It was refurbished, comfortable and great location.
It had a stain and mould in one corner of the lounge from the roof obviously leaking.Also the parking facilities were not what I expected with me wanting two nights to park but could only be catered one due to the induction being offered on my second day which I didn’t use as I required two nights / days for it.Also lock out exactly on ten am was ridiculous, should have at least a half hour grace. My luggage got locked in my room when I went to get it at 10.02am. Having it unmanned at the front I didn’t like either. I think a staff member should be at the location for safety reasons ,assistance and to meet and service peoples stay and needs.

Excellent position within 7 minutes walk of the last 109 line station. The train takes 12 to 15 or so minutes to get to the city depending on time of day. Very convenient to the beach and to the bay street shops. The shared rooftop area was an excellent place to relax and look at the view.
The only problem was the sound and light from the living room into the bedroom. The bedroom door is not solid but rather a large timber surrounded glass panel. As a result at night it was not possible to exclude light or sound from the TV if one person is up and one is in bed.

We had two separate stays and were happy with the accommodation overall. The apartment facilities and clenliness were good . The rooftop area is great with excellent views and barbecue faciliies available. There were a few things as listed below but we were happy with the accommodation and would stay there again. Our comments can be used as a guide for improvement.
These comments should be taken as constructive: 1) on our first stay the dishwasher did not work, this was eventually repaired. 2) on our second stay water poured through the bathroom roof into our flat. I called the emergency number and was told there would be someone there to fix the issue....IM STILL WAITING TO BE CONTACTED BY THE EMERGENCY STAFF... . this aspect needs some improvement. 3) The lift has a horrible smell coming off the carpet, this needs deep clean or replacement, this was our only negative as it should be picked up on inspection.

The Hamptons Apartments St Kilda were fantastic! We had a last minute change from Port Melbourne to St Kilda and we couldn't be happier. Vina, the manager, was amazing! She was extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment was clean and in a great location, a 5 minute walk to the train station. We were upgraded as we were asked to change locations, so we had a balcony.
We like using kitchen facilities when away to cater for food allergies, so a few more utensils would have suited us. A folder with a map of the local area, good restaurants nearby and train timetables would also be useful.

Great location, clean and well appointed. The amenities provided were appreciated and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Nothing much that was within Hamptons Apartment’s control. What did frighten us on one of the nights was a random stranger tried to enter our apartment. That was scary as he was very persistent and left only when banged on the door aggressively and threatened to take action.

Really fantastic stay, loved the location close to great cafes and shops if you need them. Fantastic rooftop views of the City. Quiet and comfortable with all amenities needed.
The settee/coach was a little worn and uncomfortable. Couldn't find instructions to the air con and couldn't seem to watch 'live' TV these were only minor things to us as we were out most of the time.

Great location. Facilities were excellent and everything was comfortable.
No staff made things a little difficult. From requesting an early check in and getting no response to having been charged for parking only to find we couldn’t park on site after we paid. Then our code wasn’t sent by check in time so we had to call for the code to be sent through. All would have been avoided if there was someone at reception.

The actual apartment was a standout - great layout, comfortable, Hamptons styling.View from rooftop is awesome. Also appreciated the location near the beach, and easy to drive or walk around or get to public transport. The staff member upon arrival was helpful (and you didn't really need them after that). The apartment had the basic stuff to cook with, allowing you to cook without going out. Big tick with washer and dryer appliances as well.
Lack of secure parking, which is usually a deal breaker for us when selecting somewhere to stay. Our SUV was apparently too big for the parking, and we parked on the streets (we copped a fine due to misreading one of the parking signs). We had to drive around in circles to find parking most nights. There were also no stand out options for eating out. You would have to drive to find something.

location, comfort and cleanliness were all very good.
We booked car parking and had no instructions at all on how to use the car stacker. Getting in was a mystery and with no one on site to ask, it was a waste of money. Luckily we were able to find on street parking. I also would have liked more than one dishwasher tablet left for what was a three night stay. Prior to our stay, communication with management was difficult. Emails took at least 24 hours to be responded to, questions asked within emails went unanswered and when I called the hotline (twice) I still didn’t get the answers I needed.
