noisy at night - people in the pool late at night, people walking through the grounds and sitting in the grounds talking and smoking to early morning no housekeeping at weekends bed was uncomfortable supermarket (coles) was over a mile away but after walking there late one night we found that the 86 tram ran from near the hotel to the supermarket. It would have been helpful to know that when we booked in.

Stay in apartments for 7 nights . Great location- Melburne Musium just 5 minutes walk through the park. Also 15-20 minutes walk to CBD, where all of our pick up points were for the trips. Easy pick up and drop off point for Uber. Kitchen with all facilities - cooked our own breakfast 😋. 1.5 block away great restaurants and caffes, grocery shops. Our room was ready to check in early, and we were allowed to check out later due to our flights.

Really convenient spot, right near the gardens. But still tucked away enough that it felt private. Parking on-site is affordable and easy to find. We collected our room key from a lockbox as we arrived late, but instructions were clear and we had no trouble at all finding our room. The room was more like an apartment, with kitchen and lounge/dining area upon entry, then 2 king sized bedrooms upstairs, along with the bathroom and an ensuite in one of the rooms. Everything was very clean and tidy! The grounds/garden was well kept too, and nice to look at through the window. Staff were lovely when we went to return keys in the morning, and the after hours staff on the phone were great as well.

Upon late arrival, the reception had lights off and there was very little lighting outside so you had to use a flashlight to find the lockbox. It's a large complex with several entrances so initially it could be a bit tricky to navigate - particularly if you arrive at night.

What a fantastic place! A beautiful older building with charm. A fantastic outdoor green with BBQ area and pool. Walking distance to Carlton Gardens and great eateries. We will definitely be making this our go to stay when we come to the city - will be a great option for us with kids too.

No elevator, so had to use stairs to get to the top floor.

The location to St Vincents Hospital and the city

The shower setup, modern shower head too low, in bath tub that was too high in relation to the floor. When we tried to book in for another stay, my email to 'reservations' was not answered, a phone call in regard to the email was not replied to the following day, then, after waiting for confirmation, was told nothing was available. Thats Ok, but the initial email should have been answered within a couple of hours.

Our apartment was much bigger than I expected (on two floors) and had two bathrooms and a second (locked) bedroom since I had asked for a quiet room. The whole place was pretty quiet, anyway, and well soundproofed. It was centrally located, close to several tram routes but also within walking distance to the free city tram. There were also several great restaurants close by. There were laundry facilities (which we didn't need to use) and very friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was a comfortable one. It was super-clean, and the bed was comfortable. This place would be ideal for a family, especially for a longer stay than just the weekend.

The location of Comfort apartments is excellent and we were able to walk to the places we wanted to go. We were pleasantly surprised with our room being so spacious and spectacularly clean. Our beds were super comfy with crisp clean sheets. The staff were really helpful and kind when my mum had difficulty turning the heating on after hours.

There was some noise in the early hours of the morning from garbage trucks and people walking through the lane however, this did not impact us greatly. There were some cigarette butts in the garden at our room again this did not impact us we just had to pick them up so my children could play.

Located right across the road from the Melbourne exhibition center, walking distance to lots of great bars and restaurants, near the free tram into the city for shows and shopping. Large room with lots of space, carparking available. Clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Room was a little stuffy and unfortunately the aircon unit in one of the bedrooms did work, beds were on the hard side and it was a little noisy due to the make up on the complex.

Really comfy king size bed with great pillows and plenty of extra bedding for added warmth. There was a reverse cycle evaporative air con in both the bedroom and lounge room. A chromecast in the tv made streaming easy if needed. The kitchen was well appointed with a dishwasher, good size fridge, oven and microwave. Washer, dryer and hair dryer just topped everything off. Everything was clean and tidy. We were able to store our luggage on check out and return later to collect. Reception was very helpful.

The only thing that wasn't great was the weather, but that wasn't in control of the venue. LOL. So glad we had great heating. We weren't able to enjoy the outdoor area due to the weather, but it looked great.

I loved that our room literally had every.. washing machine, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, a great size fridge !! So many things would be perfect for a staycation or even just a week or two .. we obviously only stayed one night and loved our room. Even the staff were absolutely amazing !!

Unfortunately the large king bed was a little on the hard side with a spring mattress but we only stayed one night so was that was okay. The size of the bed was amazing my pregnant partner could really spread out and put her feet up.
