Very friendly staff and VERY comfortable rooms that have everything required for your stay. The meals available to the room were quality and the beds unexpectedly good. A small bathroom perhaps, but adequate.

These will not affect everyone! We were informed our Tesla was (fortunately) ok for the paid parking option (valet only). Reportedly some models are not as the car lift can not cope with the weight of the battery I believe. This should be mentioned somewhere as I'm not sure what alternatives there are for those that hit this problem and Tesla's or similar electric vehicles are becoming more common. Taps at the sink in the bathrooms not a great choice for those with arthritis or any lack of dexterity or strength in the hand.

Nice and clean, good size. They had the aircon on when we arrived which was really nice! All staff were accommodating and nice. Location was ok, great if you want to go to casino, but little far from restaurants and city (if walking).

The beds were a bit hard, they did have a mattress topper but it didn’t do much, it also had a ditch that I kept rolling into in the middle of the night. Entrance isn’t very easy to find, they did say in a text “through the glass door” but there were 2 and we kept walking in between cause we weren’t sure, lucky a lady was coming out and told us where it was. Maybe just need a sign saying reception with an arrow?

Room was very nice and location was ideal as it was close to the exhibition centre. Bed was comfy too.

Traffic noise was annoying, I stayed on second floor. Breakfast on day 1 was disappointing, I attended restaurant and ordered, took 20 minutes before my coffee arrived, waited another 8 minutes before I had to get up and leave, nearly half an hour I waited before I had to leave hungry. There were only 4 other people seated for breakfast so they were not busy. Very disappointing. No explanation given except a timid sorry. I'm still undecided if I should leave a negative review on google.

Really good location. Easy to walk into the free tram zone, or a close walk to a tram stop as well as the start of southbank. Pool, sauna and steam room great. (Ask to be on the 9th floor so you are on the same level as these facilities). The rooms are small but functional, and there is also a large lounge and reading room if you wanted to chill in a comfy space. Great to have a laundry too. Good shower. Was great to have the twin bed option.

Only thing was not really in the control of the hotel, we had a neighbouring room partying until around 5:30am one night which was not stopped by anyone - but we also didn't complain so they may not have known.

I really liked Shadowplay. The reception staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Our room was upgraded to include a balcony. The room was spacious. It had a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, really convenient if you don't want to eat out all the time. The bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast every morning in Edwin Wine Bar which was excellent, and the staff were great. The location was close to Crown Casino, South Warf, D.F.O, and public transport. Short walk to Metro Woolworths, McDonald's, IGA xpress, and plenty of other places to eat.I would definitely stay here again. It was great value.

I did not think the free in-house movie selection was that great.

Clean and comfortable. Great facilities with a lovely outdoor heated pool, sauna and steam room. We stayed on our honeymoon and they gifted us a lovely bottle of red to celebrate. Which was lovely! Kitchen supplies, microwave and washing machine which was useful. We needed parking for one night and although the hotel had parking at quite a significant cost, that were kind enough to tell us that the daily rate for the crown parking was a third of the price and very close.

Room was quite small and bed was only small for the price of the room. A bit further walk from the city than realised, but close to crown promenade.

Location was convenient for me. Closer to tram station, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center (my conference venue), train station (Crossroad) and food outlets. The room and bed were maintained and cleaned on daily basis. Although there were no security personal seen, I felt safe sharing the same access with the hotels' bar/dining customers.

Location, staff and the apartment itself is great. We got fresh towels daily and got offered for a clean but we declined.

We were at a low floor (level 4) and can hear the street noise as well as noise from the room next door. The hallway also smelt like the bin chute which is really strong.

The breakfast was excellent! The room service was great and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean. The level 9 facilities were really great and enjoyed by our whole family. Edwin’s was excellent for dinner and beautiful drinks. Great atmosphere.

The tea cups in the rooms are very small. Outside Reception wayfinding signs could be added or improved if they are there.

Amenities were really nice and well maintained. The hotel was in a perfect location to everything we needed.

Size of the room was very tiny, both suitcases didn’t fit in the bedroom and were out in the living room. The size of the room felt a tiny bit expensive for what we paid however the location and amenities made up for it.
