We were given an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment which was lovely and the views were lovely. The staff were friendly and the room layout was very spacious especially for the price.

The room smelt of someone cooking when we arrived, which didn’t bother us greatly but some air fresheners would of been nice. The carpet had suspicious white stains, the sheer curtains once drawn had stains covering all of them which was really very gross. The cutlery was very scratched up and still had food on it from poor washing. Very minor cleaning things that could be easily fixed. In the morning there was construction of some type happening next to our room from 7-8am which surely could be done from check out time onwards since people are paying to get sleep ins on holidays.

The staff where so polite, location great, cleanliness was above average for a Melbourne Motel (Myself and partner stayed in quite a few last few months). We asked for a high room and ended up with a room at the top of the building with a lovely view. There was a lovely little welcome pack which was a very nice touch.

It was a little tired but at the price I paid I am not complaining. The only thing I was surprised is that the the motel does not take a deposit using an EFTPOS terminal like most motels I have stayed in, rather they take your card and manually enter the number.... not great these days as it leaves a venerable point of possible fraud and unwarranted accusations against front of house staff if the number on the credit card is compromised. The Manager stated it was the Hotel's Policy which I have to say is pretty out dated.

Mantra 100 exceeded all expectations. As the price was fair I wasn't expecting such a great apartment. The apartment was spacious, had a great kitchen, large bedrooms & bathroom. It was in a prime location for spending the weekend in the city. Nowhere was too far to walk - the laneways were around the corner and the museum was a short walk. Parking was also very convenient and surprisingly cheap. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back again.

The breakfast is just a breakfast in a box - don't bother especially if you are coeliac like me. I think this should have been noted on the Booking.com site. When I told the hotel I couldn't have that breakfast they instantly refunded the money so no problem at all.

The location was great, the staff were very helpful and went above and beyond. The staff were very accomodating to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and tidy as-well.

When we arrived the room had an odour however the staff were very accommodating and were more then willing to find a solution. The bedding also had an odour and the staff were very apologetic and rectified the issue straight away. The service was 10/10. The facilities in the room could be better (tv is very old and outdated), no cloths racks etc as well as the furniture being very small for the amount of room in the apartment.

We were very happy with the room because of the size and the fact that you can close off the bedroom. Also there was a bath in the bathroom.

We didn't arrive back to the room until 8.30PM and the reception was closed with our bag locked in there. I don't understand why our bag wasn't just taken up to our room. I had medication in our bag that I could not go without. When we dropped our bag off earlier we were not given key passes or the front door code to regain entry. When we did get in via your phone number on the sign on the front door, we went out again about half an hour later for about 10 minutes and when we got back to our room the key passes would not work. One of your staff was leaving as we came in and we had to call her back so she could re-calibrate the key passes, very frustrating.

The location was really good as we were staying in Melbourne for the first time and it wasn’t too far from everything that we wanted to do in Melbourne and wasn’t too far from trams. The staff were really nice and helpful.

The blankets on the bed didn’t have a cover and were quite gross looking so would have preferred them to have been covered as they were yellow with stains. Some of the cutlery we used was dirty when we went to use it out of the cupboards and required us to clean it before using it. There was construction every morning that we weren’t warned about that would have been good to know was going to be happening.

It is 1 bedroom apartment instead of studio with seperate lounge room and bedroom. Sofa in lounge room OPEN up is sofa bed. Staff was very helpful for FREE early check-in and 1 bottle of wine and complementary chips and chocolate. Also reception help me to check-out to carry trolley down and late check-out until 12am.

NOTHING, except list $150 For 3 nights, but it is $150 per night and 3 nights over $500 including service charge and GST. I stretched my budget.

size, location, facilities were all very good. i liked having access to a functional kitchen and very generous wardrobe storage. couches were comfortable and lots of natural light. temperature was comfortable without using heating/ air con

the bed was not to my taste, nor were the pillows. I feel that a "pillow menu" or add ons for mattress toppers would benefit sleep experiences. I'd also recommend desks be available in the rooms. The studio apartment was very generously sized and would have been even more functional with a work station

Location was great , so close to restaurants , bars & events . Staff were very friendly & helpful . Room was comfortable .

Bit of maintenance or up keep on certain things like operation of windows , airconditioning & tv . This could have been due to previous guests not using the items or not advising the staff of issues with them - staff appeared happy that we let them know of the issues .

the bed was a bit soft but ok . like how you could open the window for air from the country you like air and if was quite end of the street the chair were a bit low for us and soft and hard to get out . The shampoo etc had a nice smell

We did like the shower over the bath as its hard to get in and out when your knee's dont work and you are getting older Make sure your house clean staff emply the coffee mashine and dont leave in old coffee pod
