Enmyitt at check in was very helpful. secure parking off street. Good size 2 bedroom apartment and location was very quiet and private within complex. Bed was comfortable. bathroom was roomy. Lounge room was roomy. Overall the apartment did not feel cramped. Perfectly suitable for short term (3 nights stay)

Amazing staff waited 2 hours past when they could have gone home just to meet us and make sure that we were checked in ok. The location is top-notch for city adventure. The apartment, although a very little bit tired from age, is an example of how great an older place can be when properly cared for and maintained.

Location was the best in Melbourne; Apartments were generous and well appointed; having a bath is very nice; plenty of bench space; smart TV was great

Reception staff are always excellent at the clocktower hotel accommodation. If you are late checking in they give you very detailed & precise instructions to provide a seamless entry to your accommodation.. Staff are readily available to call if you have any queries. Can't speak highly enough of their assistance. Clocktower hotel has large rooms providing plenty of space & the hotel is ideally situated with getting to any major events happening in Melbourne. The Lygon street eatery strip is virtually just outside your door, providing plenty of choices if dining out. Car parking at the hotel is available also. Some of the rooms are a bit dated & some have been refurbished, but the win is that the rooms are quite large, very clean & the position of the hotel is excellent. Have stayed here multiple times & will continue to return.

Decor was a little old, but we knew that as it's made clear on the website. The apartment was exceptionally clean and the location is top notch. I stayed there over new year's over 30 years ago and it brought back lots of good memories. We had an issue of our own making and the staff bent over backward to help us out (left a bag out on the street outside the office). Could not want for a better experience and would definitely stay there again.

Would love to stay there again once they've gotten around to update the decor. Each of the apartments has a small gated area out the front which is a little difficult to open in the middle of the night when you're suffering from jet lag, but that's not their fault. Only thing I would suggest improving is instructions on finding the apartment (again, jet lag).

The apartments are in a fantastic location for accessing all that Lygon Street has to offer. The restaurants and bars of Fitzroy are only a short and lovely walk away too. Although I didn't meet the reception staff they were really helpful. I had a couple of calls and texts in the day or so before we were due to check in to organise the chcek in process. It made is very easy. The apartment had all we needed for our stay, and I was appreciative of the coffee bags (no Nescafe Blend 43 thank goodness).

The apartment decor was quite dated. There were cobwebs in the bathroom, and the tired bathroom was showing a lot of wear.

The location was perfect leading straight the front door into Lygon St and directly across the road from our favourite restaurant. The rooms were spacious and clean with everything we needed Emmyt called me prior to our stay to advise the office would be closed on our arrival but explained in detail where to collect the key and park the car which meant no stress when arriving at a new place. He also offered to be on call if we needed anything or had issues getting to our room We will definitely return

Really well priced and amazing location, plus parking was great. Rooms were a good size and essentials were all available. Service was absolutely amazing and room was easily accesible and felt quite safe at night with the extra gate. Full size fridge, washer and dryer came in handy. Also reception was super friendly and helpful :)

Room was quite warm and hard to cool down with just the air con in the kitchen, also windows had to be propped open (got creative) and didnt have screens. Only one standing fan available. Curtain over the front door was sheer and could easily be seen through from outside (grateful for extra gate) Also the neighboring apartment had a dog and barked at us when we came home late, but that wasnt too bad.

The facilities provided exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly, but the cleaners were fully occupied, I assumed due to the frequent reminders that were needed to get the apartment cleaned.

The fact that I had to inform quite frequently to clean the apartment. We stayed there for 8 days and 7 nights, we only had the whole apartment cleaned once, after frequent reminders.

The location, included parking were very good to have. Everything you need is also included - washer, dryer, fully equipped kitchen. We had a queen + double room and it was enough for our party of 4 (including 1 infant who sometimes slept with us on the queen bed) They were kind enough to arrange a cot for us and after-hours pick up. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and effort of the staff.

Not much to complain of, perhaps the property due to historic value seems a bit dated in the furnishing and renovation, it may be a good time to consider some refurbishment. There are also a lot of cobwebs in most of the rooms. I also happened to only stay for the weekend, so I couldn't feedback that my dryer was broken.
