Great location for walking to restaurants, public transport wasn’t too far away, good coffee close by, easy walk to supermarket. My daughter loved the pool. The temperature of the pool water was great. Was nice to stay in a quieter area compared to right in the city.

Not a big problem for us - but the tv was not great. Could only access free to air channels and the guide wouldn’t allow us to see what was on. I tried connecting my phone to screen share and the tv wouldn’t show up to connect. Very small bathroom which was fine for us but I could imagine it would be a tight squeeze for some people. Paying $30 a day for parking - seems expensive.

The hotel is located outside the CBD in a quiet neighbourhood, but it is only three or four tram stops to the CBD. So, it is outside the hustle and bustle of a city. Several restaurants are nearby, and the Woolworths supermarket is a few minutes walk. The rooms are clean and of good size, and the beds are comfy as well. One of their staff members, I believe her name is Therese, was very accommodating to our needs, which we appreciate.

It's outside the free tram zone, so you must pay whenever you visit the CBD. A few fixes here and there: 1. The bathroom door does not lock in our room. 2. There's quite a gap in the main door of our room where cold air and light would seep in.

Very clean with all amenities you’d expect from a hotel, rooms were quiet and appreciated the block out curtains. Pool looks great and the lobby was well decorated for Christmas, adds a personal touch. Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. Cooked breakfast was à la carte for our stay so very fresh, great fruit and pastry options. Could add a self service coffee/tea area as coffee is additional. Location is great, close enough to cbd and Docklands without busyness of staying in cbd. We used clock tower parking as parking at hotel fully booked. this would be a great spot for families visiting Melbourne, have already booked our next stay. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Unbelievable value compared to cbd prices considering breakfast quality, location, cleanliness etc. this is a bit of a hidden gem.

Been coming here 30yrs, always try booking as location, price and amenities very good. If any problems occur staff excellent. My only two gripes are, now paying for car parking and the refusal by staff to swap notes for coins so you can use the laundry.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great room, overlooked the courtyard pool. Very comfortable bed and location was excellent. Very short walk to Lygon Street restaurants and easy access to Peter Mac hospital. Easy parking, although a bit tight fine for a smaller car. Appreciated being able to leave the car there even after checkout and to utilise their lounge area as my wife was in hospital for the day.

The only thing was the bathroom was pretty small and tight, but still clean and the shower was hot

All the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Housekeeping services were excellent and the room was kept spotlessly clean all through our stay. The location was great. Close to lots of lovely eating places, the trams and the buses and within walking distance to the city centre.

The pool was lovely but didn't get much sun (but that couldn't be helped). It just meant we didn't use it as much as we might have done otherwise.

It was comfortable and in great location. Walking distance to many of Melbourne attractions. However, the best was the staff. They were informative, professional, and after a 17 hour flight let me to check into my room earlier, after previous communication about my need.

For some travellers limited food options might be an issue (breakfast only), but it is clearly spelled out before you book.

First of all, the location for us was perfect since we came to explore the city and the University of Melbourne. Secondly, it was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the reception was superhelpful and with good sence of humour.

I bit tiny bathroom. The view from the window at some old house and back walls of other buildings (we were at the room 206). A very expensive breakfast: we tried it only once, but still remember that a couple of fried eggs and a cup of green tea cost each of us $35. Terribly expensive and disappointing.

Location was good for us, the pool looked good but we didn’t get to use it. Had a restaurant.

Booked as said there was an airport shuttle but there was not so bit disappointed but I should have confirmed with hotel before booking. Room we had was by an access way door so was a bit noisy with people going back and forth. Otherwise all good for what we needed.
