Exceptional Stay at Park Hyatt Melbourne We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Park Hyatt Melbourne, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to a warm, friendly welcome and outstanding service that continued throughout our stay. Our room was notably spacious, providing us with ample space to unwind and relax after our daily adventures in Melbourne. The elegant design and comfortable furnishings further contributed to a serene and homely atmosphere that truly set the stage for a memorable stay. We were particularly impressed by the excellence of the room service, which consistently delivered super services. The staff demonstrated a commendable level of professionalism and kindness, always attending to our needs with a smile and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A special mention must be made about the chief concierge, whose recommendations greatly enhanced our experience in Melbourne. His insightful advice allowed us to discover local gems and experiences we might have otherwise overlooked. Of particular note was his recommendation to try the Morton Bay Bugs - a delightful culinary discovery that stands out as a highlight of our gastronomic adventures in the city. In conclusion, our stay at Park Hyatt Melbourne exceeded our expectations in every way. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire team at the hotel for making our stay such a pleasant one. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Jan & Malgorzata Krzak

I was in the industry for over 11 years back in the late 90s and 2000s. This hotel keeps the heritage look and feel alive. It also keeps the old skool level of service, which is always welcomed in 2023. We came in with our newborn baby, straight from the Womens Hospital, and instantly, we were welcomed and given wine and dessert. We also were also surprised that the notes on the Booking.com request were read, understood and a higher, quieter, room was allocated. The stay reminded me of my old Hotel in its hay day. The Hilton on the Park. Brilliant from the Bell staff, to front reception and through to Guest Services that took note of not just the requests, but also the reasons behind each request. This ensured continuity at each point of contact and each additional request. A truely human centred approach with high levels of value. Thanks to everyone for working in unison and working at that high level across the three days. Regardless of each role, each role played the part in creating the stay we will remember. Cheers, Matt, mum and bub.

sometimes you stay at large CBD hotels and it's all very impersonal. Not at the Park Hyatt. from the resident Labrador to all the staff. everyone was friendly and efficient. the door staff are on top of there game storing luggage and parking cars. our room was well appointed with simply beautiful bed linen & towels. the buffet breakfast us very good. we made use of the spa facility which features a large indoor pool & jacuzzi plus sauna & steam in the changing rooms. the location of the hotel is excellent as just behind the Victoria parliament building. quiet with zero road noise. you can easily walk down Collins street or catch a Tram

Housekeeping don't forget to replenish the in room teabags. us Brits love our Tea!

We appreciate every aspect of our stay in this hotel. The location was absolutely the best for us - central, yet very quiet and well surrounded. The room- nice, clean, spacious and comfortable; the girl at the reception read our mind about our needs for the room features. Great gym, spa& swimming pool. Excellent breakfast and very nice staff at the breakfast room- they take into account your preferences when choosing the table for breakfast, which is very nice and not so common. And last but not the least, a real gem of this hotel- Nigel, the concierge, an absolutely right person on a right place; so welcoming, so friendly, so committed to taking care of guests- he made our stay in Melbourne and it was absolutely amazing ! One of our best hotel experiences ever !

No objections at all.

We love to stay at the hotel. Location is amazing. Nice room service. Like the spa. Rooms are spacious and very beautiful design. The most favourite part of the hotel is Mr Walker, the hotel dog. We have known him since he was 3 years old and really happy to see him every time we stay at the hotel.

Not sure what happened to the hotel service but every time calling the front desk or the concierge during our stay was taking some time to answer or no response at all. A spa reception lady didn’t really care on my arrival. Just point me the way to the women locker room without offering a key. Steam room was not properly working.

The bed was the most comfortable I've slept on and the pillows as well. The staff and service they provided was fantastic. I liked the privacy that was also afforded between rooms/suites. Great curtains to keep out the light - I was able to sleep in without a care.

Sadly, my last meal was a little disappointing. I had room service and ordered the rump/steak - it wasn't exactly a great cut and came with a butter knife not a steak knife, which made cutting it difficult. Additionally, the braised greens weren't as tasty as the ones I had on Friday night. However, aside from that, everything else was amazing.

Loved everything. The bed was comfy, the room was huge as was the bathroom and dressing room. Towels were large. Toiletries were luxurious. Shower was hot. Access into the throng of Melbourne and the walk to the MCG very easy. Next to Treasury Gardens and Fitzroy Gardens for lovely walks and sights. Loved that the door opened to allow the fresh air and the ambience of Carlton's win (tooting car horns, singing and general crowd noise as they were walking home from MCG) to come in. Loved everything and would stay again next time in Melbourne. Didnt try the restaurant, room service or pool.

Nothing.

Room was great. Location was excellent. Breakfast was ok can be improved by adding more choices. The Hotel does not have more than 1 restaurant for dinning!

The concierge service skills need improvement! Also having them in an office is a wrong choice ,in my opinion, as they are isolated from gusts and some gusts might be hesitance to approach them in an office. The coffee shop in the lobby is limited with dessert options and all available dessert, except one, contains alcohol or the Vanilla used in the dessert is soaked in alcohol.

This hotel was advertised as 5* and it certainly lived up to that expectation. Location was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the choice of food at breakfast was wonderful.

Very minor issues were the chairs in the breakfast room made a horrible scraping noise on the floor every time anyone moved - they really need some kind of "pads" put on them. The toaster needs repaired/replaced - even at the highest level it took 5 turns before bread was actually toasted! Other guests mentioned this to the staff at breakfast so hopefully the problem will be resolved now. Finally, for a 5* hotel it would have been nice to have had fresh milk in the fridge for our tea and coffee, and a better supply of English Breakfast tea bags which were rationed at 2 per day!
