The apartment was big, comfortable and was styled in a funky way. I loved the artwork on the walls (both from a series that worked well together) , the balcony was private and the there was no TV in the bedroom (which I like). The shower was fine and basically, we just felt right at home. The best thing was the parking under the building, which was free and did not need to book it.

Ummm.....mu hubby said the shower was too low for him, as he is quite tall and (getting picky), there could have been some coffee there for the percolator. As I said, I am being picky here.

Honestly, it’s was so lovely. We stayed for a week and it had everything we needed and more. Our apartment had a great view, comfortable bed, nice bathrooms, well equipped kitchen&laundry and massive living area. Location is great, if you want to be part of the trendy neighborhood. Yes, there is some street noises, but it’s Melbourne! You have Local Coles downstairs, which is much better than any other Coles. Street food&art, great restaurants&bars, trams&uber, shopping etc - location is so good! And last - staff is so friendly&kind - totally going to stay there again!

If you need to stay in Fitzroy, this is a perfect local

Only tiny thing was there is inevitable small amounts of traffic noise being on a main road. This is probably more obvious than it is given the rooms are otherwise incredibly quiet

Great location in edgy Fitzroy (yes there are lots of cool shops and cafes and street folk and graffiti) right next to Coles and the no 11 tram stop. we had a one bed apartment which was so well thought out and appointed. The bed was comfy with nice pillows, a bedside table, light and power socket on each side, right next to a good bathroom with decent shower, basin and loo. A cupboard in the bathroom concealed a washing machine and tumble drier. There was a drying rack for clothes, ironing board and iron, vacuum cleaner and hairdryer. A big TV, excellent wi-fi, comfortable sofa and chair, dining table and chairs and a balcony with table and chairs. The galley kitchen had a small dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and fridge with all the necessary pans, dishes and tools all in good order. teatowels, dishcloth, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, bin emptied every day - they really have thought of everything - so many little touches, like a pen and notepad, are included. The staff were lovely and happy to keep our bags outside of check in times to facilitate our travels. Also quick to respond to requests or issues. I really couldn’t rate Tyrian Apts more highly - we had a great stay and would definitely go back.

The peeling paint and all-covering graffiti of the neighbourhood is a little off putting as are the rough sleepers and addicts - but we actually felt perfectly safe and these are all endemic to this area - nothing to do with the property. the tram runs within yards/metres of the door and we felt quite safe getting home at night.

Amazing location - right next door to a Coles and a tram line straight into the CBD. Surrounded by great eateries. The apartment is SO spacious for a Melbourne property. I was truly surprised at the amount of room. great value for money. Really clean and had everything we needed. Great size for our family (18month old and 4 year old). The staff were fabulous and accommodating. They followed through with my request of having my family on the same floor.

The mattresses and pillows need an update. They were quite uncomfortable. There were plenty of pillows to choose from but all were really lumpy.

Comfortable apartment with kitchen and washing machine, close to great restaurants. Coles conveniently located next door, the tram is close, but not so you can hear it. They had secure luggage storage so we could go off and explore after check out. We've stayed here a few times. There's a lot to like. Comfy bed.

Maybe replace the instant coffee with a pod machine and add a teapot. That's a small concern with so many cafés nearby. No bath in this apartment but it has everything else.

Located just a short walk from a supermarket, Brunswick street for restaurants and trans into the CBD. We were kindly upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment so lots of space also with a full kitchen. The building is fairly quiet too - not really any internal noise or road noise disrupting your stay - still the typical late night street noise of a weekend in town.

The only downsides were the shower. The one in the ensuite kept leaking a lot out into the tiles so we were using the shower over bath in the second bathroom instead. Water pressure isn’t very high either but does get very hot!

Spacious, relaxing decor and bed very comfortable with all amenities included for a longer stay. Well thought out in layout. We needed X 2 apartments for extended family for a wedding and appreciated that we were placed very close together to enjoy our three days together. Thankyou.

Unfortunately there was road works on the road entrance which kept changing the access. No fault of the hotel but made it extremely difficult to get into the parking area.

Location was great. Lots of restaurants, bars and cafes within easy walking distance. There is a Coles supermarket just downstairs too. it’s a short 15 minute tram ride into the heart of Melbourne city. We were upgraded to a 2bedroom apartment which was lovely. It had two bathrooms, a huge kitchen. A balcony with a lovely view of the city. Especially pretty at night. The staff were also super friendly and helpful.
