Nice big room,nice view,comfortable bed,nice balcony

There is no internet available in the room 302 despite having been marketed. There is no Wi-fi at all. One receptionist told us it is because that evening "very many guests were using wi-fi and tomorrow after guests leave wi-fi will be available"?????? The other receptionist told us wi-fi was recently replaced and not functioning well-yet"???? The manager who will fix wi-fi and whose presence next morning was promissed to us, never appeared. Apart from that it was pleasant stay.

Loved the pool and spa and walking distance to Main Street and shops and beach

I would say being in room close to drive Thru bottle shop side,as the noise Level and people coming and going through this area and going over noisy speed humps..People going in and out gate was very noisy at times,,and the carnival pretty loud sounds coming from rides etc .Iwould prefer to be on other side of building,as less noise.

The staff were great and management was very flexible as our room was not fitted with basic kitchen facilities and having a 4 year old it was important for me so they moved us to a more suitable room, really great at such a peak period.

The initial room was right opposite the carnival and was very noisy in the evenings until around 10.30. I would highly recommend a poolside room as it's much quieter for getting young ones off to sleep.

Comfy room. Comfy bed. Great view as stated in the description, so was worth the upgrade. Loved the bathroom, loved the espresso machine, loved that we could stream NF. Loved the extra warm blankets. Loved the simple to use heating and cooling system. Loved the chaise lounge, super comfy. Overall pretty great room.

Couldn't order any room service- not sure if i overlooked this detail when I booked. Its just nice to know we would be able to order room service if need be. Wasnt able to have our balcony door open without hearing some sort of constant loud swearing or at times what we think is someone arguing was just a couple of loud-mouths. The vibe that I felt from staff at check in and check out was abit off. Abit uncomfortable. Would have been nice to be asked at check out how our stay was but nope. I did try to create small conversation regarding our stay but the man at checkout didn't seem to keen on chatting. Not much of a smile either. Check in woman was neither here or there. I don't want to get into too much detail on here so if you wanted me to elaborate you are free to contact me.

The staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful. The room itself was spacious with a large comfy couch, a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed The location is ideal for a trip to the peninsula, as it is in the centre of Rye.

I think the fan in the bathroom was broken. The lights directly over the bed are quite aggressively bright (even when dimmed as much as possible), and there is no bedside lamp to use instead.

The customer service from the entire staff of Rye Hotel was exceptional. Shout out to all the guys at the restaurant. By far the best customer service I've had in the whole of Australia. The food was amazingly very tasty. the portions were huge and very filling too 😎 I'll definitely visit again soon

Not that it matters that much but more tv channels would be great

Tidy, clean, good supply of towels and kitchen items. Pool looked good but not used by us as it was the middle of winter.

Needs better blockout blinds, too much light coming in at night. Bleach the grout, especially in the shower. Provide a hair dryer that works, the one supplied died as soon as it was turned on. Provide a doona or at least a cover, not sheets tucked over blankets. For the cost of this room it needs a bigger TV and some bathrobes.

Great location with an easy walk to the main strip. Awesome spa and pool we were in it multiple times a day. The room was pretty spacious and the bed was huge. The bathroom was really nice and had a big shower/spa bath. It was really quiet despite being fully booked and near a main road. Super close to the hot springs and the beach. Plenty of towels and included beach towels which were handy.

The bed was extremely hard and I woke up with back pain, huge disappointment because the space was awesome on the king. My partner and I woke up freezing in the night as there was only 2 sheets and a blanket on the bed. We grabbed the extra blankets but they were super dusty so we couldn’t use them. It was a bit disappointing that when the room received a tidy up on our second night the cleaners forgot to put a bin liner in the main bin and a liner far too small for the bathroom bin.

The hotel location is perfect. It is right opposite the pier, playground and boat ramp, the walking distance to the restaurants. The room is clean and tidy.

It would be amazing if the outdoor pool is a heater pool and the TV would be nice to have a Netflix.

What I liked about the property was the view, easy access to shops and parking etc. Overall, I had an amazing stay. Will be back again.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was that the room didn’t have any kitchen area for cooking breakfast, only a kettle and coffee machine so I had to go buy a $5 toaster, but I think that was just the room I had picked. Other then that, the property is exceptional
