room didn't work in the first day, but the reception guy provided me an electric fan. On the second day the reception guy called for an electrician and my air-con was fixed then.

bit rough and dirty . cupboard fell apart where boil water . light switches very dodgy in the bathroom. turning shower from bath bit touchy pulling lever and very old stained bath , heating cooling average. room service ok, no face washers. ammenities not topped up as stayed over a couple of days. tea sugar etc. staff friendly . parking okay bit tight. value for money I think I would pay no more than $110 per night. not $331 for two nights.

The free undercover parking was quite good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had asked about arriving early and received a separate email addressing this request. As the room had just been cleaned, and we talked to the cleaner, we were able to leave our cases there and the car parked safely. It was certainly great value for money being a three to three and a half star hotel. The tram stop in Saint Kilda is a very short walk away. It was interesting that they use real keys to access the hotel and individual rooms.

Nothing really. It was all as described on their website, but with no restaurant as many people have commented on. The staff directed us to a very nice cafe up the street and around the corner.

Room is basic but spacious and surprisingly well isolated from the street traffic a stone throw away. Things work. Location is rather convenient, in walking distance to public transportation and essential shops (and a couple of good pubs/restaurants!). Price is fair and owners are nice and helpful.

The room was quite hot. There was a problem between the Booking.com system and their, after I had to cancel one booking. But the owners sorted it out quickly.

I really liked the (spa) room and enjoyed that part of it…! The bed was comfortable and room nice and cool…

There is not much to like…I’m not sure about the location to walk to places, but I didn’t need to… The Manager was very nice and delivered a wine glass to me while I was out at the soccer…!

What a lovely little Hotel. It's old and could maybe use a paint job but the staff were awesome. The bed was comfortable and it was a very good price for a weekend stay. Thank you for your hospitality. We will be back.

Maybe just a few pamphlets in the room for things to see and do.

The staff are amazing, went out of their way to change my room to allow me early check-in and we're more than happy to talk and be polite. (even with a breakfast recommendation). the room was better than the photos may suggest. it's basic yes but for what I needed it was ideal. if being not picky the bottom of the bathtub had some paint peeling off. again I just really enjoy the staff going the extra like when they didn't have to.

Both receptionists were great. I was a tad late to arrive, but they were so understanding and helped my son and I out. My son loved talking with them both and made us feel welcomed. The room was perfect, and the location was as well.

I was in Room 214. The window view was of suburban gardens and rooftops. The room met my needs for work and comfort adequately, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom showed signs of age and use, the bath lining had cracked and was peeling in places, and there was a musty smell consistent with inadequate ventilation.
